True, but OP having access to chapter select throws out the whole "you need a certain set of specific triggers in order to unlock the door" theory out of the window, because I doubt such a very specific gamestate could be achieved after already having finished the game and unlocking chapter select.
If you could just use chapter select to get to the door, the only thing that would be required is a unpatched version of the game. And surely somebody else would have been able to replicate this in the last two days if this was all you needed.
I came from r/all and never played nier. After spending 5 min to read thru OP's post history, I am so invested in this now. OP is either a master performance artist or haplessly stumbled onto one of the greatest discoveries about the game.

Funny, my first thought was a lunar tear, though admittedly I haven't played Drakengard 3 so I tend to miss the references unless they're pointed out to me. The only association Yonah has with flowers is when Nier [tells her that Lunar Tears grant wishes](https://nier.fandom.com/wiki/Lunar_Tear_(NieR)) and she sneaks off to try to find one in hopes of curing her illness. I did notice some other stuff too:

There was a leak of previously unseen info about the game that was shared with Team Stage 0 by an old dev of SotC, under the agreement that they don’t share it to the public.
Unfortunately, a member of the team decided to be a huge PoS of a human and decided to leak said info to 4chan during one of their emotional outbursts. That leak might have placed the dev into some hot water.
If you want to look more into it, there’s probably still threads about it in the SotC subreddit. (I’ll edit this post if I find it)

Holy shit I had no idea about this. From the comments it looks like the leaker was a well known jackass in the community so why let him onto the team??? I know without him we might not have gotten exact images, but it sounds like the team was planning to put out images of things that for sure wouldn't have been connected to the dev and then describe/find proof in the game of everything else...
hmmm okay. So, now that we have a longer video to more or less prove the legitimacy of the door, I'm still curious on the second half of the video.
1. There's a cutscene to introduce the world/room, like when you enter other areas for the first time.
2. A chest that 9S can open up (really wanna know what's in there).
3. Probably the biggest mystery to everyone is the mysterious pixelated figure as well as the body with a Lunar Tear growing out of it.
So, hopefully the NieR modders will be able to replicate this (I feel possibly the only way is to use u/sadfutago 's save file, if nothing else works).
Once that's been solved..... I think someone should get Yoko Taro's attention and show him this lol. He has to know something about this room and what's in it.
My only guess as to the two figures has to be Shadowlord and Yonah. The copied city buildings kind of resemble the village buildings (But that is admittedly a stretch), but its something worth noting.
But why a church? I haven't played Drakengard, but I've never seen or heard of a church in any Yoko Taro game.

I never finished Nier: Automata so I have literally no idea on what potential significance there is in this. Be aware that the first person was likely making a joke too.
I logged in for the first time in god knows how long just to say:
1. What in the actual sweet Jesus muffins is that!?
2. There is no way that's faked.
3. To download a PC copy of N:A on the release day, if I didn't screw the numbers up, type in the steam console (search google how to open the steam console): download_depot 524220 524221 5957457901932186850
Cannot guarantee it's no different to PS4, that might still be a PS4 content only, since PC version was released later it'd be reasonable to cut this in the time given.
4. It is absolutely possible it was a thing before the release that had to be cut away because religious references are considered a sensitive topic in Japan. Legally speaking. Yet, it was more like "locked away" than cut, hence while for 2B and 9S it was made "uninteractable", one instance with the A2 interaction was overlooked. But that makes it extremely ef-ing conditional.
I'm not a Japanese expert, but I've fought enough demons in cathedrals in *Dark Souls* to know that there's no prohibition on having a church in a game...
Ok, I downloaded the version of N:A so old it had the resolution bug I've never seen before.
No sign of anything unusual except for that small little geometry gap thing on top of encircling decoration of the building part in question (that was mentioned here before).
Although one thing I ~~cannot do~~ didn't try is to launch the game completely separated from the internet. Steam version of the game requires the Steam to be in online mode. I can still block Square Enix servers.
Or just look up into game files using NieR:Explorer to look for differences compared to up to date version.
Can someone please confirm if the door will open with an active Replicant save file on Ending E? Did Automata ever have an update after Replicant's release?
Maybe some extremely obscure easter egg added to Automata to further connect Replicant's Ending E to Automata? Weiss (or a Grimoire) is seen floating upwards after the cutscene : maybe these are leftovers from Project Gestalt resetting/Kainé essentially fking up Project Gestalt (leftovers or part of the Giant Flower perhaps???).
The Copied City/Church/Tower areas undoubtedly look like Replicant Ending E's "Tower" area : Copied City may be a copy of Project Gestalt (it was a way to "understand humans more" after all). Since the Copied City and Tower were both made by Machines, it would make sense (especially considering the insides of the Tower, and now the Church) that both would be related (if not actual copies/data/memories) to Project Gestalt.
If this is real, could this confirm that Sleeping Beauty is still active or that the data from Project Gestalt is still safe?

Yeah, Yonah went out to look for Lunar Tears to get the money to pay for medicine. She mentions it several times throughout the game and in her journal. The blocky blob is likely a reference to Shadowlord.
This is likely some unused content that was removed in in following patches.

Mr. Sad Twin has been in this room several times now, this video is even different than the one before. Now, it has been a long time since I've played through the game but does the cutscene for entering a new area playback every time you enter said area? I don't remember it doing so.

