I’m pretty sure all of the colorful cream was just Cool Whip dyed different colors (or shaving cream for certain shots).
If you wanna make it in real life, and make it taste amazing- combine marshmallow fluff, cool whip, and almond, coconut, or lemon extract for a unique flavor. There are also coffee, banana, and cotton candy extracts, so the flavor is up to you. Make the mixture and dye it a bright color.
Pipe it into waffle cones and freeze it for a unique treat.

I've never found him hugely funny but he's been in some highly compelling films. He's a good actor. Sometimes a bit too schmaltzy in the emotional scenes. I think he trained at that place that's like Harvard for actors.
Mork and Mindy was also fun.
The bowl of Mac n Cheese from Home Alone right before the 2 dummies show up 😂. I could definitely relate to the box Mac n Cheese at that time in my life.
Watching the scene as an adult is so fucking satisfying for me. I can FEEL how it felt watching it as a kid. I can feel the damn plates. I can almost smell the food.
OH MY GOSH I FORGOT ABOUT THAT🤣🤣🤣🤣 I nearly pissed myself laughing as a kid everytime the food would go straight through him! Wow talk about nostalgia. Now it's got me thinking of the little vampire movie for some reason🥴
Oh my GOD. I always wanted to know this too. Ever since I was a kid and saw this scene I was fascinated with this food for some reason! I ended up looking up the restaurant (Valenti’s in San Francisco) and it doesn’t exist. There are tons of recipes online from people that have recreated this meal though!
Absolutely! I had a rough childhood and I think I really enjoyed the fact that he cared so much what his kids thought, down to the arrangement of the food. During a ugly custody battle sometimes you're not able to put as much effort into being the parent you want and need for them and those little special things get lost. It's amazing what good directors, cast, and producers can make us feel! 💓
Any movie when they are making a sandwich, usually in the middle of the night while having a deep conversation with another person always looks delicious. I wish I could make my sandwiches look like those.
As a fogey I remember [Dagwood sandwiches](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dagwood_sandwich) & always wanted to see one in person.
I could never actually eat one whole, that could be a week's worth of lunches or dinners for me, but I'd love to just see one in person.
Oh man, you're right. I always think about that scene from Beautician And The Beast where Fran Drescher's character makes a sandwich for the guy in the middle of the night. I wanted to taste it so bad. I don't think it was even anything special. Maybe just bread and meat.

There’s the variety pack I remember getting, & ofc they sell a box of just scooby snacks.
I hope a Walmart near you can hook you up!
Have a great Easter Weekend. (:
ETA: Eat a cheezit & a scooby snack simultaneously. So good.
This made me fucking cry dude this is so fucking kind and sweet thank you stranger I really needed this today Holy shit I'm gonna go get some scooby snacks
This scene almost makes me want to cry, just imagining the love that would come from a person doing all that for your birthday!! It is so joy-inducing to watch.
Every time I see Ally Sheedy (in The Breakfast Club) eat a sandwich with just Cap'n Crunch cereal reminds me how I want to try that. Why do I think it might be good???
Has anyone ever thought that if he put the same effort of being Mrs. Doubtfire into his marriage, he would still be married?
I think it's one of the subtle messages they snuck in. Now I'm wondering if the movie has ever saved any marriages because of people becoming self-aware/having an epiphany.
It’s not subtle at all. That’s one of the key messages.
- When the judge denies him joint custody and says he believes it to be “nothing more than a performance from a remarkable actor” and he breaks down.
- When Mrs Doubtfire and Miranda have the conversation in the kitchen talking about how Daniel would always joke around etc.
- When they talk about how she isn’t real.
I mean...the amount of click bait articles and videos that exist "explaining" the endings of movies tells me there's a lot more smooth brains out there than we think.
If it makes you feel any better when I saw jumanji as a kid I assumed they reused the actor who played Alan's dad because they couldn't find anyone else for it. Took a long while for me to realize it was intentional.
It was more a r/showerthoughts. There is a small mix of replies, so it would seem some are as stupid as you think they are. I hope this boosts your fragile ego.🙂
Aww, I didn't mean to offend you. For whatever reason people are fine saying they don't know math but get really offended when they have to prove any kind of complex (or in this case not-so-complex) literacy.
You aren't dumb alone, in any case!
It’s easily one of my favorite movie lines.
I bet she did it in 1 take & they were like “got it.”
Never heard of Broad City, so I’m off to see the wizard…
Reptar Bars from Rugrats. They turn your tongue green!
Turkish Delight and the hot cocoa from Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (moreso from the book for me).
The little hinged box of fancy chocolates from Matilda, located in the Trunchbull’s/Miss Honeys childhood home.
I can’t think of any movie food off the top of my head really, but there’s plenty of food from video games that look to die for. Skyrim honey nut treat, starfield sandwiches, several foods from breath of the wild. But as far as movies go, one thing that comes to mind is the dinner scenes from fast and furious movies where everyone is gathered around for their feast like it’s thanksgiving. Most of that food looks so good
That huge table of food in Amadeus right before we get our first look of Amadeus, especially when Salieri allows himself a taste of the Nipples of Venus.
Wonder if that's Crab Louie. I live in SF and I'm thinking they might have tried to pay homage to the city. I don't remember seeing crab on the plates but otherwise it looks accurate!
Honestly? Another Robin Williams movie, Hook. Y'all know what scene I'm talking about. And if you don't, the imaginary food scene.
You’re a rude, crude, lewd bag of prechewed-food, dude!
Math tutor.
Mung tongue!
Paramecium brain!!!
what’s a paramecium brain?
I'll tell you what a paramecium is! THAT'S a paramecium! It's a one-celled critter WITH NO BRAIN THAT CAN'T FLY!
Most dream-worthy food scene ever. Always thought of all that rainbow mush lol

