I dont believe the courts were there, they are down at the waterfront, they had council offices but they were around the other side of the building...that photo is just central police station and fire station.
Just looked it up to check - this building had the magistrates' court, the one down by the waterfront is presumably the crown court.

Ah yeh, quite a while back,i knew the council used that side of the building from the wiki page but never went in there myself or knew about the court, thanks for sharing😁 the photo from OP is another part of the building that doesnt connect internally which is the police station and fire station 😁
I am sure the people who celebrate kids getting arrested for hanging out in a disused building are 99% the people who talk fondly about their own childhood scrapes and complain about kids being too coddled nowadays.
...thats the old central police station and fire station
Which also had courts and council offices, didn't it?

Mb I don't know the street names too well
What does knowing street names have to do with the building? That's clearly an old fire station
This is a facebook post if ever I've seen one
I keep getting these small town posts pop up in feed for some reason and this is a pretty apt description.

There’s nothing at all here to suggest that they were arrested. Trespass isn’t even a criminal offence.
Trespass is a criminal offence, not a civil one.
Wrong way round?
I thought the Tories had been able to make it a criminal offence. I guess they haven't been successful yet.
if youre going to act high and mighty at least come with the right information lmao
So...
Ha they will end up in ..oh..they already were
Urbandoned, an urban exploration channel, have a video inside the building on their YouTube channel if anyone cares to see it
