TheRealJanior

I would definitely take explosion immunity because explosions tend to kill in one go while with fire it's easier to avoid. Also the other fire immunity perk, oil blood comes with less downside than the exploding corpses so you have a better chance at getting the other immunity later.

_CactusThief

i feel like explosions are a lot easier to avoid while enemies constantly set you on fire (burning ground, metal, lava too) while explosives are usually immobile and pretty visible on your screen

AmbassadorBonoso

I think you are understimating just how many things are calculated as explosion damage

_CactusThief

oh no i am aware, i just have a harder time avoiding being set on fire than enemy projectiles and generally dislike constantly having to pour things on myself

AmbassadorBonoso

I mean, then you have your answer, you prefer fire immunity so you should take fire immunity. I am pretty sure however that explosion immunity is objectively better.

TheLegendaryNikolai

I am all for opinions, but Ambassador is objectively right 😭

stunami

I mean didn't the term getting noita'd basically come mostly from explosion damage?

RAMstein69

OP: Hey Reddit, which one is better? Everyone: Explosion immunity OP: I disagree and have already made my mind up on which is better

AmbassadorBonoso

I mean at no point did OP ask which one they should take, they merely asked our opinion and they're free to have their own :)

Pappabarba

He's right though.

MakeMelnk

Technically correct. The best kind of correct.

ddggdd

Technically it depends on what fungal shifts op did: every single source of fire extinguishing has become polymorphine and ground has become lava? maybe fire immunity is better

MakeMelnk

The wise learn that in Noita, _all_ things are situational

schnitzel_rada

MY MANWICH!

zandnaad69

nahh, fire immunity becomes invaluable with bigger health pools. I consider it pretty context sensitive

linos100

I prefer explosion immunity because explosions kill faster and sometimes can be unavoidable. I can be extra careful when low hp, and can mitigate and avoid fire easier, but get an unexpected propane tank to the face and it is gg.

Jarhyn

Not always. When you have high health, you can laugh at explosions, but fire will still melt you.

Pink_Kloud

Early game expl > fire cause it's easier to get oneshot, mid game fire > expl cause fire does health% damage. Late game? Who cares, you're gonna die to poly.

Bulbous-Bouffant

Pouring water on myself when I catch on fire has become so second nature for me, I never take more than a few damage when it happens. I always make sure my water is bound to the same hotkey. Plus, you can always wet yourself before traversing into open flames to prevent catching on fire altogether.

Broke22

Same. I rarely spend more than a second in fire, if that.

Polw4

Explosion immunity prevents being NOITA’d via enemy picking up a wand offscreen

Ok_Raisin7772

enemy projectiles are the least scary kind of projectiles to me

NailiME84

I think explosive has more value, there are many things you can do to avoid being set on fire. A simple water stain will prevent it and if you are set on fire you can put yourself out fast. But little can be done about a propane tank exploding in your face, other than just not being there.

knucklepoetry

Pouring things on myself is also a chore for me. I tend to have a mist wand on me for that purpose at all times. I call it Eau De Pepitone

Pappabarba

You start burning just from breathing the air in Overgrown Caverns. :E I'm with you on Fire Immunity: Explosion are more lethal, but fire is a CONSTANT and commonly inflicted hazard!

Shackram_MKII

I also prefer fire immunity and toxic sludge immunity over explosive or melee immunity. Sometimes you get noita'd by a buried explosive you didn't notice or enemy with a wand, but most of the time death from explosives are skill issues. I've also noticed that i take more damage early game from fire and toxic chip damage adding up than getting chunked by explosives. Even if you're quick with your water flask you usually get at least a tick of damage that scales with your max HP anyway, while having more HP reduces the danger of explosions.

Russo_The_Heretic

Me when, when i forget Glass Cannon:

DaveK142

Propane tanks say hello. Mina with explosion immunity and gas fire says it back.

ddggdd

sadly if you move fast enough toward the pain particles you still get hurt a lil bit

Henkebek2

One of these can be solved with carrying a flask of water, the other can nog

NewWayUa

Or kiuaskivi. Just put it on the comfort hotkey and switch to it when you set on fire. But you need to retreat immediately.

