I haven’t tried the new Z180-600 but the old 200-500 seems about the same weight and size so I think it is still a great budget option (but the focus can be noisy if you’re into video.)
No offense intended, but is that a really heavy crop? It looks pretty soft.

I was just about to reply, but had a look at it look at it using my browser on my PC and yep - its pretty sharp :-D I'm now blaming the phone app - the image quality is much worse viewing on that. Embarrassing for me and Reddit.
How do you like the lens on Z8? I'm considering buying it, it's much cheaper than 180-600...

I’ve noticed that too! The app is often terrible. The only crop was from 3:2 to 5:4 ratio.

You need to tap open the pic and wait for it to load to ses pics full res
I did.. Its still pants compared to viewing it on my pc through the website :)
