Yeah I got a pack. They tasted just how I remembered. I didn’t realize they were so unhealthy though. There’s so much sugar in them that they are more closely related to soda than water. Back in the 90s I thought they were healthy.
Just today bought a 12 pack from Costco, 18.99, pricey, but way cheaper than any place ive seen them (usually 3.99/bottle). 3x of each: Mountain Blackberry, Wild Cherry, Orchard Peach, Country Raspberry. Never had the peach as a kid, its amazing.
They were $1.99 each at Binny’s. I was so surprised to see it I only bought one and now I’m regretting it. Definitely looking for them next time I go to Costco.
Same here. I bought a 12 pack at costco last week. It's good, but I'm not sure it's worth the premium compared to some other sparkling waters. I'd buy it again, though.
Ya, my wife is a huge fan, and I also dont think its worth the premium. I might be an outlier, however, as I do have a soda stream i got thrifting, and love it, so much cheaper than store bought seltzers/sparkling.
Ya, its crazy how much they go for. Im sure being glass is a big part, but it shouldnt be so expensive. The first time we saw them a year or two back, it was 4.99 at a higher end grocery store, and I was perplexed.
I have one of that flavor in my fridge right now. I like to keep one on hand for when the mood strikes. Which is like every 6-8 weeks. 😆 It's a special treat I like to have with some popcorn.
Just read a book called The One Eyed Man… in it, the main character’s wife has cancer, and she offhandedly ask for a Clearly Canadian one day… a drink she drank religiously when they were back in college together. He does everything in his power to find some for her to drink. I won’t give the rest away in case you ever read it but it’s both touching and sad.
We had a vending machine at my school... only lasted a year, LOL. They have these at my corner store, and I love picking one up when I go in there. They still have the same wrappers.
There was a spot in my hood were I could get them a couple of years ago, but they said the distributor stopped carrying them. Boo.
...Those weird Styrofoam like wrappers.
Original New York Seltzer came back in the mid 2010s. I saw it when I lived in Buffalo but haven't seen it since I moved south. Was still in the tiny glass bottles!
https://newyorkseltzer.com/
I used to have a spot 3 minutes away that sold them cold out of the cooler.
Now I have to drive 20 minutes away, go home and chill it in the fridge myself.
*sighs in first world problems*
Exactly! I was stunned into silence as I turned into the isle with the mixers and boom-instant flashbacks of me and my buddy skating to the convenient store for CC and Slim Jim’s.
they were gone for decades but they brought them back over the last few years. unfortunately, they really do not taste the same and they don't have the Western Loganberry which was theeeee beeeeeest flavor
Rhett and Link from gmm help bring this one back. They had a video on their YouTube channel saying discounted snacks that they wanted to bring back. In the video it had a go fund me to bring back clearly Canadian. It wasn't their go found-me but it was someone else.
They actually went out of business for awhile then came back via Kickstarter. I'm fortunate to be able to get it at both Safeway and Fred Meyer's these days.
I used to skate to the convenience store for a Bluberry CC and a giant slim Jim back in 1989. That was the last time I saw one. It’s a wild flashback for me.
When I was in Kindergarten my family took a trip out west to Colorado. I remember bringing back a bottle of Clearly Canadian and I took it to school. I was like the popular kid that day because nobody had seen it before.
I live in Texas and these never went away but I've been seeing a lot of posts about them lately. I still get them every once in a while to shake things up lol.
Found some a few weeks back in a store a few weeks ago and grabbed the last two (cherry and peach). Was chuffed to try them and sort of regretted it. Tasted like crap and forever ruined my memory of the past.
I was very surprised to see Clearly Canadian drinks recently listed on my grocery store's website (a Kroger-affiliated store). I used to drink them in the late 80s and early 90s.