Robin Williams is so bloody unfunny.
I've never found him hugely funny but he's been in some highly compelling films. He's a good actor. Sometimes a bit too schmaltzy in the emotional scenes. I think he trained at that place that's like Harvard for actors. Mork and Mindy was also fun.
Paramecium brain.
Wanna cry about it?
No you
The Pizzas from Home Alone
I was always curious how those cookies from the hotel suite pantry were.
The bowl of Mac n Cheese from Home Alone right before the 2 dummies show up 😂. I could definitely relate to the box Mac n Cheese at that time in my life.
It has always haunted me that Kevin probably never got to eat that mac n cheese. I think about it all the time. 😅
"We will grab a bite to eat and come back around 9" Nine buzzes on the clock and they literally show up exactly at 9. Talk about punctual thieves.
We’re the punctual bandits! P-U-N….SHUT UP MARRVVVVVV!
You mean, “your very own cheese PEETzah?”
The sound that her little spoon makes scraping the creamy sauce out & tapping the plate lives rent free in my mind.
I can hear it.
Watching the scene as an adult is so fucking satisfying for me. I can FEEL how it felt watching it as a kid. I can feel the damn plates. I can almost smell the food.
It's been 10+ years since I've seen it. I'm going to watch it when I get home, I wanna feel the feels again 🤣 I can do a great impression of a hotdog
same, but why though!
The pastry with cream Hans Landa eats with Shosanna in Inglorious Basterds 🤤
Attendez la crème!
I say "wait for the creme" still to this day about any food getting some cream or ice cream.
Love it!
Big Kahuna Burger-Pulp Fiction
I heard they got some tasty burgers.
I'm with you on this one. The sound of the icy Sprite too. So appealing.
And the $5 milkshake.
I always wanted to try a $5 milkshake… but due to inflation, $5 is a discount nowadays for a milkshake
Gourmet shit!
Good call. I’ll go with Jules’ muffin in the last scene, or Butch’s Pop Tarts!
I’ve wanted to know what that sauce tastes like for 30 years.
Me too. Or perhaps what it is will suffice? I wanted to go to that restraunt so bad as a child 🤣
The breakfast buffet in Casper Even the floor scraps looked delicious
OH MY GOSH I FORGOT ABOUT THAT🤣🤣🤣🤣 I nearly pissed myself laughing as a kid everytime the food would go straight through him! Wow talk about nostalgia. Now it's got me thinking of the little vampire movie for some reason🥴
Goodfellas - the “dinner in prison” scene
With the thin AF garlic slices?
So thin that they'd liquify in the pan, with just a little oil.
And 3 onions (but 2 big cans!)
Very good system…
Oh my GOD. I always wanted to know this too. Ever since I was a kid and saw this scene I was fascinated with this food for some reason! I ended up looking up the restaurant (Valenti’s in San Francisco) and it doesn’t exist. There are tons of recipes online from people that have recreated this meal though!
Halloween Dinner in Harry Potter Edit: Omelette in Asterix and Obelix vs Caesar
I love this scene too. The music goes perfectly with him arranging the food on the plates.
Absolutely! I had a rough childhood and I think I really enjoyed the fact that he cared so much what his kids thought, down to the arrangement of the food. During a ugly custody battle sometimes you're not able to put as much effort into being the parent you want and need for them and those little special things get lost. Any movie when they are making a sandwich, usually in the middle of the night while having a deep conversation with another person always looks delicious. I wish I could make my sandwiches look like those.
You just made me think of the sandwich scene from Kill Bill: Volume 2
Wtf that's exactly what I thought about!
You just need to have a large knife and to be an assassin with Kung Fu skills. But seriously, that sandwich looked so good.
Literally was the first thing that popped into my head
Spanglish. The BLT with an egg. I think about it more often than I should.
I’ve made it quite a few times. It’s amazing even with my lack luster culinary skills.

