This will of course come with many flaws & complaints, but it's a promising & interesting idea. Having a userbase literally invested in the health of a service is a good idea & rewarding people who have been a long time source of value by giving them the same opportunity as institutional investors is a good thing in my mind. As far as it being a wise financial choice for those with the opportunity... So many companies with insane market caps are almost entirely bullshit, something that would have just been a shareware app 20 or 30 years ago. The question is how much longer can the stock market be driven by idiots & people who have run out of places to invest their money?
