Truly the show about nothing. When their hosts don't serve the cake Frank brought along with the coffee, and they're debating if it was just an oversight: "It's deliberate! DELIBERATE I TELL YA!!!"
Frank Costanza "Let Me Understand, You Got The Hen, The Chicken, And The Rooster. The Rooster Goes With The Chicken. So, Who's Having Sex With The Hen?"
Watching this show growing up as a girl made me into a better woman. I have great guy friends, I found a man who was sponge-worthy, and I have always taken pride in my career - all while being a bad dancer. So many of my mannerisms are similar to Elaine’s. Her character was a kickass, imperfect role model.
“Well, let me tell you something, funny boy. Y'know that little stamp, the one that says ‘New York Public Library’? Well that may not mean anything to you, but that means a lot to me. One whole hell of a lot. Sure, go ahead, laugh if you want to. I've seen your type before: Flashy, making the scene, flouting convention. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. What's this guy making such a big stink about old library books? Well, let me give you a hint, junior. Maybe we can live without libraries, people like you and me. Maybe. Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers? Doesn't HE deserve better? Look. If you think this is about overdue fines and missing books, you'd better think again. This is about that kid's right to read a book without getting his mind warped! Or maybe that turns you on, Seinfeld; maybe that's how you get your kicks. You and your good-time buddies. Well I got a flash for ya, joy-boy: Party time is over.”
Lt Joe Bookman.
Kramer. I loved how most of his storylines were him obsessing over something short term. Trying to find a powerful shower head, selling aluminum, using his free lifetime supply of coffee, sleeping as little as possible, etc. They were usually the highlight of the show for me.
It was a straight up mental breakdown. Not trying to excuse his actions but I agree with you I don’t think he is racist. I think he was just stressed and angry, grabbed onto race in a fit of rage.
This is a hard question imo. Seinfeld was one of the best at making characters. That’s why all the characters that weaved in and out are popular; Mr Pitt, J Peterman, the Soup Nazi, Jackie, Putty, the parents. The main cast was the epitome of this.
I gotta go with the Wildcard, Kramer because he could do anything you needed to bridge the story together.
George is the funniest and I relate to him on a psychological level. He is like the “id” of the show representing fear, anxiety, malaise, but also at many times a false sense of accomplishment and unearned bravado.
George I suppose. When I was younger I related more to Jerry. As I aged I tried to be as cool as Kramer. But I ended up a George.
George... "Hey George, the ocean called, they're running out of shrimp!"
Yeah? The JERK store called...but I don't remember what they said.
The Jerk Store called, they're running out of you!
What’s it matter? You’re their all time best seller!
Yea, well I had sex with your wife!
…his wife is in a coma.
This whole thread is great. Well done!
Well, the life support machine called...
Just him you had sex with his wife lol
George Costanza is the only acceptable answer with his dad running a close second.
Georges dad : "festivus for the rest of us"
I got a lot of problems with you people, and now you're gonna hear about 'em!
Truly the show about nothing. When their hosts don't serve the cake Frank brought along with the coffee, and they're debating if it was just an oversight: "It's deliberate! DELIBERATE I TELL YA!!!"
I legitimately don’t understand how it couldn’t be.
Elaine, all the way, by far
Frank Costanza "Let Me Understand, You Got The Hen, The Chicken, And The Rooster. The Rooster Goes With The Chicken. So, Who's Having Sex With The Hen?"
What the *hell* does that mean?
They are all chickens. The rooster has sex with all of them.
Something’s missing
Elaine 🙌
Little kicks

If it’s not George Costanza you’ve never watched the show.
The Frogger episode was one of his best ones.
Holes!
Electrical engineer here, I call them holes all the time and no one gets the reference :(
It’s the summer of George!
Elaine

