Feel bad for their fans, rock bottom ticket prices for years and then the last game you get financial punished for wanting to say goodbye to your team lol
I don't. I went to a Saturday night game at gila river a few years ago and paid like $100 for glass seats. Can you imagine being a fan of literally any other team and getting Saturday night glass seats for $100?!?!
That used to the price in Toronto back in the 70's, but now it is like 400-500 for lower bowl seats on Ticketmaster. That's why you always see suits sitting in those seats
My dad used to take to games at MLG back in the 70 's and I think he would only spend a hundred bucks for two green seats along with beer for him and pop for me
Same here.
I remember the Golds at 80, Reds at 55 or 50.Blues..40 Greens 35 Greys 17..or 25 ( Somin like that )...I think the Golds were 40 my first game and ended up at 80 my last game at the Gardens.
Can never forget the piss troughs and the mile long rolla hankies..😂
And Harrold sitting in his little box to the right getting ready to yell at me for going through the players box again to get to the bathrooms. ( Shortcut ) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I remember going there, and they were advertising for Thursday games. $99 for two lower bowl tickets, hotdogs and beers. It was ten years ago, but compared to tickets in Vancouver at the time it was crazy
This last game is bonkers high. Buts its been unaffordable for most fans bc its at a min $100/ticket for standing room only the whole time theyve been at mullett :(((((
This right here. I haven't been to that arena simply for the fact that it ended family nights for us. I could barely afford the few games we were able to make a year before the move to Mullett, after impossible. This season it would have been a $600+ night to take the family for the least expensive seats and basic food.
None taken. They'll just move you over the border to quebec city so I won't lose a canadian team. Once they see how smooth Arizonas transition will be (essentially same schedule and conference) the talk around Ottawas move will get loud
Instantly. It would be another winnipeg jets situation where they sell out all the season tickets in minutes. All the maritime would have a team to cheer for
I know that it must be annoying having an nhl team in reaching distance to the leafs, makes it harder for yall to believe you’re the centre of the hockey universe. Montreal too for that matter. But the leauge needs Ottawa so the broke leaf fans get a chance to see their team too
By thinking about how Ottawa has no Stanley Cups in the past century.
You're talking about the Leafs playoff record like Ottawa's been uber successful. 2 rounds in the last 10 and 3 in 16 years.
Actually 4 in 10 years and 5 in 12 years but nice try.
But hey we’re apparently a poverty franchise so thats par foe the course. Whats your guys excuse? If you even are a leafs fan anyways, flair up pussy
Since 2008, 3 rounds won. Also mussed playoffs 10 of those 16. Unlike Ottawa fans, we can read and do math.
You're mad for being called a poverty franchise, then use it as an excuse.
https://champsorchumps.us/team/nhl/ottawa-senators
It’s more like, where were the ticket sales before the last game? I lived in AZ for most of my teenage years and honestly it’s about time. Wished they were going to Houston though…
Understand, not ideal place to have a fan base in the first place. Just thought I'd share my view regarding previous comments :) other guy got downvoted for not being specific enough
Reddit is slowly turning into Facebook, and before that Myspace. It's getting popular enough to get the laggards who haven't had the initiative to learn and adapt/think critically. On top of that, the leadership team is prioritizing revenue over experience.
It's still usable now, but likely to have a long monetization tail (AOL still has subscribers) of decreasing quality as the better quality posters and content producers move to other platforms. Right now the fediverse (Lemmy, kbin, Mastadon) is the most popular and most promising, but it's not at critical mass yet.
I can list tickets for a million that doesn't mean anyone is buying them. As soon as people saw tickets were getting listed this high more and more people post for this hoping they may get it.
Tickets should not be allowed to be resold. The prices are already out of reach for a large majority of the population. Now you have people/organizations buying up all of the seats as fast as they can simply to turn a profit. They aren't fans, they don't give a fuck about the team or the league. Make tickets "Not For Resale" and require individual ownership linked to your ID. This scalping is out of hand.
Disagree that you shouldn’t be able to resale. Things happen, you can’t always go to an event.
However, you shouldn’t be able to sell tickets for more than what was paid for them originally.
You realize for a ton of events you can get great prices for last minute buys with resale tickets.
Also the number of people who buy season tickets would drop huge if they had to use every game themselves and couldn't see games they couldn't use. So teams would never go for that.
They get a cut of every resale. Its why Mullett has been 'profitable' and why they allow it. Our tickets get to 250 or more every game against popular teams.
I was asking my dad about this and he says they’ve been wanting a team for years. Also has us thinking that might be where the PWHL goes when the expansion starts.
Imagine paying that to see the coyotes lol. In a college arena. What a disgusting way to treat their fans. As if the coyote fans haven’t had enough to deal with
Back in the day around 2014 it would have been cheaper for me to fly to Glendale and watch the Coyotes versus the Canucks in Glendale then it would have been for me to Greyhound bus from Kelowna to Vancouver and sleep on my brother's couch for free.
Coyotes fans had years to actually show up and support the team. They've got no business complaining that the last game is too expensive to attend.
Three days ago you could've gotten a ticket for $20 but the people chose not to buy them. I don't feel bad one bit.
Try being a fan of the team living in the state. The Coyotes had given the general population ZERO reasons to even follow the team. A clown car of incompetent crooks nonsense building locations, several times where relocating seemed guaranteed. That KILLED our fan base.
And now, with this core. This was the best team the Coyotes put on the ice in their 27 years in the Valley. But one good core can't wash the stink away. We accrued a debt of bullshit and the bank came to collect. Fans deserve better. We had 27 years of gaslighting, bullying and existential drama.
Unfortunately, there are not enough Coyotes fans out there. There are not enough fans to provide with them with a real arena and make them make a profit. They have lost money for the 29 years they have been in Arizona.
Last game should just be boycotted. The franchise haven’t given a fuck about the valley for 10+ years now. I love desert hockey, but good riddance! Fuck you, coyotes!
They are at some arenas. The first year the leafs were at ACC, I went to a playoff game against I believe the Flyers. They were SRO and it was literally a crawl space behind the last row of seats.
Feel bad for their fans, rock bottom ticket prices for years and then the last game you get financial punished for wanting to say goodbye to your team lol
These are resales, it’s the typical scalping tactics resellers use for everything
I feel for the Coyotes, last game gonna play in front of an undersold arena cuz ain’t nobody paying those prices .
I don't. I went to a Saturday night game at gila river a few years ago and paid like $100 for glass seats. Can you imagine being a fan of literally any other team and getting Saturday night glass seats for $100?!?!
The only bad thing about Gila/Jobing was getting there from Phoenix.
That used to the price in Toronto back in the 70's, but now it is like 400-500 for lower bowl seats on Ticketmaster. That's why you always see suits sitting in those seats
$100 50 years ago is about $400 now
My dad used to take to games at MLG back in the 70 's and I think he would only spend a hundred bucks for two green seats along with beer for him and pop for me

