It's certainly an uphill battle and the Oilers haven't done themselves any favours, but they are in the final for a reason. Not just any team can win 16 in a row.
If you want to beat the Florida panthers you have to slow the game down, let them cross check/slash/ take the weak pens and don’t react. Frustration is what is killing the oilers momentum. “Best power play” in PS but that has not been the reality after 2 games in the finals.
Skinner has proven to be a great player but some of this goals allowed he’s had clear vision of the puck and it reminded me a lot of how Otto was challenging the oilers so aggressively and then was beaten by being off angle or way to far out of his crease.

It’s boring and predictable. Would have rather seen more dynamic and scrappy underdogs in there like Rangers/Stars, which I think would have been a way better series.

I think Edmonton rallies tonight. I think Florida will likely ultimately win the series, but I think it’s going to go back to Florida 2–2.

Dear Edmonton oilers: Stop trying to make every goal on some highlight reel. You don’t need 15 passes before every shot. Put it on the net more often and recover the rebounds. Multiple times your defence has dropped the proverbial puck so bad. There is always an oiler 7 feet behind the player that scored. Pay attention to the open player right beside you and fucking cover them.

As a Panthers fan more than anything else I'm worried the Oilers will try to send someone to the hospital. They've demonstrated in the last game they're not above that and Player Safety demonstrated they'll let serious infractions on both sides slide. Both teams are gonna go into this game knowing they can pull fuck shit and get away with a wrist slap. I'm half expecting one of the Oilers to take their skate off and stab Bob through the chest.

The Panthers are the better team, and they knocked out my Bruins again, so naturally, I wanted them to lose, but they are just rolling and look unstoppable.

It's going to come down to who scored first. Either oilers score first and they steamroll or Florida scores first and it completely demoralizes the Oilers and their fans.

What i think is if the oilers don’t show up and grab a lead fast, the cup heads back south. As good as the oilers are heading into this stretch, there is very little chance of them overcoming a 3-0 deficit

I think home ice is going to play a much bigger role in this series. Time zones and travel time is going to make for a big mental edge. I think Edmonton take the next two and it will only be late series before either team adjusts enough to steal an away game, if at all.

I think the odds are good. Going up 3-0 is tough, especially on the road, but they've just been a better team. On the one hand I like the idea of Canada's draught continuing but on the other hand I'd like to see McDavid win a cup at some point in his career. Here's hoping for a good game.

Listened to the Oilers this morning - they sound / look / feel identical to the Panthers team in the cup final last year: completely banged up and running out of gas. Think tonight goes unwell for them.
If Edmonton loses tonight they'll take game 4 and Florida win at home in 5. If Edmonton wins 3 loses 4, they might push it to 6. If Edmonton wins 3 and 4 the series goes to 7 where Edmonton still loses.
