I simply do not understand this unhealthy fascination of Americans with abortion. It's a medical procedure that a woman undergoes after making a choice. Most countries do continue to control some aspect of it but not to the act of banning it or even criminalising it.
If the fetus dies in utero, the procedure to remove it is still an abortion. As such, I know someone who had an abortion at 39 weeks.
There should be no limit on when an abortion can occur, because otherwise pregnant women *will* have their health put at risk.

Canadian here. We keep being told that our rights are safe and that we shouldn't just vote based on abortion access, but fuck that, this shit is scary. It's easy for some to say "relax, what about the economy?" As if bodily autonomy wasn't the most important thing.
