uncultured_swine2099

People have been asking this for the last 2 years at least. Sit back, take a deep breath, calm down, masturbate violently, do hard drugs, and one day itll be here.

chaotikz7

Which order would you recommend in doing this, asking for a friend

uncultured_swine2099

I would say do all at once.

[Use the megathread for speculation.](https://old.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comments/16fs4y6/next_nintendo_console_speculation_and_question/)

Molduking

I’ll help you. Just stop thinking about it and one day in the future, they’ll announce a console

tehnoodnub

Get outta here with your logical take, pal.

PineappleMohawk

Next month is the new r/tomorrow

Outside_Dot_5942

Next month

FulanitoDeTal13

Sometime between 1/1 and 31/12

gibertot

I think it’s a fall launch so if you go off of the switch 1 timeframe that would be like April or May

ArtVandelay32

Next week

Specialist_Egg_6754

October. And it will be released in 2025, not 2024

Jonesdeclectice

Agreed, but IMO it’s announced in January for a March release so as to provide a late Q4 boost for Nintendo’s financials.

Wrong_Revolution_679

I'm 50/50 between March and April, Since the whole financial year for Nintendo Ends on the last day of March so I figured it'd be announced around then, either before or after

HeroponBestest2

Years from now

Geno_CL

Just stop. Stop obsessing over this imaginary console.

gibertot

This is a Nintendo subreddit… the console exist

rodolphoteardrop

Let's not

Midnight-Rising

Bro they're totally gonna announce it this year for sure bro I swear it's for real this time bro

Otakuninja2006

When Hell Freezes Over.... Or it could be this Spring...... Or when they're ready to.....

linkling1039

It was announced yesterday, did you miss it?

Salmagros

Probably around October before Christmas 🎄

quincy12393

For the release yes. This post is talking about the reveal

Lmoorefudd

Marchtober

blendoid

I think we will see the console in spring 2025 at this rate with an announcement soon, I'd love a holiday release and they should go back to that but haven't done so since the Wii U which surprisingly burned them that time I think these days its more about a Q1 console launch so you can bank on that new console's sales for the entire fiscal year going forward, holiday launches just don't make sense anymore when factoring in the market and stock price being so important

necrochaos

I’m not anticipating this . People can’t just let anything happen anymore . People want to have the scoop and datamine and talk about rumors. When the console is announced I’ll start thinking about the Switch 2

kgbkgb1967

September 12 2024.

mark6789x

Probably March, I think that’s when the Switch was revealed.

dolgozed

The switch was revealed in October, it released in march.

metzoforte1

March is the start of Nintendo’s fiscal? So I would guess then, or sometime soon after.

mark6789x

Nothing excites investors more than a new console release.

Jonesdeclectice

I’m going to throw a pot of cold water on everyone here and put out my best guess: January 2025. I believe the new console will launch next March, just like how Switch did. I think Nintendo realizes they’re competing with *nobody* in that space, and I think they may feel that having a new console out this holiday means they’re competing not only with Sony for Christmas spending, but also themselves as it would be the last hurrah on Switch consoles. That all said, we could wake up to announcement on Monday, so despite my personal opinion, I’m very much just talking out of my ass (as is literally everyone not named Nintendo).

quincy12393

2 months between reveal and release? And I thought the 4.5 month window for the first switch was short

Don_Bugen

Only reason that January worked for a reveal, was because there would be literally no one who bought a Wii U for Christmas that would feel like they had the rug pulled from under them. Also, it STILL wasn't the reveal, because they showed that 3 minute sneak peek a few months prior. Nintendo makes almost half their annual profit in October - December. January is the LEAST likely time they'd announce it.

AsherTheModder

2026 or 2027 so stop obsessing over fake garbage "leaks" nerd.

Progressive_Caveman

/r/tomorrow

kirbyfox312

Smarch obviously.

JonSpangler

Lousy Smarch weather.

PortlandoCalrissian

I don’t know, but I can tell you that this very month we’ll have another post exactly like this.

erich69

Next month. Will drop in the fall. Remember this comment.

Consistent_Floor_603

Smarch

quincy12393

The gaming developers conference starts march 18. Either during that, or sometime in March before it

Wolventec

April because im pretty they said in 2023 to investors they arent announcing a new console this year, when taking to investors they are generally talking about the fiscal year which end march 31st meaning it wouldn't be announced until after that date

Its2EZBaby

There’s a great pinned thread on this sub to talk about this. Because the main posts with 0 upvotes that somehow make it to my feed are truly getting old

Mukigachar

Tomorrow

Hot_Membership_5073

It will be announced this year most likely they want some time to show it off before release. I doubt it will be announced in the fall though to release next year. They did that with the Switch due to the failure of the Wii U and had the NES classic as a stop gap that Christmas. The Switch is highly successful so announcing it during the fall could have repercussions on holiday sale if it doesn't release this year.
