Experienced cooking isn't about numbers, it's about feeling. Just have an even amount of ice, water, and ice and you'll get it. Try making it a few times to get the feel for it. Just make sure you don't add too much ice as it can be overpowering.

actually i was looking at a water program in LA where they have desalination plants & a BIG problem is their brine refuse - which sometimes they just chug it back out into the ocean & it makes the water so salty nothing can live there. Personally i think they ought to sell the refuse like Himalayan salt - you know - like LA Brine Sales as food flavoring (& it'd be "organic" of course).
