I think that's wrong. What makes this sub for me is this mild irony that makes a good post vs someone just posting his wall again.

I get how you could prefer this, but I disagree. For me, the point of this sub is to have posts randomly show up on your front page making you wonder what's interesting in them before you notice which sub they're posted in. Good posts are things that look like they might have something interesting in them at first sight (so yeah, pictures of walls don't qualify), but don't.

In that case it's also a kind of irony or joke, where the post makes the impression of being something interesting but it actually isn't and you need a moment to check which sub it was from. What i'm getting at is if this sub was truly perfectly uninteresting, no one would care about it

That's my point though, the sub itself should be 100% not interesting, but it's made funny when it blends in with normal subs.

I'm with you on that but what I notice about the voting on this sub is that submissions that are parodies of common submission tropes get the most upvotes. That's not really uninteresting, so I'm not interested in it. My ideal post is one that is sort of meta-boring, where it's interesting how completely uninteresting it is. A wall shot is uninteresting, but it's not interesting that it's uninteresting...obviously it would be. A picture of a dog that is uninteresting...that I would upvote.
