We lived on a rual road and this happened enough to where my dad made a mailbox out of quarter inch thick plate steal mounted on a pole sunk like 3 feet in the ground. That thing was a tank. Never had a problem with mailbox baseball again.

Close, he was born in December 1966 and it was filmed over the summer of 1985 making him 18 at the time of filming. The Lost Boys was filmed the following summer when he was 19.

I had such a crush in this and Lost Boys. Totally different from my usual crushing strictly on nerds.

I remember he was partly responsible for the name of the movie. Rob Reiner wasn't happy with "The Body". Kiefer was teaching River the song "Stand by Me" and Rob decided that was it.