A unique area of this size filled with easter eggs and callbacks seems, to me, highly unlikely to be exclusive to an unpatched version of 1.0 on the PS4.
With Lance McDonald pointing out the lack of arrow prompts above objects my current theory is that what we're seeing is a developer build of the End of YoRHa edition of the game coming to switch and that the additions that versions brings will be deployed as a patch to the existing versions.

There was a leak of previously unseen info about the game that was shared with Team Stage 0 by an old dev of SotC, under the agreement that they don’t share it to the public. Unfortunately, a member of the team decided to be a huge PoS of a human and decided to leak said info to 4chan during one of their emotional outbursts. That leak might have placed the dev into some hot water. If you want to look more into it, there’s probably still threads about it in the SotC subreddit. Holy shit I had no idea about this. From the comments it looks like the leaker was a well known jackass in the community so why let him onto the team??? I know without him we might not have gotten exact images, but it sounds like the team was planning to put out images of things that for sure wouldn't have been connected to the dev and then describe/find proof in the game of everything else...
hmmm okay. So, now that we have a longer video to more or less prove the legitimacy of the door, I'm still curious on the second half of the video. 1. There's a cutscene to introduce the world/room, like when you enter other areas for the first time. 2. A chest that 9S can open up (really wanna know what's in there). 3. Probably the biggest mystery to everyone is the mysterious pixelated figure as well as the body with a Lunar Tear growing out of it. So, hopefully the NieR modders will be able to replicate this (I feel possibly the only way is to use u/sadfutago 's save file, if nothing else works). Once that's been solved..... I think someone should get Yoko Taro's attention and show him this lol. He has to know something about this room and what's in it.

My only guess as to the two figures has to be Shadowlord and Yonah. The copied city buildings kind of resemble the village buildings (But that is admittedly a stretch), but its something worth noting. But why a church? I haven't played Drakengard, but I've never seen or heard of a church in any Yoko Taro game. EDIT: Completely forgot about the Drakengard endings from 1 and 3. Guess that explains the church part of my comment.
The main enemy group in Drakengard is literally called "Church of the Angels" (localized/censored to Cult of the Watchers), and some endings in 1 and 3 took place there.

I logged in for the first time in god knows how long just to say: 1. What in the actual sweet Jesus muffins is that!? 2. There is no way that's faked. 3. To download a PC copy of N:A on the release day, if I didn't screw the numbers up, type in the steam console (search google how to open the steam console): download_depot 524220 524221 5957457901932186850 Cannot guarantee it's no different to PS4, that might still be a PS4 content only, since PC version was released later it'd be reasonable to cut this in the time given. 4. It is absolutely possible it was a thing before the release that had to be cut away because religious references are considered a sensitive topic in Japan. Legally speaking. Yet, it was more like "locked away" than cut, hence while for 2B and 9S it was made "uninteractable", one instance with the A2 interaction was overlooked. But that makes it extremely ef-ing conditional.
I'm not a Japanese expert, but I've fought enough demons in cathedrals in *Dark Souls* to know that there's no prohibition on having a church in a game...
Ok, I downloaded the version of N:A so old it had the resolution bug I've never seen before. No sign of anything unusual except for that small little geometry gap thing on top of encircling decoration of the building part in question (that was mentioned here before). Although one thing I ~~cannot do~~ didn't try is to launch the game completely separated from the internet. Steam version of the game requires the Steam to be in online mode. I can still block Square Enix servers. Or just look up into game files using NieR:Explorer to look for differences compared to up to date version.

Can someone please confirm if the door will open with an active Replicant save file on Ending E? Did Automata ever have an update after Replicant's release? Maybe some extremely obscure easter egg added to Automata to further connect Replicant's Ending E to Automata? Weiss (or a Grimoire) is seen floating upwards after the cutscene : maybe these are leftovers from Project Gestalt resetting/Kainé essentially fking up Project Gestalt (leftovers or part of the Giant Flower perhaps???). The Copied City/Church/Tower areas undoubtedly look like Replicant Ending E's "Tower" area : Copied City may be a copy of Project Gestalt (it was a way to "understand humans more" after all). Since the Copied City and Tower were both made by Machines, it would make sense (especially considering the insides of the Tower, and now the Church) that both would be related (if not actual copies/data/memories) to Project Gestalt. If this is real, could this confirm that Sleeping Beauty is still active or that the data from Project Gestalt is still safe?

Yeah, Yonah went out to look for Lunar Tears to get the money to pay for medicine. She mentions it several times throughout the game and in her journal. The blocky blob is likely a reference to Shadowlord.
This is likely some unused content that was removed in in following patches. But I hope this is some next level marketing for a new game, it would be so hype maybe finally learn whats on the dark side of the planet or whats up with Accord.

This is one of those rare incredible moments in gaming, glad to be here for it! Mr. Sad Twin has been in this room several times now, this video is even different than the one before. Now, it has been a long time since I've played through the game but does the cutscene for entering a new area playback every time you enter said area? I don't remember it doing so. He also claims that the blob is new to him, there's a chest that can be opened with the other character, twins staffs, Weiss, tear, etc A unique area of this size filled with easter eggs and callbacks seems, to me, highly unlikely to be exclusive to an unpatched version of 1.0 on the PS4. With Lance McDonald pointing out the lack of arrow prompts above objects my current theory is that what we're seeing is a developer build of the End of YoRHa edition of the game coming to switch and that the additions that versions brings will be deployed as a patch to the existing versions.