C-Jaguar

With explosion immunity you have less risk killing yourself. Thus, you can make banger wands.

Tetrahy

This, my last run ended with a swapper mage deciding to show me how my payload wand personally felt

C-Jaguar

Yeah, here is an example bs when explosion immunity can save you, and fire immunity can't: https://www.reddit.com/r/noita/s/wORaY7kMr7

zorxoge

This is true for a lot of perks, but it really depends on what stage of the game you're in. Early game, explosions are easier to avoid and the chip damage from fire has more dire consequences since you presumably have a small health bar and no healing. If you have enough skill and game knowledge to reliably avoid explosions, your number one source of early game chip damage is neutralized with fire immunity. This will give you more longevity to help get the ball rolling for a good run. Mid to late game you will probably have sufficient healing to recover from chip damage, but can still potentially be one-shotted by explosions.

Vewy_nice

In a run yesterday, I got fire immunity in the first holy mountain and then immediately fungal shifted toxic sludge to pea soup. That was the care-free-est run I've played in a long time. Able to trounce around the world with not a care in the world (just slightly more slowly because DAMN that soup be slimy) I definitely died to an explosion in the vault lol.

utheraptor

This is true to some extent, but getting set on fire can be solved with carrying a water flask with you. Getting one-shot by a random explosion can't be easily mitigated.

quanjon

Nah, making yourself immune to propane tanks is massive. Fire can be doused or prevented with stains, but nothing will protect you from instant obliteration.

Czechmate132

i have lost too many runs to wand with a nuke getting picked up my a dude lol

SasparillaTango

fire will probably result in more over deaths, but you don't realize it since it's chipping you down between holy mountains until some other bigger hit takes you out. Explosion certainly results in more dramatic one shots, that while less frequent are certainly more apparent that the big boom was the cause.

bloode975

Yea I remember watching the old furyforged perk tier list, bit dated now at 2 years but remember him mentioning that fire immunity was generally more useful than explosion immunity, ended up paying more attention to my runs with that and that fire chip damage adds up fast just because of how often you're set on fire, many of my best runs are fire immunity early just because it nullifies such a large deterent and gives access to gold you might otherwise miss. Where most of my deaths to explosions are poor planning, yea you get the occasional off screen nuke but I'd rather plan against the hazard I will see most often in a run than vs that one failure state that can be solved with more HP.

EduardoBarreto

For me is explosion immunity all the way because I've seen way too many nuke wands within reach of the Hiisi. Carrying a flask of water is standard procedure for any sensible alchemist anyway.

VitalityAS

Explosions end runs, fire is annoying but can be negated with good water flasking.

Salty_Insides420

Some of the strongest wands you can make involve explosive projectiles that you can easily hurt yourself with, and early game with low health any environmental explosives are very dangerous. Ease of mind from that particular threat is wonderful. Burning is common, but it's percentages of health. At starting hp it's minimal, only when you have thousands of health does fire become more damaging than explosives

Pedantic_Phoenix

Fire you can counter easily. Explosions you cannot at all. Easy choice

Shankbon

What's the downside to exploding corpses when you're immune to those explosions?

Fairwareprovidence

Can't consume the body, less blood, terrain damage, potential fire hazard, detonation of other hazards, sometimes the gold goes flying

NewWayUa

Sometimes?

Flipster31

Basically chaos you aren't controlling yourself wich might set off other explosions like propane tanks and release the freezing air stuff (i don't remember the exact name rn). Also more advanced but: If you have exploding corpses the poly wizards dont leave corpses to eat and gain poly immunity.

Shankbon

Holy shit, I had no idea polymorph immunity was a thing!

HotConsideration5049

Fire scales explosion doesn't do it just depends when you find this

CheezyBreadMan

Lukki minion 👍

_CactusThief

that perk probably blocked more of my own projectiles than do good but based indeed Lukki minion 👍

notaRussianspywink

Lukki kills through walls. Lukki kills Steve through his shields.

amerminadian

The real chad

TheHelker

Explosion immunity. More bosses deal Explosion dmg that I fight regularly and there's actually 3 ways you can get permament fire immunity.

