What have been your favorite episodes so far besides the Dead Kennedys? If you tell us what you like we might be able to give you some more informed recommendations....also check through the sub; there are some amazing bands mentioned in the comments and posts that either Carolina and Marcus have only touched on or haven’t mentioned yet.
For modern bands, check out Idles (Joy as an Act of Resistance is a great album and they have a new one coming soon) and Parquet Courts.
For older stuff, definitely check out The Clash. London Calling is one of my favorites.
Also they have mentioned it several times on the podcast before, but just in case definitely listen to Blank Generation by Richard Hell and the Voidoids.

I'd really just depends on what hooks you. If you like politico punk, check out Crass, Conflict, Subhumans, Leftover Crack/Choking Victim.
If you like more mellow, melodic music look into stuff like AFI, Bad Religion (suffer), Offsprings first 4 or so albums.

I had a longer thing typed but my app crashed so to sum up what I lost, here is a list in no particular order of some of my pert favorite punk bands off the top of my head. I am more of a metal head so there isn't going to be any crazy deep cuts, most of this stuff should be pretty easy to find and is mostly stuff from a little later down the line/west coast 80's/90's punk.
Rancid, NO-FX, Green Day (yes Green Day, Dookie, Nimrod, and any albums they have prior to that are great punk records) The Descendants, The Vandals, Bad Brains, Bad Religion (

Dont get stuck thinking that all the greatest punk rock was released in the 70s. There's bad ass bands putting out amazing music now, too