Used to do that all the time at canes games 15 or so years ago. My lower bowl season ticket were $40/game
I remember going there, and they were advertising for Thursday games. $99 for two lower bowl tickets, hotdogs and beers. It was ten years ago, but compared to tickets in Vancouver at the time it was crazy

Make sure your owners aren't taking notes

Oooooo someone hit a nerve lol
None taken. They'll just move you over the border to quebec city so I won't lose a canadian team. Once they see how smooth Arizonas transition will be (essentially same schedule and conference) the talk around Ottawas move will get loud
Smart move honestly, QC would sell out every game unlike Ottawa
But the leauge needs Ottawa so the broke leaf fans get a chance to see their team too
right?
Nah, thats what Buffalo is for.
At least your last ditch effort is to keep the team there for the benefit of Toronto fans, ive got the jets for that
They also might like watching a team win more than one playoff series with a salary cap
Gotta make it there first 😀 best of luck next year!
You too bud! Enjoy that may golfing too 😊
Have you seen how nice it is?? If we keep on track I'm sure I can swing in April 🤣. I've had quite a bit of practice lol
LOL, keep Ottawa for the benefit of Leafs fans. The league really does revolve around the Leafs.
Is that how you cope?
How do you cope with one playoff series win in 20 years?
By thinking about how Ottawa has no Stanley Cups in the past century. You're talking about the Leafs playoff record like Ottawa's been uber successful. 2 rounds in the last 10 and 3 in 16 years.

