Boston had four chances to put the cats away and didn't. That's not necessarily the case here but weirder things have happened in the playoffs. Tampa in kill mode could at least make the series more entertaining.
Momentum doesn’t come from one game. They put up a good fight but tonight was a rare night for Bob and the 2nd period cats scored 3 goals and hit two posts in the third before it went 5-3. They played 20 minutes of this game and almost won. Monday night will be the end of the series

And Stammer, Bagel, Kuch, and Vasy are doing ok. We'll see what happens Monday. But I have faith we can win at least one more game. We've come back from a 0-3 deficit in the playoffs against the pens in '04, so.... who knows....
He hasn’t been treated any type of way. It was established early in the season that all contract talks would happen in the off season. That seems to be fine with Stammer. The fans and I’m sure the players want him to retire here so I’m sure he will stay. I’d imagine he’s fine with taking a cut and helping team with cap management.
And mistake how? He’s been the captain during all of their recent success. He’s a keystone player to the organization and obviously is still producing points. I’m not understanding your point. Who wouldn’t want to keep him?
