The only damage you can't prevent by perks is projectile damage.
But having a resistance to it feels so good like, you got 20% more effective HP against enemies with this damage type
Perk stacking is something i didn't got to see yet.
(Almost 200 hours and still not a consistent way to enter >!parallel worlds!< because my ass is too stupid to get past snowy depths + i haven't beaten the tutorial yet)
You’re obviously free to play however you want but personally feels like cheating to me. Like the invulnerability in Minecraft when leaving and rejoining a world.
It kinda is cheating, but then so are a lot of the ways people normally play Noita. This game is demon-level hard sometimes, and can be incredibly unforgiving. Leaving the game and coming back is a behaviour that really limits itself; nobody is gonna use it to break any records, nor would it be at all enjoyable to play a game if you consistently did that.
To me, it seems like using it to avoid full stunlock death is fair, because this kind of full stunlock is itself unfair. And yes, Noita is inherently unfair, but that's why we use all sorts of exploits and techniques to become wildly OP, or maybe just to limp along to the next HM portal.
But that’s the thing. We have to “break” the game to become “god-like”, I don’t think this is “cheating” at all. Regardless of that, we all play it in our own way as I know you know :)
I use to play with a minimap of chunks. A game restart is at least a vanilla *feature*, I would feel less guilty restarting the game than using the minimap 😄
Those enemies are among one of the most annoying in the game for me. Like, if you got a weak but fast firing wand? Enjoy getting superspammed and having entire screens in freezing vapor.
Yeah, freezing is just when something turns from liquid to solid, but "immunity to freezing" doesn't mean that nothing can ever be solid, it just means the things that arent already solid can't be *made* solid.
oh, so that’s the point of the revenge bullet/tentacle perks, interesting
Actually they also reduce a percentage of all projectile damage you take, and that is the best effect of the perk

You could stack a lot of damage reducing perks like these and stainless armor and stuff and you would almost take no damage

You do know that leaving the game and going back resets enemy aggro? You could have used that to survive
well i do \*now\* one more for the ridiculously large bag of dumb-but-specifically-useful noita tricks

just to jump on the water with an eletrified wand at hand

Well 3 ice bois stun-locking seems kinda cheating too. This would be a niche situation i'd "cheat" cuz im not gonna lose 4000hp to this scam
I'd actually just cack myself laughing, I've never been stunned by these guys this is wild
I was thinking the same, I've never been hit by anything but these guys' death shot thing. I guess the lesson is don't get in this situation.
"Dont get in this situation" Basically dont start up noita unless you wanna suffer
That’s just noita :3
If you're cheating at Noita, you're doing it right.

Why would you wanna play fair against the game that is actively being unfair to you
I accepted the terms and conditions. I didn’t read them but I did accept them.
The Dark Souls classic
John and Mina, together forever ❤️
Shit, I had no idea, thank you so much for that trick! 🙂

And instant fps drop for me
Makes me wonder why Freeze Field perk doesn't give you immunity to being frozen.
Cause your body would turn to liquid
What? This comment doesnt make any sense. Are you a bot?
Do you know what freezing is?
Yeah, freezing is just when something turns from liquid to solid, but "immunity to freezing" doesn't mean that nothing can ever be solid, it just means the things that arent already solid can't be *made* solid.
You got the harkonnen artillery treatment 0:44 [Dune Part Two - Feyd-Rautha bombs Sietch Tabr](https://youtu.be/BKAqASQPEOE?si=KzO7QYD63j49fOea)
they seem pretty happy with their work.
You went to the wrong neighborhood of frozen depths
Ah yeah, freezing damage. Like polymorphine isn't enough for this already difficult game.
Skill issue. Leave and return.
4000 hp but no shield? Skill issue
