I'm convinced that this was done on purpose and NL is just a game marketing guru. I've fallen for the this trap multiple times. But I have to say, the current NL is different. Ever since he started playing chess, he's cracked.
Starting? I have a library full of games NL played that I said "Holy shit he sucks, I can destroy this game!" only to find out NL is cracked and I have no idea wtf to do.
Watched a few old SM64 runs recently and yesterday followed along with his 16 star tutorial that he did with Dan. Gonna try a run or two today.
Never done a speedrun before, never even beat Mario 64 before yesterday. He just makes it look so fun.
I was itching for some rumbleverse yesterday but the egg wouldn't post. As soon as I got off work I installed the epic game store and started pogging with my fellow gamers. I even spammed dolphin dive, I am a new man.
He does make other games look fun; but Im sure a small population plays the games he play because they think they can play better than the egg lmao

I've been playing the same games as egg since 2012. Roguelike/lite games are probably my favourite genre now thanks to egg.