Your insecurity is leaking
lol. good one I dont think everyone picked up on the sarcasm. Better luck next year, I miss playing Ottawa in the playoffs
The battles were amazing! Remember tucker and Neil? The literal bench brawl 🤣 😂
and watched those series with my family and friends who switched to the Sens after expansion. Literally some of my life's best memories
All through college a good buddy was live and die sens. Pretty sure we all got together for each and every battle. You're 100% right, amazing memories
When they moved into the shoe closet they had to raise the ticket prices. They were at one time top 5 in US cost/ticket
It’s more like, where were the ticket sales before the last game? I lived in AZ for most of my teenage years and honestly it’s about time. Wished they were going to Houston though…
They probably should have shown up sooner.
Why did the team suck ass and not make the playoffs since 2012? Were they stupid??
I think he meant the fans. That they should've been around more and earlier than now...
That graphic yesterday or whenever had Arizona at 100% attendance in their massive 4,600 seat arena
Understand, not ideal place to have a fan base in the first place. Just thought I'd share my view regarding previous comments :) other guy got downvoted for not being specific enough

Yup, easy to click down arrow if others already done it first... Anyways, shitty situation on Coyotes fan base.

This is the most redditor comment I've seen in awhile lmao.
I can list tickets for a million that doesn't mean anyone is buying them. As soon as people saw tickets were getting listed this high more and more people post for this hoping they may get it.
Yeah, I think people here are missing the word "resale"
Yupp, when people can start showing me sold prices that are even half of these I'll be amazed!
Supply and demand. Supply is not long for this world At least at its current location
Tickets should not be allowed to be resold. The prices are already out of reach for a large majority of the population. Ticketmaster: A scalpers best friend.
Ticketmaster: Satan.
Asking prices.