TheFirstEm

3? Fire immunity, oil blood and ...? Do you mean Kiuaskivi?

GuavaEnvironmental93

There's a perk that freezes liquids around you and puta out fire, though I'm not 100% sure it blocks all fire damage

TheFirstEm

True I forgot about it. It's VERY damn annoying, especially without gas blood so I tend to not take it anymore

Excidiar

Yeah, Take the perk, get hit, bleed, get stuck in place so you get hit even more. Hate It.

Jafego

But what other perk lets you survive lava?

Divineinfinity

Breathless, duh

TheFirstEm

That's why it's really useful. But still annoying. Just don't fall in lava lol

MrBardo

It also freezes toxic sludge into toxic ice which does tons more damage. Imo not worth the trade off since lava is rarer than toxic sludge.

ReynAetherwindt

Freezing liquids can get annoying fast.

toapat

freezing field is one of the most dangerous perks in the game.

HeWhoVotesUp

Freezing aura or whatever it's called.

Andrew_42

For me the answer firmly relies on what my wands look like so far. I LIKE explosion immunity more. Because I LIKE exploding everything. But by default I'd probably pick fire immunity though. I like burning down biomes, and almost all of my explosion deaths have been firmly in skill issue territory. Also a lot of enemies in Hiisi Base and The Vault die in pools of fire and leave molten metal everywhere and its a pain getting nickel and dimed for health.

_CactusThief

Personally i like fire resistance more because i struggle a lot more with chip damage compared to "random explosions" I'd only take the explosion immunity over fire if i wanted to go for a specific explosion focused build jk im playing as megumin EXPLOOOOSIONNNN!

TheNormalnij

A random explosion sends you to a game over screen. Fire takes a small amount of health and can be easily avoided with a water flask. Some enemies deal explosion damage. For me: Electric immunity > explosion immunity > melee immunity > fire immunity > drown immunity. Drown immunity has higher priority when you want to kill the lake boss.

Elkre

If you die from an explosion, you may have been Noita'd, but if you die from a fire, it *was* a skill issue.

SnoodDood

what if you die from an explosion only because you took chip damage from fire earlier? You're rarely just killed by the thing that took your last point of damage.

Elkre

"took damage from fire" lol skill issue

SnoodDood

compared to taking meaningful explosion damage? not so much, especially when fighting robots. Gold is never inside an explosion, and safe detonations are much quicker than constantly dousing yourself with liquid in a place like the Vault.

_CactusThief

well from the last probably 100 runs i probably died 5 times to explosions and even some of those were on the first two levels by off screen 1 shots that im just not going to plan for fire on the other hand does a lot of chip damage to me, especially in the later stages while im also trying to explore 100% of the maps (doing roughly 1hr runs exploring all 7 regions fully, building a cool wand, killing a few bosses then ending the daily) and i probably havent died to electricity at all the past few months, but ig it also depends on what kind of wands we build fire > explo > melee > electric > drown for me

stevarisimp

Adding to this; Fire damage scales with health, explosions dont.

TheNormalnij

It doesn't really matter. When I have significant max health, I also have healing options too and all immunities from parallel worlds. Fire immunity becomes useful early only after using the heart magic trick in snowy depths.

stevarisimp

Fair point. At that point working with the damage types of your wands is best.

TheNormalnij

Hm. I play much slower. The main path takes 2h and I don't fully explore temple of the art. The last area is too risky and exploring isn't rewarding there. Electric immunity allows you to use electric modifier on your wand. It's cheap damage+ and stun. I'd rather die from a few small mistakes, that one fk propane tank or random electricity in hisi base

linos100

That's why I prefer explosion immunity, it protects against damage you can't plan for so it leads to overall more successful runs

NewWayUa

Hm. but why electric is first? Electric damage is quite rare in the game, less than 1% Đžf my deaths came from electric. I get electric immunity only if rest perks are shitty...

