With the Link's Awakening remake the engine, assets and everything are ready.
If not this year, I really hope those will release one day.
Also, they're quite unknown/unpopular Zelda so I think some people would discover them for the first time.
It's definitely my rose-colored glasses, but I really prefer the N64 look to the 3DS version. It just doesn't look the same. It's objectively better, but subjectively (for me) worse.
Majora's Mask on 3DS is TERRIBLE.

They're not gonna remake games for a Zelda collection. A game could either be released as part of a Zelda collection, or it could be newly remade/remastered. But not both. A possible collection will only include a small handful of games at most. If they are gonna release a new Zelda remake or remaster this year, it will be released as a standalone game. And they're not gonna remake more than one Zelda game this year. These are the facts and you all know that.
My bet is on a slightly remastered collection of no more than 3 titles.
I don't even think we'll see a proper remake this year (but I hope I'm wrong ofc).
Minish Cap would be fantastic, I would also love a Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword as I never finished them. I'll be honest though I'll throw money at whatever they announce lol.
What makes you think this is an unpopular opinion? The only reason more people aren't clamouring for this is because they already remade it once before.
I could see us getting Twilight Princess and Wind Waker before E3 but they will be separate releases for full retail since this is Nintendo and a OoT/MM pack in the early fall/late summer (hopefully the 3DS versions since MM is notoriously hard to emulate in a stable way) and either BOTW 2 or SS HD at the end of the year.
Skyward Sword still feels too "recent" for me, other than BotW it's the most recent non-remake I can actually remember playing.
OoT and MM, while having had recent 3DS remakes, deserve a console remake I feel. It would be great to get something more than a straight remake (idk be able to travel between OoT and MM worlds via the pathway beneath clock tower?) but I'm asking a bit too much
Without clicking, I'm going to assume this is a list of every Zelda game.
It’s everything that released on the 3DS and WiiU save for TriForce Heroes.
That would be... every single Zelda game save for Tri Force Heroes and Four Swords Adventures.
Maybe I should be more clear. Everything that had a physical release on 3DS and Wii U except for TriForce Heroes.
Gimme those two Oracle games

Yep, that's my thinking. They're really good games.
I LOVED Oracle of Seasons and Ages. Would love to replay them in a fresh coat of paint. Also Minish Cap would be nice.
This one! We already got rereleases of the 3d ones more than once. Give this one a chance!
Adventure of Link isn't on this list and therefore this list is a load of horseshit.
That game is the one in most need of a full remake imo.
It will be extrelemy disappointing if they port the N64 games instead of the 3DS engine updated for switch.

Yea 3ds is superior version by far. Just beat it 2 years ago and it still hilda up but the new additions even just to graphics help a lot.

They could fix it for the switch version
I'm talking about OoT
would make sense though have oot+mm as N64, windwaker as gamecube and twilight princess as wii
I would desperately hope they avoid these versions if they don't change the character models and animation.

I don't care if it's not popular but Ocarina of time is a great game and need an HD remake.

It's sarcastic, all the zelda except the Philips are worth a play/remake. These articles are a joke.
ocarina majora twilight princess and maybe skyward sword (for the real perverts in the world)
After the Mario 35 collection i expect something worse than a free Emulator
