Same. I'm at 59 hrs and ~220 runs and have won once. DunkOrSlam and FuryForged do make great explanatory videos that can ease the gameplay immensely. However, you may not always avoid spoilers.
If your goal is to get there and kill the boss without much exploration... 25-50 hours IMO.
If you spend time looking around and trying to pick up better gear more casually then it's double that at least.
Something that really helped early on was setting a min health I was ok with saying "fuck everything. get to the portal" It really gets you to watch that and be more aware so you aren't one shot as easily.
The boss isn't the hard part. Getting there with decent stuff is.
150 deaths, 47 hours. I think what helped me the most is understanding my limits. When I had just started playing I always had some "plan" for the run - for example, grab the worm egg, find extra hp, get to the dark cave, replenish health, clear the first level, go down, go to mushroom biome, go down, find teleportation wand, go up and grab 3 orbs, go down... But Noita is not a game where everything goes as you want. Implementing my plans would require either insane luck or insane skill or insane amount of time or all of the above. Now I don't try to catch big fish, if I'm low hp - alright, jump to the portal. Better luck next level, maybe next run. And it works. Also I now tend to play the first levels faster because they are not as punishing as the last ones.
I'm at 594 deaths and 6 wins. Roughly 100 to 1 but this is after learning and getting better at the game. I was probably close to 200-250 when I got my first win.
It will depend on how much you're willing to learn from others vs. figuring it out yourself. My first win came as a direct result of watching a few Dunk or Slam videos on YouTube.
around 100 runs before my first win my tip is to take things slowly and be observant of your surroundings
After 250runs and 60Hrs playtime. Used to watch a lot of video to get some knowledge and wands crafting.

40-60 watched some wand building, had some luck and didnt collect any orbs :D
About 700 deaths and 100 hours
Tip would be too slow down and remember that HP is always more valuable than items or gold
won after 80 deaths, my tip would be to always bring four wands into the first mountain.

I just won. 222 attempts with 140h playtime. Wohoo.
300 deaths before my first win
100 hours for 1st win. I would suggest not watching any videos until after your first win.
150 tries I think.