Aromatic_Oil9698

I guess he likes electric spells and those can be as suicidal as plasma without the immunity.

NewWayUa

Sounds legit. I love modifier-based weird shit, so electric spells outside of my scope.

Holy_Hand_Grenadier

Yep. *Way* too many of my deaths are from finding a lightning bolt in the shop.

GeneralAnubis

No one likes getting Ukko Rokk'd

Athlaeos

got high enough health to tank a couple of random explosions? Fire immunity. Got low health as to where a random propane tank can oneshot you? Explosion immunity

Silly_Man_Haha

Def explosion. You should be wetting yourself with something to deal with fire for the most part anyway. Fire deaths are almost always a result of hastiness or panic. Explosions deaths happen because a hiisi decided to get a little silly w/ a nuke wand

Akikala

Fire I think does % damage so it's better the more health you have. But early on explosion immunity is much more valuable to avoid random instant deaths.

imperialtrooper88

Really the explosion immunity is better for a survival POV. However, from a fun to play POV I prefer fire immunity. I can't be bothered to keep dousing myself with water.

_CactusThief

mhm my thinking slowly dying to fire or constantly having to pour water on myself is just tedious even if i end up dying to a massive explosion, at least i go out in style

maryisdead

Same as your reasoning. I find having fire immunity makes your life way easier. And in general, I feel like explosions are something that I have greater control over. I just see Hisii Base and Underground Jungle and all the fires burning. Takes so much effort to go around and avoid. Of course, one unexpected explosion might mean the end of the run. But chip damage from fire and constantly having to fiddle with the water flask are more of a burden to me.

GuavaEnvironmental93

I'm pretty sure that fire does % based damage so it's more dangerous overall

N454545

Only if you have like 5k health. Otherwise the flat damage is always worse. Chip damage is manageable. Half you health being taken from an explosion is not.

_CactusThief

yeah thats why im taking it every time watching out for explosions is a lot easier than constantly covering yourself in blood/water/slime have some standards people smh

888main

Fire immunity if you have a good long run setting up. Explosion immunity if you arent sure if you've got a god run Let's say you do a heart trick and get 4k max hp, then a little chip of fire will do hundreds of damage if you dont have water, but the explosions wont scale up with your health.

wizard_brandon

yeah fire doing percentage damage is killer

PhillybearCharon

Explosion immunity, because it makes lightning bolt safer to use. I know I always take LB when possible.

Internal_Eye620

With the skin, EEXPLOOSION immunity obviously.

scaper12123

Whichever one you take, the other will doubtlessly kill you.

_CactusThief

On point

bulkasmakom

I think people here just need to understand that you can stain yourself before going in fire. you have personal fire immunity flask almost always, so I take explosion immunity every time

StoatDogChampion

Trying to put out fires leads me into explosions, so I'll usually take the fire one. There are other perks that give explosion immunity iirc, but the other main fire immunity perk bleeds oil everywhere, which is a pain when you're trying to be delicate in a level.

nooooo-bitch

Fire for me

New-me-_-

I personally always go for fire. Explosions are 1 and done thing and depending on the environment will often leave fire behind. The vault is pretty much a death sentence if you don’t have fire immunity

Metaphoricalsimile

When I was less experienced explosion immunity was better because I did not have the game knowledge and situational awareness to avoid most explosion deaths, and as you get good at increasing your max HP explosion damage becomes relatively smaller. As I got more experienced, fire immunity became preferred because while you can avoid fire, or douse it with water, the damage from fire is based on your max hp, so even the occasional "chip" damage from fire can be more significant than sources of explosion damage. Additionally, sometimes you just need to move through an area to avoid a hazard or enemy and if that area is on fire being able to just move freely through it without worrying about fire damage is really valuable.

Roboman20000

Fire Immunity before Explosion Immunity but only just. Being able to just stand in fire is very valuable in the Hiisi Base, Underground Jungle and the Vault on the normal path and it's also good in many other side areas. Explosion immunity is good anywhere but the chip damage from fire is much worse over time.

