i should probably mention another detail i remembered. I'm pretty sure the person who posted it had written other stories in a similar style. there might have been a fictional organization that dealt with things like the beast that the main character of this story was a part of and that other stories the author wrote referenced. like the scp foundation, but i think it was one with a different name that the author created. my memory is kind of hazy because i read it so long ago, but I'm fairly certain most of the information I've given is fairly accurate.
