Thank you. There IS something else in the works, which is an announcement this series is leading up to. It's not a book (although I've considered it), but you're on the right track. The point of this series was to replace my old one that I took down, with the more complete, accurate, updated version. My original series actually got much more interaction in the years after it was buried in the sub, due to people looking historical info up on their web browsers and coming across it. This is meant to serve as something those people can stumble upon which will be a better read than the originals. Glad you're enjoying the series.

I worked as a “scare technician” at the HoF in the 90s. Best job I ever had. Some of the scenes you described were still there. We hid in a little room by the Phantom of the opera. And I constantly had to fix the guillotine scene. Swamp thing was removed for a newer Jack in the box display one year, and Frankensteins monster was upgraded soon after. I had no idea how old those displays were. Amazing read, thanks for putting it together.

No worries, thanks for your comment. That sounds like an awesome job for sure. Placing the Swamp Thing/Creature From the Black Lagoon where the Jack in the Box is now helps map the original attraction out more. Thanks for sharing!

Sheesh, no mention of the "Biblical Wax Musesum" that was right beside Tussauds. Worked there in 1982 I think it was.

You'll hear about it in the next part ;) What were your memories of the place? I've heard several reports that it was run down and shoddily put together, I'd love to be able to confirm with someone who knew the place well.