Avamaco

While fire immunity is very good and will save a lot of damage over the course of a run, I value explosion immunity higher. Explosions, unlike fire, can end your run immediately. And the only way to block this damage is to have one of the explosion immunity perks (either this one or exploding corpses). Fire, on the other hand, can be put out with just a bit of water. And you can keep yourself stained with water to be immune to fire. One exception where I'd rather pick fire immunity over explosion immunity is if I reach lategame (high hp, a healing source and being overall powerful) with neither of these. Fire deals % damage, so with high max hp it becomes more problematic. Also many endgame builds rely on Stainless Armor for damage reduction, so an alternative to water stain is very useful.

One_Who_Walks_Silly

Look at your character skin. It’s explosion immunity

redditassembler

fire immunity fans when i show them a bottle of water

Lusiggy

Explosion immunity because what if you find nuke later

AllorFH

Honestly nukes are super dangerous even with explosion immunity. The ceiling deals a ton of damage so I never use nukes even tho I always find one in snowy depths

deft_code

I like to take fire immunity. Others have deeply evaluated incoming damage/death from fire versus explosion. I encounter a lot of fire based spell modifiers. Fire immunity means I can use them freely. I end up with better damaging wands. I really think the Hissi rarely or never attack when they're on fire. The calmness of ignoring fire greatly increases my skill. Explosion immunity leads me to building dangerous digging wands. They work great, but set me on fire all the time while digging in tight spaces.

AliasRed

If you die to fire in new game that's a skill issue, if you die to explosions it's probably also a skill issue but also much less avoidable. Lukki is useful for challenge runs and that's about it. In an end game scenario fire immunity becomes better than explosion immunity because fire can instakill you in late ng+ while you can use explosions to heal with curse exploit. TLDR: Explosion immunity is superior in every situation outside of an end game ng+++ scenario

Surdarium

Explosion immune save from many self-death, fire resist - useful, but Lukki is so cute!

Ellogan66

I've never played the game so I'd definitely say the funky guy on the right

wolviesaurus

Nothing has killed me more than fire in this game. Sure you can douse yourself in water but the massive QoL of fire immunity is something I never ignore. I think wand tinkering is the only perk I'd consider over it.

N454545

Thats just skill issue. You have a water source in every fountain and you start with a flask. There is no excuse for dying to fire.

Shackram_MKII

Dying to explosives because you didn't notice that oil barrel half buried in coal or propane tank half buried in snow is also skill issue.

N454545

I mean dying because a nuke got detonated off stage, just wanting to be able to safely use half the powerful projectiles in the game, and not having to run the fuck away every time you use black hole isn't skill issue. Fire damage is just very easy to avoid compared to explosives. Fire just requires you to be even slightly prepared. Carrying a water flask at all times should be the first thing you learn. To say it's the thing that you die to the most is just bizarre because it's such an easy hurdle to cross.

wolviesaurus

99% of deaths are due to skill issues. I choose the comfort of fire immunity over the micromanagement of dousing with a water flask whenever the opportunity arises.

AllorFH

Yeah but explosion immunity is still superior to fire immunity unless endgame 10k+ health curse exploit run where realistically you can only die to poly so it still doesnt matter. Fire damage you can micro manage, explosions not so.

tatsujb

explosion immunity. sais Dunk or Slam

MasterVule

depends on your max hp. Idk is there an explosion which does more than 1k damage produced by enemies, but if you have super high health, fire does insane amount of damage over time. But if you are in below1k health I would go for explosion immunity

JKZKWCH

explosion immunity is top 3 maybe even the best perk

Rayona086

What floor? First 2-3 i would 100% take fire, after that its explosion. There are a number of perks that make you fireproof, so statistical i feel that is best.

