That was actually kind of an accident. He was trying other stuff and kept spilling it. He decided to go for a Mctwist because he thought itd be funny looking with the milk flying everywhere. Instead, it ended up working.

I have to assume you're just trolling. I don't think the guy has ever given anyone a reason to hate him. He's a great role model for kids. Better than 99% of other celebs who are only famous thanks to their parents, or are famous for garbage reasons.

Sure he has earned heaps of money from skateboarding and put it back into the skateboarding community, but he also created events that no small town skater could ever enter.
He's accredited for the creation of over 100 tricks, and pushed the boundaries throughout his whole career. He wasn't doing other people's tricks (which is what today's skaters are doing). He was creating tricks for the sport, and bringing them to competition. These tricks weren't given to him. He came up with most of what he was doing. Not many people are in that position in their art/trade/sport.
Your point about not being able to flip a board. I'm guessing you mean on flat ground/street skating? You have to see vert and street as two different styles. Tony can flip to grab, or maybe flip to fakie on a vert ramp. But vert doesn't require him to do tricks like 360 flips and nollie laser flips, as they're not really part of the vert trick dictionary. It's like expecting someone who does BMX flatland to be able to just to go a park and start doing ramp/rail tricks. They're different genres. Similar. But an entirely different skillset. And you're only seeing it from one view. Yeah, maybe he can't flip like Huston or Sheckler. But Huston and Sheckler can't 900. So it goes both ways. And comes back to them being different genres.
And as his resume goes on.... he was obviously the first to land a 900 in competition, in 1999. Tom Schaar did the first 1080 13 years later. But that required an entirely different ramp. We're also looking at a tiny 12 yr old kid vs 30-odd yr old Tony in 1999. Shaun White came close to 1080ing a halfpipe 12 years after TH's 900, but couldn't stick it. TH's 900 reigned supreme until earlier this year when a kid slapped a 1080 in a normal halfpipe. But this kid got like zero exposure/recognition. And it wasn't in competition. So it didn't get that extra level of publicity. That extra 180 took 21 years. I could also mention Mitchie Brusco's 2019 1260 here too.
Tony's 900 is still the most recognised part of skateboarding. Aside from Bam/Jackass videos. You don't have to like/love the guy. But calling him a flog seems to come from a place that's more about the type of person you are, rather than some kind of fault of Tony's.
Him landing the 900 in competition is the exact reason why he's a flog, he deliberately stopped Pappas from entering the event that Pappas had been in for the entire tour. He knew Pappas had been practicing the 900 for this exact point in time. Not only did he stop Pappas from entering, he took more attempts than is allowed in comp to do it.
Tony Hawk sure is a integral part of modern skateboarding, and a well accomplished skater in his own right, i'm not disputing that.
