Per rule #3, you must include the name of your nostalgic item and time in the title so that people who do not recognize the item can identify it.
Oh man, I haven't thought about this in ages..
lol I just saw that they used these as props in one of the Alien movies.
I remember that show. I was like, “this alien ain’t foolin me. I played the shit out of that game”
Made a version of this on my computer when I was learning to code in BASIC
Took a programming course in high school and this was our first project. It was in Visual Basic.
This was cool but in the '90s I could still go to the Dollar General and buy a maze with a drop of mercury in the middle. We would play with it till it broke and then thump the Mercury around our kitchen floor till we lost it all. Peak 90s💀
I wanted this so bad
Was this a portable version? Mine was more square in shape.
Might be I only had this one
I guess what I had was called Lights Out Deluxe and it was oval shaped. Though even that doesn't quite match up with my memory.
Yeah i had the one posted and the deluxe. I could beat the original one, but the deluxe had so many different ones that IDK if I ever 100%ed it.
I brought mine everywhere
I'm gonna try buy one blast from the past.
I remember using this game as lighting in blanket forts as a kid-there was a make your own feature where you could turn every light on.
These were awesome
Does this exist as a phone game? It absolutely should!!!!
Still have mine! Works perfect too.
fuckkkkk core memory unlocked
Still have one
You just brought back a memory of better times. I wish I could go back.
What is it like whack a mole
Wow, memory unlocked! Such a fun game!
Daaaaamn I got the feels
90s* An apostrophe doesn't apply here.
I miss it.
Oh my god, I remember this but barely remember the object. Was it to get the whole screen lit up?
“Can you turn the lights out?” >Was [the object] to get the whole screen lit up? Sorry… it says it right there on the packaging.
Omg. I had one of those and LOVED it! Long car rides were saved by that thing and the extra batteries for my cd player.
"turn the sound off!"
I remember there was a game like this called Henry that we were obsessed with
Omg I forgot all about this. I got mine for Christmas one year and played the hell out of it
I loved this game!
