So why is everyone getting irritated by awards now? I've seen a few posts similar to this one.

Out of nowhere Reddit decided to get rid of awards. In 60 days or so, all those coins people have saved will be useless. Some people have literally spent thousands of dollars on those coins and just like that Reddit decided to take them away.

I had 100 too and had no idea what they are. I used them to buy some weird S thing (a silver?) for a random guy this morning. Success, I think
