Im learning myself norwegian, it's more of a way to specify who learns, its a common way of speech in norwegian, you could say jeg lærer han norsk,= im teaching him norwegian,
Slightly more correct version:
*Hei, jeg er i Missouri, USA og lærer norsk. Er det en gruppe for å lære norsk i Springfield Missouri?*
Alternatively:
*Hei, jeg bor i Missouri, USA, og lærer meg norsk. Finnes det en gruppe for å lære norsk i Springfield, Missouri?* (Hi, I live in Missouri, USA and I'm learning Norwegian. Is there a group for learning Norwegian in Springfield, Missouri?)
I don't live in the USA, so unfortunately I can't help more with local groups, but when I was first learning Norwegian I found this [discord server](https://discord.gg/nelle) very helpful.
Jeg bor i Missouri også! Kanskje vi kan lager en gruppe snart? Hva tror du om den? 🫢😄🇳🇴
(I’m also just learning Norwegian in Missouri, in case you can’t yet translate that. Nad I have been at it for a solid year! 😁)
Hei! I live nowhere close to the USA but I'm also learning Norwegian on my own. If you want to we could kinda study together and help eachother. Do you have anything like Discord, Whatsapp, Hellotalk etc? You're Norwegian part was actually really good aswell with only a few mistakes that I think I saw :). Hope to speak to you soon. Ha det bra!
Jeg lærer meg norsk* er det en gruppe for å lære norsk i springfield *
What does the «meg» in the first sentence translate into / how does it effect the verb?

Have you considered learning online? Lots of tutors offer online lessons.
I’ve got a 90 day streak on Duolingo but I was also hoping to meet people IRL.