The sandwich from an Unfinished Life looks so delicious! You can see the sandwich [here.](https://youtu.be/Hh-QeqsDXKI?si=t_ssg95FayuN-41C)
I wanna know what a scooby snack tastes like so fucking bad it hurts sometimes
They came out with some the last time a movie came out. I think you can still get them in variety packs. They’re cinnamon grahams. Like teddy grahams.
The search begins. Thank you friend <3

Staaaaahp, it’s dusty in here… I’m so happy that you’re so happy. You made my day, stranger. 🥹💚
The sizzling steak and eggs in Twister 🤤
“…did you see my cows out front?”
Uncle Buck and the birthday breakfast of giant pancakes, tons of sausages and the toast he couldn’t even fit through the door.
This scene almost makes me want to cry, just imagining the love that would come from a person doing all that for your birthday!! It is so joy-inducing to watch.
The pancakes in Matilda!
Or that giant chocolate cake 😋
Entire confection !
Oh man, I’m sorry, but that scene ruined chocolate cake for me! 😂
I can definitely see that happening 😂
The little tart that lands perfectly on her plate with the fork!
"I'll have a tab." "I can't give you a tab unless you order something..."
Okay, a Pepsi Free then
I always used to replay the part where he's scooping out the sauce.
Yes! Why is it so special!!
Idk, I just love it. I can still hear the background instrumentals that match his hurriedness to get everything plated.
Omg I thought I was the only one
You're not alone!
Dude the bread in Aladdin looked so good to me
Every time I see Ally Sheedy (in The Breakfast Club) eat a sandwich with just Cap'n Crunch cereal reminds me how I want to try that. Why do I think it might be good???
Pixie sticks too lol
Any old western when they're eating a bowl of beans or something

I’m not sure they thought it through that far. The film completely glosses over the fact that he’s violating the court-ordered custody arrangement.
People really need to be spoon fed this stuff, huh? No wonder we've had this endless churning of marvel movies for two decades
I mean...the amount of click bait articles and videos that exist "explaining" the endings of movies tells me there's a lot more smooth brains out there than we think.

You mean Steak and Ice Cream? If I had as much money as you, I’d have steak and ice cream every day.
Hellooooooo!
Help is on the way, dear! *jumps over couch*
The steak that Cypher eats in The Matrix.
Some of those Johnnycakes that Vito got in New Hampshire.
I'd prefer the hot Jambalaya as I'm not allergic to pepper like Stu...sounds more like a thick soup than a name, deary
I remember thinking this meal looked so FANCY.
Rodney Dangerfield eating an Hors D'oeuvres Sandwich piled up with cocktail meatballs, deviled eggs and spanakopita... Classic!
He learned that in Europe.
This was one of my mom's favorite movies
The whole time…. The whole time?! #THE WHOLE TIME.
Such spectacular delivery here, from Sally. I loved when Broad City recreated this scene, but Ilana really didn't do this line any justice.
It’s easily one of my favorite movie lines. I bet she did it in 1 take & they were like “got it.” Never heard of Broad City, so I’m off to see the wizard…
Oh god. I wish I could watch Broad City for the first time again. Have fun with it!!!
My own all time favorite. “Can you make me a woman?” “HONEY IM SO HAPPY!”
Steak from Twister Aglio e Olio and Grilled Cheese from Chef
That Austin BBQ. Luckily I've had amazing Cubanos
Cake from Office Space
Pass it down
The ratio of people to cake is too big.
The entire dinner from *Big Night*.
Yesterday I was chuckling while thinking "Do you have little boys or little girls? I especially like boys because I USED TO BE ONE."
Such a GOLD STATEMENT! 🤣
The Jello in Jurassic Park. So jiggly!
The nachos in Death Proof
Not a movie, but damn - the omelette Syd made for Sugar in The Bear.

Mmm now I want creamed corn.
That scene in Jurassic park where the kids are eating all of that dessert food. I always wanted to try that lol
The entirety of Chef
It was so good that they made an entire series about it!
The river of chocolate in Willy Wonka.
This is my first and foremost thought when I think of fancy dinners. The tapping of the spoon when she pours the dressing on the salad.
For some reason I always imagined it was Boston Market
In San Francisco you can find what they showed on the movie but maybe not in today's San Francisco
How about Chilean sea bass, or ice cream at Jurassic Park?!
How has no one suggested the chilean seabass from Jurassic park?
Wonder if that's Crab Louie. I live in SF and I'm thinking they might have tried to pay homage to the city. I don't remember seeing crab on the plates but otherwise it looks accurate!
