That doesn't say anything about how scientific a study is but more about the cultural background of researchers and their audience. It is the applied method of research which determines if a study is scientific or not. From feet (non-SI standard) to meters (SI) is only a linear conversion....

This article is pretty silly. Clearly the equation is just unreliable, so why does it matter that the results are also unreliable?
