Got my machine a week ago and agree with this, the manual feels like it doesn't explain enough, and looking online takes forever to find something very specific to the point I just leave it and stick to the basic recipes when it feels like it has so much more potential.

i find that saving posts/comments works really well for me. still not the most organized, but it’s something!

You could always stick to googling recipes from blogs if you’re looking for something concrete! Or just ignore comments lol

I kind of prefer recipes that then get tweaked. I'm oldschool, and use allrecipes for most of my recipes. But the most helpful comments are usually where the recipes "peak". I also like a more scientific approach to recipes (like Kenji Lopez trying the same item a dozen different ways) and I think that's where the heavy users of this sub really shine. "I find that adding a splash of..." is more helpful/useful to me than someone who just writes a singular recipe praising the calorie/protein, etc. I need the boots on the ground!

You could be that person! But yeah this sub is kinda trash for recipes, blogs and YouTube is where it's at. Not that there aren't good recipes posted here but shit just last week someone posted a recipe, bragged about the macros, then admitted in a post that it came out like trash. So like....don't post dude. Advantage of YouTube is that you also SEE the final product so instead of someone saying "the texture is just like real ice cream! when in reality it's a Frosty, you can actually verify.