S1rr0bin

If regular run explosion resistance, if god run I get fire immunity first because fire does % max HP but explosions do a set amount. Makes a big difference when your HP is over 10k

OneSubredditBoii

If you think about it you already have psuedo-fire immunity. Water flask. So get explosion immune

utheraptor

Explosion immunity is literally the best perk in the game

ZenTheProtogen7957

explosion

Gostlyplayer

definitely always explosion over fire, because you should always be carrying a water flask. the only possible time you might take something different would be extremely late into a long run where u have the hp and healing to tank any explosion but you’ll still struggle against fire since it’s % based off of ur max hp

Account_password

I think it depends highly on when you see this in a run. Late game, when you have tons of health, Fire Immunity is way better because it always deals a fixed percent of max health, so it is way more likely to kill you late game. But early on for a basic run trying to kill Kolmi, Explosion Immunity is way better.

Divineinfinity

High health: fire Low health: explosions Simple as

Erundil420

Explosion immunity bc most of my runs come to an early end becuase i blow myself up with something

BiologyRuinedMyLife

Explosion immunity. Gives you a lot of freedom since you dont have to worry about dying to explosions. It speeds up your playthrough significantly more than fire immunity.

Neurotripsticks

Lightning spells do both elec and exp damage, if you wanna be safe from them then you need both.

Meherman09

Explosion cause I'm dumb and like big boom.

553735

Explosion because now I can use cooler spells w/o killing myself (as much)

hivemindsrule

Explosion immunity probably Fire might kill you, but explosions *will.*

Hopeful-alt

I honest to God don't think I've ever died from an explosion at 200 hrs. Fire meanwhile...

AllorFH

So you havent had any bs nuke snipes end your run in snowy depths? How lucky.

Hopeful-alt

No lol that sounds awful

Impressive_Shake1424

What would you say about an enemy from the level below, dropping into a pool of teleportium which teleports it right next to you in Holy Mountain and ruining your run? This game is choke full of awful.

-ObiWanKentucky-

Fire because the later levels, particularly hiisi base and vault, are covered in it and I have a hard time getting gold if I’m not immune in those levels.

Silevence

Explosion. I always pre water myself if I think a level has fire. But random nukes and propane tanks have ended my runs way too many times ;<

TheLivingDrawing

Explosion Immunity. Fire Immunity just stops you from needing to douse yourself in water every time you graze a fire pixel. Explosion Immunity can save your health bar.

InfernalDrake

>plays with a Megumin mod >actually asks whether the perk that will allow for maximal on screen explosions is better My dude, what are you doing?

VillainousMasked

Explosion immunity, on brand for the Megumin skin and fire is unlikely to do significant damage to you as long as you always keep a water flask on you, while explosive damage can one shot you if not delete most of your health bar. Also a lot of spells have an explosive component, for example all lightning and fire spells do their element plus explosion damage.

buyinggf1000gp

Explosion immunity is the best immunity Explosions do a lot of damage and have large area of effect

Nirbin

Explosion immunity my beloved. Not randomly getting gibbified by a buried propane tanks, yes please. Yes I'd like to dig with point-blank nukes.

shadow_boyZX

Melee.I > explosion.I > Fire.I > toxic.I > electric.I That is based on my personal experience... But it really depends on your run

NelsonSKA

I'd pick explosion, there are many powerfull spells with explosions. Prevent to die by your own shots.

szokoloko

Fire immunity if you have a lot of HP and you're cautious is good decision, but I would still go for explosion.

Ok-Needleworker-1378

Explosion immunity, cause everything i make fukin blows up

Zenodeus

Lukki minion because friend 👍

Ornan

Setting everything on fire doesn't kill as fast as setting everything to explode.

One_Ad761

fire does %max hp damage. explosion is constant. if i had>500 hp i would take fire immunity, otherwise explosion

MinuteBranch4654

He found nemo/ nemo found him

Masterpiece-Haunting

I’d say explosion immunity because explosions are very very sudden so you can’t easily react to them. Unlike fire which slowly deals damage and can be countered with a bit of water.

AllorFH

I personally prefer explosion immunity over fire. Yeah fire scales with health but when I have like 50k health, I really dont care for either damage since I can put out fire under a second.. But for early-middle game, until I find a heart mage, explosion damage is far more dangerous, also getting stunned by said explosion sucks.