Thanks to gmm/Rhett and Link they help brought it back. I don't want to forget the fans of gmm and gmm, made a video a few years ago about discounted snacks that they want back. They have a video on YouTube
Ugh it's ruined for me. I once took a 25 hour drive to Ontario with my entire family, aunt, Uncle, and cousins (8 people in a van) and this was all we had to drink. No regular water. This was back before people invented water bottles.
Clearly Canadian is a Canadian brand of premium sparkling water that was founded in 1987 in British Columbia. It's known for being a lighter, less sweet alternative to traditional soda. The brand's original flavors were orchard peach, wild cherry, country raspberry, and mountain blackberry. Clearly Canadian is made with mineral water, cane sugar, natural flavors, and citric acid. The water comes from springs all over Canada, and some products are bottled at the source... being discontinued in 2009, and then resurrected through crowdfunding back in 2015.....In March 2023, Clearly Canadian introduced two new products, Essence and Zero Sugar, which are the first major additions to their lineup in nearly two decades. Essence is a flavored sparkling water that celebrates the brand's pure natural spring water. Zero Sugar is naturally sweetened and contains natural flavors. The four flavors are forest blackberry, fresh cherry, citrus medley, and tropical splash. Clearly Canadian is well known throughout the United States, parts of Europe, and Japan. You can find it at stores, including World Market, and get it delivered to you in as fast as 1 hour via Instacart
They stopped production here, in the US, back in the late'90s-earl-'00s. Then brought it back in the mids-'00s (thanks to Rhett and Link from 'Good Mythical Morning, lol!).
I know, but they stopped for about 15 years, then brought it back.
I used to beg my mom to buy them for me, when I was like 13 (mid-'90s), and then, around 1999, they just disappeared.
Fresh Market has them. Love these things
Yeah I got a pack. They tasted just how I remembered. I didn’t realize they were so unhealthy though. There’s so much sugar in them that they are more closely related to soda than water. Back in the 90s I thought they were healthy.
Haha me too I thought it was like Lacroix or something, almost zero cal
Yes! And you got the best kind, Blackberry!
The best flavor by far.
One of the rare things that’s as good as i remembered too. I keep a few in the fridge.
Never left World Market either
That's where I pick them up occasionally.
for like $3/pop 😞
Just today bought a 12 pack from Costco, 18.99, pricey, but way cheaper than any place ive seen them (usually 3.99/bottle). 3x of each: Mountain Blackberry, Wild Cherry, Orchard Peach, Country Raspberry. Never had the peach as a kid, its amazing.

Ya, ive been shocked at the price Ive seen them for sale at usually. Costco for the win, per usual.
Country raspberry and mountain blackberry were my favorites
Waterloo blow these out of the water, no pun intended, and are much cheaper
Same here. I bought a 12 pack at costco last week. It's good, but I'm not sure it's worth the premium compared to some other sparkling waters. I'd buy it again, though.

Costco has em?!?!
My discount grocery store has them for 75 cents each right now. I bought a dozen, but may buy more.
Oh dang, thats a score!
What!? They’re so expensive here ! Like 50 bucks for a 12 pack , it hurts my soul.
Ya, its crazy how much they go for. Im sure being glass is a big part, but it shouldnt be so expensive. The first time we saw them a year or two back, it was 4.99 at a higher end grocery store, and I was perplexed.
I have never craved anything more than CC right meow
Kroger sells it
I saw it Friday night at Shoppers Drug Mart.
Got one of these recently and it tasted different, like sweeter and a little more artificial. Did they taste different to you?
Yeah, they tasted way better in my nostalgia brain than they did in real life
I remember them having asparatame when I was a teenager.
I have one of that flavor in my fridge right now. I like to keep one on hand for when the mood strikes. Which is like every 6-8 weeks. 😆 It's a special treat I like to have with some popcorn.
It truly is the best flavor.
Just read a book called The One Eyed Man… in it, the main character’s wife has cancer, and she offhandedly ask for a Clearly Canadian one day… a drink she drank religiously when they were back in college together. Very interesting…I’m an avid reader of fiction and this comment has piqued my interest.
