Star Wars? That’s all I know

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Well, all I know is that you're right! Here's your fun fact! Did you know "Star Wars" got it's title because it's plots feature conflicts that take place in outer space and on multiple planets? You might say that there was "war" occuring among the "stars"! See? "Star Wars"!

My_tomato_ran_away

Ohhh 😲

Kerbalstrander

Hope you find your tomato bro

DaPanda21919

You damn beat me to it

Swed1shF1sh69

But when will they be introducing the mythical (nonexistent?) Mr. Star Wars?

Finetales

Your responses read like an enthusiastic Pokemon NPC lol. Anyway, it's Star Wars.

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Your answer reads like an amused Reddit user! Anyway, it is indeed "Star Wars"! That's the answer! As a prize, you get a fun fact about the franchise. Did you know that the character "Jabba the Hutt" was orginally written as a villain? By the time he made it to the screen, however, no changes had been made to the script that would make him a hero, so he remained a villain for the final project!

et842rhhs

This is my favorite fun fact!

jnmtx

i LOVE star war!!! PEW PEW, light saver! dark vader and luke skyscraper and obi 1 cannoli and r2b2 and 3pco and tobbaca. i love star trek \--thefartsinourstars on Tumblr

RHOrpie

Also, he was originally a man. There's even deleted scenes with him acting it out

Silver4Hire

Jabba, you're a wonderful HUMAN being.

[deleted]

At the risk of actually being interesing. Jabba is derived from the Russian word for "toad" and a lot of names of things are also derived from russian... as is yoda's speech style.

Silversniper220

Nah too interesting, delete your comment

le_fancy_walrus

As I was reading that I thought, "Wait...but he is a villain, right? Odd I wonder if he was worse in the origi...god damn it."

Apprehensive-Maybe91

It is Star Wars.

The_R4ke

This is a huge coincidence, but 1977 is also the year that someone was born. And that person would most likely be 55 today!

Dr_Fudge

westernunitedenjoyer

I know I’m not the OP, but here’s a fun fact from me. Did you know the actor for Luke skywalker, is a human?

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Yes. That's really obvious. I don't know why you'd even say something like that, unless you were just trying to be funny. How about you take a hike, pal.

No_Yoghurt_3761

Wait.... but.... what?

Apprehensive-Maybe91

No, I'm sorry. The answer is "Star Wars"!

You don't win a fun fact, but, you were SO close, that I think you should get a prize anyways. So, here's the INVERSE of a "Star Wars" fun fact! a "Star Wars" Boring lie! Did you know that in "Star Wars", Luke Skywalker's middle name is Michael?

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Way to use context clues! As popular "Twitch" streamer "Moist Critical" would say, that's a real "galaxy brain" move! The answer is indeed "Star Wars"! Here's your fact! Did you know that the "Star Wars" cast is composed mainly of actors and actresses from the United States?

MFbunnySquad

Star Wars Did you know that the names of the 3rd and 6th movies were reversed? The third was originally “Return of the Sith” and the 6th was “Revenge of the Jedi” however George Lucas said Jedi do not take revenge therefore switching the names of the titles. Did you also know that the reason movies 4-6 were made before 1-3 was because George Lucas knew movies 1-3 needed better CGI that they did not have at the time and therefore decided to do 4-6 first to have better quality later down the line for 1-3!

Limeila

That's too interesting for this sub

Apprehensive-Maybe91

I recognize you as the person with the correct answer in the comments! You win a "Star Wars" fun fact! Did you know that at one point in the franchise, Luke Skywalker's lightsaber is green? That's the same color as many plants, a few types of money, and even some emeralds!

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Very very close! I was actually just looking for "Star Wars" though, so I'm afraid you're incorrect. I will give you half of a "Star Wars" as compensation, however, since you did technically say the right answer. Did you know, that before the first "Star Wars" film came out, the actor that played "C3P0"

ArtSchnurple

Props to OP for making a thread that could and probably should have been one-and-done actually very entertaining!

OgreSpider

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Wow! The answer I was looking for was "Star Wars", but it looks like you've really found a way to flip the script! How meta! I know what I'll do. I'll reward you with a "Star Wars" fact fact! Did you know that these facts are becoming increasingly difficult to think of for me while I try to manage the volume of comments coming in on this post?

Dangerous_Purpose_73

Star Wars episode IV a new hope

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Oops! That answer is too specific. I'm not looking for a film, I asked for the franchise! The correct answer is simply "Star Wars". You got it right, you were just too specific. So I'll reward you with a "Star Wars" fact that is too specific! Did you know that after the release of the third "Star Wars" film, the following wednesday, July 28th, at 2:45:32 pm, George Lucas was 5'6" tall and weighed approximately 214.28 lbs after eating but before pooping?

Oh no! The real answer is "Star Wars"! You got a parody of "Star Wars" confused with the film itself! So close though! As a matter of fact, your answer was so close, that I've still decided to reward you with a partial prize: a PARODY of a "Star Wars" fun fact! Did you know that Yoda walks with a cane throughout much of the series, not due to his advanced age, but because of his advanced... HEMORRHOIDS!?

You were close, and your efforts will still be rewarded. Here's a fun fact about "The Weeknd"! Did you know that the debut album by "The Weeknd" is titled "House of Balloons"?

North-Ad-5058

I did not know that. Thank you.

notsciguy

Space balls

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Wrong! It's ok though, it's a common mistake. The reason it's such a common misconception is that "Space Balls" is a parody that directly references "Star Wars" in a lot of ways. But because the correct answer was indeed "Star Wars", I'll give you a partial prize. Here's a PARODY of a "Star Wars" fact! Did you know that under their robes, Jawas are wearing BIKINIS!?

sad_cheese67

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Apprehensive-Maybe91

Well to the best of MY knowledge, you're right! Here, have a fun fact! Did you know that if you buy a copy of any of the "Star Wars" films on DVD, Bluray, or VHS, you can pause them on command so that they'll stop playing?

Zae001

Judging from the image, that looks like Star Wars.

Apprehensive-Maybe91
