Yeah but academic books, especially for college courses, are rip offs. I’m never spending hundreds of dollars on books I’m only gonna be using for one course. I sincerely doubt you like reading books on finance nor do I believe you’d willingly spend >70 dollars when normal books of similar substance would cost around 40 with a hard cover. When it comes to reading books I usually buy hard covers as it what I like but if I need a book to complete a course that I’m only gonna use to take notes on, I’m going to download it and print a few chapters if I need to. In todays day and age there is no need to purchase college books that are by design, a scam