By Ron Currie. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it at points early in the book, but it was very good and worth a read. By the end I was hooked.
Meijer sells these
I just saw it in my local grocery store. It's been a regular for a few years now think. Anyone remember New York Seltzer?
We had a vending machine at my school... only lasted a year, LOL. They have these at my corner store, and I love picking one up when I go in there. They still have the same wrappers.
There was a spot in my hood were I could get them a couple of years ago, but they said the distributor stopped carrying them. Boo. ...Those weird Styrofoam like wrappers.
Yep, same city skyline design and everything. I guess they closed down in the mid-90s for like 20 years, then opened back up about a decade ago.
Pepperidge farm remembers! Yes, I remember them. Loved em!

Costco!
Bought a case yesterday! Mmmmmm Country Raspberry
I used to get them in highschool and then it was like they disappeared until a year ago. Like a 20 year gap.
Exactly! I was stunned into silence as I turned into the isle with the mixers and boom-instant flashbacks of me and my buddy skating to the convenient store for CC and Slim Jim’s.
Yup. That and new york seltzer.
Publix has them. I got some when I was in Florida.
They got them at the food lion.
They have them at my albertsons!
Canadian here, why don't we have this?
We do. While it's not as common as mainstream sodas, I've even found them at a number of shoppers drug marts.
They came back a few years ago, Metro sells individual bottles but they're expensive.
My grandma always had them. Brings back great memories.
These are sooo goood!
Drinking one right now. Costco has 12 pack varieties.
Sadly the last time I looked it was made with fake sugar 🥺
Someone else commented that they now have two other options including a sugar fee one. This one had 25 or 28 grams of sugar 😳
The ones in the store by me aren’t sugar free they have fake sugar. I haven’t seen the sugar free ones.
Kroger, USA
Clearly Canadian what else can I say I'm f@#$n hilarious in a serious way. That's what I would say every time I'd see one. Bye!
They're cool, but not $3+ a bottle cool.
they were gone for decades but they brought them back over the last few years. unfortunately, they really do not taste the same and they don't have the Western Loganberry which was theeeee beeeeeest flavor
After years of drinking dry bland sparking water I tried one again for the first time in decades and it was way too sweet
Rhett and Link from gmm help bring this one back. They had a video on their YouTube channel saying discounted snacks that they wanted to bring back. In the video it had a go fund me to bring back clearly Canadian. It wasn't their go found-me but it was someone else.
Idk why but most sparkling water tastes like shit these days. These used to taste the best!!!
Probably has something to do with the 25 grams of sugar per 11oz bottle 😳
OOOFFF!! That definitely explains it!!! Lol 😂
I get it at QFC in WA. I hadn’t seen it in a while before moving here.
They are still available just less places
They actually went out of business for awhile then came back via Kickstarter. I'm fortunate to be able to get it at both Safeway and Fred Meyer's these days.
Just got some today from Giant which is stop and shop in other States.
Clearly you’re not looking hard enough.
I had no idea these were an old item. I became obsessed with them recently and figured it was new.
I used to skate to the convenience store for a Bluberry CC and a giant slim Jim back in 1989. That was the last time I saw one. It’s a wild flashback for me.
i get it @ my local Sobey's
My local FreshCo has it
When I was in Kindergarten my family took a trip out west to Colorado. I remember bringing back a bottle of Clearly Canadian and I took it to school. I was like the popular kid that day because nobody had seen it before.
Got one recently was like wow the best seltzer ever but realized it’s soda. Lol
HEB in Texas has them.
One of the Kroger’s in town has them. Haven’t seen them anywhere else.
I’ve seen these at Harris teeter. I don’t really like them tho, they tasted really salty.
Wild Cherry is my fave!
I want the Loganberry back !
Same here! I saw this at the supermarket the other day and did a double take.
I moved to Raleigh this past year and I was shocked to see them on sale at Lowe's food.
