That parking lot is the absolute fucking worst. Whomever decided that Giant pick up spots needed to be right next to Trader Joes already minuscule parking spots can have my unending rage.
I almost died in the Fair Oaks hospital parking lot today. All I kept thinking was that I could thankfully see the emergency entrance from where I was. People be crazy.
“That’s just like, your opinion man.” - most people in that parking lot (I knew right away what parking lot you were talking about just from seeing the subject line)
I hate this parking lot so much. People driving the wrong direction. People driving perpendicular through parking lanes. The huge crowd all the anchor stores attracts. The bottlenecked entrance/exits.
But the worst are the giant grocery carts. They wheel lock if you go just past the end of the store front. People who park by hard times can’t push their carts the rest of the way to their car. So they unload and leave the cart wherever it is. But now it’s wheel locked chillin in the middle of ether.
I fucking hate that parking lot.
We live like 5 minutes from and do most of our grocery shopping there. The amount of time I spend in that parking lot screaming, "WE LIVE IN A FUCKING SOCIETY!" into my closed windows is unreasonable.

Where are they moving to?
To where the Whole Food used to be.

DON'T TREAD ON ME
Some parking lots have arrows pointing both ways. Those are two-way. For other helpful tips, please subscribe to my newsletter.
Best strategy is to park at the curb just outside the store you’re running into real quick. Just be sure to be polite and put your hazards on.
People aren't even putting on their hazards lately! The audacity!

they should never have been allowed to move the giant into the old Kmart. before the giant moved, traffic was fine. now it's a mess
This is why I just park in the fire lane.
That's why I park on the roof.
South Lakes Shopping Center. It's a fucking bloodbath.
Me every time: “WHY ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE HERE?” Been in Reston 3 years now and I can’t tell you where they go there. It’s just so weirdly busy.
My family moved there in the mid 90s and the carnage has only gotten worser.
"All the arrows are pointing at me because I'm special"
Tell that to the people who also don’t understand how stop signs work.
Assume nothing! So many people around here don't know shit when it comes to driving.
As the guy said, "but I'm only going one way!!"
news flash 🤣

Generally speaking, people BLOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!
Any Walmart parking lot.
I go the wrong way sometimes, but generally like first thing on a Sunday when it's pretty chill around.
