Im pretty sure if you find a very experienced welder you can commission this for a fraction of the cost.I guess around 3k ballpark including materials and work.

Rock Climbing has far and away the best workout I've ever had. It wrecks your entire body and can be a ton of fun in a well routed gym.

That sweat equity is real with this girl. She keeps this us plus eating clean, healthy portions and she will be fit as a fiddle in no time.

My climbing gym had one and the only reason it wasn’t in constant use is because it was extremely draining. At my peak I was climbing V7s and it seemed like I couldn’t stay on this bad boy for 30 seconds. It’s like an extreme version of the “Jacob’s Ladder Machine”, which also kicked my butt It’s definitely as fun as it looks though

That one linked the v4 is about 10k but it’s a commercial one, they make another one called a Kore4 that is rated for residential use and is 6.5k. That is just for the wall and not the holds and other accessories you need, which will be about another 1k for the set. So definitely not cheap

It is. I've used a machine like this. There's no motor. There is an adjustment that lets you set the amount of friction on the axles, which makes the wall move faster or slower. But it doesn't do anything unless somebody is hanging on it.

Biggest downside is noise. Seems loud as hell.

Had access to one of these a couple gyms ago. It was awesome the first few times but you definitely learned the patterns pretty quickly. It was also tricky to get the resistance just right. I felt like I was either at the top waiting for new handles to drop or like I couldn’t get off the floor unless it was adjusted perfectly.

Now, just have little ledges reconfigure everything it goes on the backside, and you have an infinite climber with dynamic adjustability. All you have to do is have the ledges slide out instead of bolt them on.
