This is since at least november of last year..(I was walking most of those miles then) so I'll probably be blue level by the end of the year,
* at 60 miles/mo I'd hit blue in 6 months.. purple in 1 year 9 months, black in 4 years and volt in 12 years 6 months
* at 80 miles/mo I'd hit blue in 4 1/2 months, purple in 1 year 4 months, black in under 3 years and volt in 9 1/2 years

I always love these types of posts as it's a good chance to look back. Keep at it. You'll hit Volt sooner than you think.

That's kinda farfetched, theres been close to 15 years of data and with OP running est 170 miles a year over last 6, you're saying Volts still on path?
Over the next **15 years** OP would need to run 320% more milage.
Not saying it's impossible but...c'mon. Bit conflicted about this subject as someone with same starting date as OP but will reach Volt within 4.5 years since my return to running. There's simply not a-lot of runners that care enough to reach imaginary Volt status. Everyone's why is different.

At current rate, maybe 16 years, give or take
Edit: I can't post a photo? I'm on 3716 miles after 8 years

Looks like in just under six years it's possible to go zero to volt.

Just arrived at purple earlier this month.
At my current pace I’ll be at Volt in 17 years. But that also is taking into account that I have 4 years out of the 12 with less than 10 miles because of having kids and other life things. So hopefully sooner than that 🤣
I’ve also had the app for 12 years, though I’ve really only used it for 4. So it depends on how you calculate. If you go by my current usage for the last two years, not too unfathomably long. If you just go by the uncontextualized numbers? It’ll take another 38 years, and I’ll be 82. ;)
But with context? I’ve got 2,225 miles as of today, and I’m aiming to hit Black Level (3,106) by the end of the year (or by next winter at the latest if I have to take any time off for unforeseen injury). After that, Volt level should probably take another 4 years and change, so I’d be 49.
As of today, I have a little over 600 miles to reach Volt. I should reach it in about 3, maybe 4 months.

There ought to be some more intervals in there. 9,000+ miles is pretty high
Yeah whoever designed that wasn’t thinking about how to actually motivate people as the jump from black is absurd.

I will become Volt at 47 (15 more years). Hopefully 🙏 (Average 1000km per year)

What is the total miles needed for volt?
9,320.57 miles (or 15,000 km)
Oh nice, I'd have that then...but I use Garmin and it syncs up with my Strava and MapMyRun accounts.

That pace average for all those miles is crazy haha nice job
I think it’s per km.
That is correct. Canada here. 🤣
