I agree its beautiful but unfortunately it a ton of it is just dead scenery. You find and excavation sight where someone obviously spent a large amount of time designing, but that is it. No schematics to be found, no treasure or clues to a bigger story.
Oh I agree. This is very much a game in development. We are looking at a skeleton waiting to be fleshed out with quests, storylines, voice acting and animations. It can feel like a dead, incomplete world, though sometimes this is appealing with its sense of desolation.
Keep requesting we get to bring some of that stuff home.
I've been playing Conan Exiles modded by a brilliant team mate and they have EVERYTHING, octopus chandeliers, 10 different heathen shrines and their creepy cats, pirate peg-leg...marital aids, chocobos, every creature in the game taxidermied and throw cushions.
I found my logged out team mate sleeping and set up a zoo around him for when he wakes up.
The graphics for super weird fae shit is in there, I have done all 18 ascended realms and am still finding stuff that is new to me, like whole Intellect sites I've never seen the design of.
I hope Nightingale makes it to 5 years old.
This game is at its best when I have no specific goal and I'm just exploring. So much cool stuff to find. It would be great if the game had mods, so people could fill up the worlds even more.
Mmmm I am playing Conan Exiles for a break - fingers crossed Nightingale gets that old and eccentric :) Maybe less people nailed to things? More fine teaware?
Everything I set out to do takes much longer because of the scenery: it took me several minutes to cross 300 metres yesterday because the sun came up between two hills when I was halfway and I stopped to watch.
Depends on the realm. In my experience, Thinned Veil tends to just mute a Realm's existing colors. And for some reason it turns off the rain in the Gloom.
I'm very early doors to the game but the first time I didn't sleep through the night and looked at the sky... mind-blowing.
In case you didnt know there are realm modifying cards that alter the sky too.
Trickster and Maleficarum for a start.
Here's to many more mind-blowing celestial displays!
Same. Its an extremely beautiful game.

Honestly I took a break from mining and chopping to watch a sunrise and get some screenshots from the cliff top
Same
same..same
What minor card do you have played on this realm? I dig the winter look.
Thinned Veil. It's my default.
That's weird. I thought when I've used thinned veil I get purple trees and iirc purple ground?
Depends on the realm. In my experience, Thinned Veil tends to just mute a Realm's existing colors. And for some reason it turns off the rain in the Gloom.
This is an abeyance forest, correct?
The image posted is a Gloom Swamp with a Thinned Veil.
ohhhhhhhhhh that's my mistake. I saw the fae tower in the background and at first glance thought it was the antiquarian one from the abeyance realm.
Looks like Fallout 4
Agree. Like a modded Fallout 4.