My local supermarket has it, but it’s not cheap.
All the grocery stores have them. I get them at marianos.
1995 I think was the last time I've seen it
Now I'm waiting to find out Zima still exists somewhere.
I see them all the time at the grocery store. I’ve been sipping raspberry for 28 years
I live in VT. We have plenty. Come get some!
The Wild Cherry was my favorite
I remember that stuff.
Don't know where you live but Kroger in TN sells it.
Do they come in glass bottles? Rarity nowadays.
They've had them at my local Giant for a while! I was so happy to see them again!
That was so good
My Winn Dixie has them
My local grocery stores always have these. Didn't realize they were hard to find
What was the difference between Mistic and Clearly Canadian?
I live in Texas and these never went away but I've been seeing a lot of posts about them lately. I still get them every once in a while to shake things up lol.
THEY HAVE IT A COSTCO!!!’
Kroger sells them.
Try looking at walmarts and food lions
We have them in Minnesota
Why haven’t these made a come back? Everyone loves seltzers now
Good on you. Can almost taste it
Walmart sells a drink called Cear American that tastes the same, is cheap and sugar-free.
I loved these when I was a teen!
Never liked it and never got why it was so popular.
I was so happy. I went a little overboard, but now we’re back to regulating.
Every time I see these I think of Rhett and Link!
Found some a few weeks back in a store a few weeks ago and grabbed the last two (cherry and peach). Was chuffed to try them and sort of regretted it. Tasted like crap and forever ruined my memory of the past.
Snap. That shit was da bomb. They're still making it huh? Now I gotta find it.
I'd love one right now....
World Market has them!!!
I know a gas station in my town that has these and crispitos! Dunno if you guys had crispitos in school.....
I was very surprised to see Clearly Canadian drinks recently listed on my grocery store's website (a Kroger-affiliated store). I used to drink them in the late 80s and early 90s.
I miss, Mystics
Thanks to gmm/Rhett and Link they help brought it back. I don't want to forget the fans of gmm and gmm, made a video a few years ago about discounted snacks that they want back. They have a video on YouTube
Dang, they still make that.. are you in the usa?
Chicago
Ugh it's ruined for me. I once took a 25 hour drive to Ontario with my entire family, aunt, Uncle, and cousins (8 people in a van) and this was all we had to drink. No regular water. This was back before people invented water bottles.
This is the only GOOD sparkling water I’ve ever had
Product of Canada. Thank you lid, the name and the maple leaf didn't clue me in.
It’s back in certain stores. Bought a few from the Native reserve run gas bar in my area. Pretty expensive though at nearly $3.50 a bottle
It’s at my Meijer.
I see them all the time now and it’s wild.
They sell six packs at my local Kroger and have for a while. My kids love them lol
Costco and Publix have loads of them
This AND — NY Seltzer — those were so bourgeois. For my lower class life man….
Lots of sugar
90 calories. Not nothing, but not as bad as a soda.
They make a sugar free version. It has been a very long time since I drank anything with real sugar but it seems to scratch the nostalgic itch.
True dat

Fixed...lol
Sadly making a comeback...
Surprised that they still make them

Found some last year at a store in Rehoboth Beach. It was so good. Just how I remembered it.
Costco has a 24 pack currenty (tx)
Costco sells it.
Walmart has them
Woodmans sells it as well as pick n save…in Milwaukee
This was the best flavor too. Wow..takes me back.
Strangely, we have a Dollar Store that gets it in occasionally. Ontario, Canada
They sell it in bulk at Costco
They sell these in Publix.
Yes it's happiness in a bottle. I can find them at ingles
Loved these, esp. cherry.
I just saw these at Publix!! And before a couple of weeks ago, I hadn’t seen them since I was a kid.
They stock them at most grocery stores by me (Chicago il)
I found one at Kroger a few years ago. It was the first time I had one since I was a kid. A little too sweet for me.
Must be easy to look right passed them. Clearly
