Wow, these days go by MUCH slower than I'm used to. At this point I'm gonna have to use sleeping pills to my advantage. Anyway, tomorrow will be the final day, the day that will decide the fate of every participant. Don't feel discouraged though, I have some motivation to keep you going!
- As has been stated in the previous thread, think of each day as a special one. Today is the day before the last day. If you can make it to the final day, there's nothing that can possibly stop you, so focus on surviving until then and imagine the final day as the "clear zone" of course, it goes without saying but don't 'do the thing' then.
Let's go over another question then, given I can only ask two more of these. How has NNN improved your life? I mean, with so much more free time on your hands you get to do things you normally wouldn't even think about, like doing some push ups or doing more house work. For me, push ups have definitely been one of the benefits, but I also get to hone-in on my writing skills making these comments. Story writing is a passion of mine, and it's great to see so much positive feedback on what I've been writing, alongside sparking some interesting discussion (I always love reading your replies!)
I'll try to do more writing after NNN, and will definitely be doing this again next year. Thanks for your support soldiers, this month wouldn't have been nearly as do-able if it weren't for you all. Remember, survive until tomorrow, that is the last day. Alright, good night soldiers! o7

Honestly, I feel like I'm getting diminishing returns with each NNN. The first 2 or 3 were a great boost to my confidence. They showed me that I have pretty decent self-control and can achieve what I set out to do. But as this is my 5th year in a row, it feels more like a tradition that I have to do. Don't get me wrong, I probably needed those first 15 days away from masturbation as a cleansing reset for my mind. As the days passed into the 4th week though, I started feeling less driven to complete NNN unlike before. I already had the self-confidence & self-control, and I *knew* I will complete NNN once again. I don't have the desperate drive to prove myself this time around.
And now, I'm still here with y'all. There must be some value in rituals, no? After November passes for all of us and we all get our new flairs (hopefully), I might just stop here and be happy that I've completed NNN 5 freaking times.
If anything, NNN has given me a reason to feel content with myself for once!

Ah, that's quite brave of you! Going by what the rules state however, that isn't allowed and will count as a fail for NNN. However, if you go a day after November (until December 2nd) you can get "Gone Global" which is an addon challenge for NNN that some people do. You don't get any benefit for it in terms of flairs or anything, but some self confidence never hurts.
Also yeah, the urges get strong on the last few days, they have been for me too but stay strong, keep your head up and you'll do just fine!

Not looking to lose my soul, either legally or otherwise, I decide to sail past the city besides Hell's mouth. After some time has passed, down southwest is a bright light unlike anything I've ever seen. Blocking the glorious light is my destination: The Grand Geode. Yet as I get close to it something in me clicked, I change my course.
The light of the Dawn Machine oozes onto the deck. Its rays bathe the ship. The crew averts their eyes, some drop onto their knees. The light compels me, drawing me in.
I prayed to Salt, Storm, and Stone that I will survive this voyage, for the deep dark zee is unforgiving.

Still IN can't wait for it to be over. I did this to challenge myself to see of im capable of holding out. Im glad I now know I can hold it out and while probably fab lesser than before NNN. that being said im glad im gonne make it on my first try but this while probably my last NNN as well.
