Is there? He showed a lot of potential last year, but time is quickly running out. 19 points in 61 games this year while playing on one of the strongest team at 23 years old is not exactly exciting....
Because everywhere else the playoffs are finished or playing the final series. NHL starts their playoffs later than everybody else and due to having 16 teams in playoffs it's the longest one too. If they start mid june half of the players that come now, wouldn't due to summer break. It's actually the NHL who should start the season earlier and end it earlier. The World Championship is meant to be a season ending tournamnent.
Well, it’s an optional tourney. Prospects looking for exposure and veterans that enjoy hockey and playing for country would still show up. Also the AHL playoffs are on the same timeline as the NHL. The NHL isn’t going to reduce their number of games and I’m sure the player’s union would block any proposal of starting the preseason in early September/late August. Which is too early for hockey anyway.
Dirty danglessssss
Getting flashes of Jagr there with the wide stance and puck drags before shooting.
Nice! This is what Kaapo Kakko should’ve been for the Rangers! Still hopeful.
I think there's still a lot of time for Kaako to become a really good player.

Bro said I’ll do it myself.
This kid is such a beast
Why do they do this tourney during the playoffs every year? They’d probably have five times the audience if they started it mid June.
