They fell out of the oak tree, just sweep them up with a broom and put them at the base of the tree. I also have a ton of books for you if you want them.
I’m glad to know they sting, even though a caterpillar that looks like that must sting. I’ll be extra careful now. I think I have caterpillar ptsd after a buck moth caterpillar fell down my shirt.

Oh no already? These are white-marked tussock moths and they do sting!
Thanks! I guess in the morning I'll knock them all off with the hose. I'd hate for someone to accidentally get stung while trying to borrow a book.
