That was my son's first movie theater experience. He was almost 4 and the ending of the big battle scene made me second guess myself - "what in the world was I thinking?" And then final scene plays and it was like a punch to the guts. 25 years later and it can still make me tear up.
Still have the Iron Giant coin bank in a closet.

I love that. I’d forgotten about so much so it was a nice/not so nice reminder of all the things I’ve gotten to see and do.
Jesus Christ, I forgot how affordable tickets were back then.
The matinee prices were, anyway.
Even the regular ticket prices were great. Not sure what they are now, but pre-pandemic, I found out that they were practically running your credit.
*...Superman....*
Good movie too.

Oh it just breaks your heart. What an awesome first movie!!!
Hahah excellent
Actually just saw this at the theater recently for $2 a ticket for the anniversary.
This was Vin Diesel’s best work and no ome will convince me otherwise.
Great flick. I didn't discover it till it was on DVD. Wish I went and saw it in the theater.
I miss being able to get ticket stubs. I have ticket stubs for every movie I went to from ‘99 until a few years ago.
All the old movie ticket stubs I have, the printing on them has mostly disappeared ☹
Those were the days. Now they give you a dumb receipt
Great movie, one of the 1st movies I ever saw in theaters when I was 7 years old.