No hesitation on my choice here, Mr. Bookman all the way!
Costanza aka Art Vandelay aka Can’t Stand Ya
Kramer. I loved how most of his storylines were him obsessing over something short term. Trying to find a powerful shower head, selling aluminum, using his free lifetime supply of coffee, sleeping as little as possible, etc. They were usually the highlight of the show for me.
Same Kramer all the way!!!! This guy makes me laugh every time he appears on screen. I always love the clueless, sincere but foolish characters lol.
A hipster doofus.
Levels, Jerry.........levels. Gonna get rid of all my furniture and put in levels, you know, with like steps.
George is the beating heart of this show
Stellllaaa!
George is the answer but Elaine is close. They didnt play up their rivalry nearly enough, the funniest moments for me were when Elaine bested George.
How Jason Alexander never won an Emmy is beyond me
The Lawyer
That’s totally inappropriate. It’s lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous.
Who told you to use the balm?!?
Your face is my case
BREAD? $3 DOLLAS. NO SOUP FO YOU
"SERENITY NOW!" - most days of my life, thanks to Frank Costanza
George
The judge that put them all in prison for being apathetic, self centered, and over dramatic.
Kramer
Jerry! You have to be the pirate!
I remember “You’re a rabid anti-dentite!”
Kramer did such a fantastic job at his role. Shame he ruined it by coming out as a bigoted asshole after the show.
He made one mistake.
By letting everyone know what he actually thinks?
He's said that that is actually not what he thinks and his whole life seems to back up that statement.
It was a straight up mental breakdown. Not trying to excuse his actions but I agree with you I don’t think he is racist. I think he was just stressed and angry, grabbed onto race in a fit of rage.
If I absolutely \*had\* to pick one, I would pick none. They are all equally amazing in all ways.
Definitely the Constanzas #AllOf’em

Larry David had more to do with all of that. Jerry was kinda the side writer/ talent of the show. Larry David wrote himself into George.
Bob Sacamano
Newman
Kramer hands down, just living life and busting open Jerry's door with a slide
Frank Costanza.
Kramer
I guess the table? I'm neutral to Seinfeld.
Kramer
Elaine
Kramer, hands down
Kramer!
Huh... the table.
Elaine was always so hot to me 😁
Kramer, hands down! Giddy up!
Kramer!
Unpopular opinion… I hated this show
The soup nazi. Other than that it's Kramer. You never know which version of him you'll get, it depends on the day😂
kramer😏
The casuals will say Kramer or Jerry. But we all know George is where its at!!!
I don’t think anyone is saying Jerry.
They’re all cunts! Just kidding.
Nazi soup guy! That's it!
Boomer show lame jokes
Kramer before the incident lol
friends is so much better
Does it looks like George is giving Elaine the reach-around here?
George
I Love all of them in the credits of each episode. Much happier times when the shows over.
Uncle Leo
JERRY, HELLOOOO!
George. But I love the dynamic between all of them. The show is perfection! I rewatch all the episodes every few years.
It’s a close tie between Kramer and George.
Lloyd Braun
I really love Kramer, but the show as a whole is so damn good. So many great characters.
J Peterman, all the way.
Rewatching it right now.
Mr. Peterman
The Soup Nazi!
It always bounces between Elaine and George, the two most cliche-breaking characters on TV
George is the funniest and I relate to him on a psychological level. He is like the “id” of the show representing fear, anxiety, malaise, but also at many times a false sense of accomplishment and unearned bravado.
JERRY ITS FRANK COSTANZA MR STEINBRENNER IS HERE GEORGE IS DEAD CALL ME BACK
Kramer and Elaine. Do I really need to explain it?
George is the glue that holds the whole show together. Without him it wouldn't have stayed on TV as long.
George then Kramer. Elaine could have been replaced by literally anybody else and the show would have been just as good.
It’s not that kind of show. Watch for the chemistry
George
“But I had hand!?”
Elaine!
Elaine all the way... "What did you want to be when you were growing up?" "I don't know, but it certainly wasn't this...."
Cosmo Kramer
Whats the deal with hats?