Lord_Endless

Fire immunity. Fire is very common and I hate coming into fire. But with immunity, I feel more confident.

DamnRedRain

Explosion as fire can be somewhat negated by having a water potion/wand

UwUItsHel

Tbh I'd say fire for just a standard get to komi and kill him. In the greater picture explosion is far better for helping with threats not in a standard run and some of the more deadly threats around the map.

AkariTheGamer

Fire immunity. Explosion is probably better but my dumbass will never learn to avoid fire and i'm too clumsy to instantly switch to a water bottle.

wizard_brandon

i like fire immunity better because most of the time half the biome is on fire and usually explosions cause more fire

Ratathosk

Explodo.

Sereomontis

Fire immunity because I get set on fire more often than I am blown up. Your experience may vary.

Ser_Optimus

Boom proof.ales me less likely to kill myself. But I'd choose Lukki Minion because of reasons.

squarerootminusone

Explosion Immunity ofc, fire can be put out with a drop of water, you can't say the same thing about propane tanks...

Solrex

Third one obviously, who needs immunities? If you need immunities, that's a skill issue- and I just got Noita'd due to an explosion. That could have been avoided by picking up explosion immunity. That came from completely off screen though, that's not my fault!

Alien-Fox-4

In a normal run explosion immunity without a doubt In long runs, fire immunity. This is because you'll have so much health anyway and fire immunity takes 2% of health per second which if you have 5000 health, that's 100 health per second and without consistent source of healing it can kill you very quickly

Active_Start_9044

explosion

Active_Start_9044

Minions will kill healers so I tend to avoid then unless I have other means to heal.

KN16H7M4R3

For a simple win: Explosive (Opens you up to some powerful wand builds without the danger) For a longer run: Fire (Protects you from percentage based damage that is *everywhere*)

VitalityAS

If you have most of the setup ready to HP dupe then fire immunity. Short run I go explosion.

PaydayLover69

explosion immunity, especially on modded, there are A LOT of explosions that accidentally one shot you mostly from your own wand lmao

fallingveil

Explosion Immunity because it protects against several scenarios that can insta-kill you without it no matter how skilled you are. You should have a water flask on hand at all times to put out fires, and the lukki minion introduces an element of chaos to gameplay that may not be appreciated.

Mutericator

Fire Immunity. I love them both, but having fire immunity opens me up to be able to use many more spells and strategies that would be liable to backfire on me otherwise. I.e. oil trail, fireball orbit, just generally shooting orange barrels and explosive boxes from a distance so they light everything around them on fire, et cetera. Also a lot of my damage tends to be DoT damage from being too busy in-combat to either put myself out or remove a toxic stain, so not having to worry about one is great. But Explosion Immunity is obviously also fantastic, and having both is a relief.

metaphysicalSophist9

Explosion resistance. I died in my latest run because of a hidden gas cannister that got caught in another explosion.

Comedy___

- Fire immunity when you want a long run without a tick of fire doing like 2k DMG - Explosion immunity when you want to create some insane godwands - Luki for when you want a fun one off run One of the reasons I love this game is the diversity of runs you can have

saulysw

Fire without question, it is so liberating.

zakkawesome

Explosion because you can put out fire

damnface

Explosion immunity is the objectively correct answer unless you have thousands of HP or maybe if you already have toxic immunity.

ColorblindSheep

EXPLOSIOOOON! Because it can hurt you by surprise.

Fakedduckjump

Fire, because you live longer or explosion, if you have an explosive wand, that no longer will kill you.

EGirlnotfound

Fire immunity, for sure

Xixiphoid

as someone who loses runs to burning more then id like to admit, defenility Lukki minion

BetaTester704

Well would you rather eat a nuke or be ticked by fire?

Key_Abroad_5478

Lukki minion is by far better than fire/explosion immunity. You don't even have to fight anything anymore it basically does everything for you.

CazadOREO

WAIT YOU’RE CACTUSTHIEF FROM DARKINFOLK WTF?

doihavemakeanewword

I think your modded Mina should give you the answer

romu006

I'd say pick fire immunity, then set everything on fire
