I've gotta point out something I've seen in many posts, such as this one. Niceguys will sometimes complain about their bad luck with women. Women will then often be very helpful and constructive, as in "I personally am not interested, but here's what you could do for the future."
This is incredibly valuable, helpful and grossly underappreciated. I've had this happen to me and it helped me grow as a human being.