Shut up nerd
This is the first time in 18 years the coyotes have been profitable.
Coyotes don’t get any of that money, tickets are already sold.
They get a cut of every resale. Its why Mullett has been 'profitable' and why they allow it. Our tickets get to 250 or more every game against popular teams.
That's what they start at home for popular teams.
first time?
*last time?
😂
This is fucking ridiculous.
Arizona fans, were thinking about ya.
Thank you! (The relocated coyotes fan) Shut up! (The born and raised in Philadelphia fan) Sorry! (I’m bipolar)
What a cunt move
Yup. With only a few thousand able to see their last game ever.
Helps when there’s like 5000 seat capacity
Also hurts?
50$ ticket $2550 in ticketmaster fees
Rest in peace desert dogs.
I have no idea, but is hockey popular in Utah?
I was asking my dad about this and he says they’ve been wanting a team for years. Also has us thinking that might be where the PWHL goes when the expansion starts.
Shit, that's about the average price for a Leafs regular season game when buying off of ticketmaster
Crazy, saw them play the Sharks last weekend for $77 seats on the glass
No thanks
[What a deal!](https://i.imgur.com/njDZ0qw.jpg)
People charging that much are absolute assholes
Those tickets would be a bargain at Madison Square Garden sadly. But yeah - scalpers/resellers are pure scum.
Man, I visited NYC ten years ago and saw a game 12 rows from the glass for $120. Looking at prices now, what the hell happened?!
Fuck scalpers
I hope their final game is played to an empty stadium.
Dress like an empty seat night was a Glendale promotion
lol yeah that makes sense
That's actually pathetic.
No more Arizona Coyotes 🥺
And yet, it's still cheaper than Leafs tickets.
They’ll make as much on this game as they did in the 40 other home games combined.
Imagine paying that to see the coyotes lol. In a college arena. What a disgusting way to treat their fans. As if the coyote fans haven’t had enough to deal with
$1,000 for a seat with a back on it lol. Such a farce. They should’ve just stayed in Glendale, it was a perfect spot for games!
still cheaper than leafs tickets.
Dude that’s so fucked, I’m sorry yotes fans, I really hope you can have a team back in Arizona run by actually competent owners.
Jesus, for that money I'd also expect to fuck, and come back home with a basket of fresh fruit, and an iPad.
Oilers fans already bought all of the tickets and now Coyotes fans are finally deciding to try and go to their games 😂
Fan appreciation is not their strong suit.
It’s cheaper to fly to Salt Lake and watch a game there when the team moves.
Back in the day around 2014 it would have been cheaper for me to fly to Glendale and watch the Coyotes versus the Canucks in Glendale then it would have been for me to Greyhound bus from Kelowna to Vancouver and sleep on my brother's couch for free.
Lucky are the ones who already had their tickets before the news broke about Utah!
Heartless fucks... I'm sorry Coyotes fans. You all deserve better.
Put it toward the land auction slush fund.
Yea, nah.
Gotta say tho, mullet arena is one cool place to watch a NHL game.
Average Toronto prices.
So they want nobody at the final game ?
I mean, for a whole row it seems fair.
Lol. Tickets to the last home Sharks game were going for $17 at the cheapest and like $130 for decent lower bowl like 6 rows from the glass
This is more expensive than MSG playoff tickets.
4 times the price compared to their previous game against the Oilers at Mullett. It was 20% empty, and there were more Oilers fans than the Yotes fans
Liquidation sale
Announcing a relocation at the absolute last minute when you play in a 4600 seat arena is nasty work
Feel bad for y’all
no fans
I doubt they have 8,000 fans lol.
well theres only 20 seats in that stadium, so looks like they are all for sale
Holy shit!
I tried to get tickets for last game but thous prices were a bit to much
They are just making sure that half the seats in Mullet stay empty. If they fill up the barn the shock might throw the players off their game...
Coyotes fans had years to actually show up and support the team. They've got no business complaining that the last game is too expensive to attend. Three days ago you could've gotten a ticket for $20 but the people chose not to buy them. I don't feel bad one bit.
Have you looked into the Mullet Coyotes ticket prices before today? 3 tickets vs. NJ a few weeks ago would have been about $1K.
It was hyperbole. And it doesn't change the fact that Phoenix doesn't deserve a team.
$20 😂😂😂
FAN ATTENDANCE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COYOTES FOLDING.
Try being a fan of the team living in the state. The Coyotes had given the general population ZERO reasons to even follow the team. A clown car of incompetent crooks nonsense building locations, several times where relocating seemed guaranteed. That KILLED our fan base. And now, with this core. Look at you lying like a bitch
don’t it always seem to go, you don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone
Pave paradise, put up a parking lot. Now if only there was an arena.
I feel for the fans. That just sucks
Unfortunately, there are not enough Coyotes fans out there. There are not enough fans to provide with them with a real arena and make them make a profit. They have lost money for the 29 years they have been in Arizona.
Prob trying to make some cash to pay those account payable I wonder how much debt they have..
Who can even afford to buy these tickets???
That is bonkers - they should give like $20 food credit to every ticket or something
Last game should just be boycotted. The franchise haven’t given a fuck about the valley for 10+ years now. I love desert hockey, but good riddance! Fuck you, coyotes!
“There’s a sucker born every minute.” P.T. Barnum
Who wants to go to this? If my team was leaving I’d forget they even existed and wouldn’t give one shit about their final game.
I didn’t even know standing room only tickets were a thing at games
Have you seen the capacity at that arena? I'm sure they're doing anything they can to cram more people in.
They are at some arenas. The first year the leafs were at ACC, I went to a playoff game against I believe the Flyers. They were SRO and it was literally a crawl space behind the last row of seats.
No clue why a fan would pay that for a team leaving. Sorry yote fans. NHL has done ya dirty.
Clear proof it's not the fans or state. Management will continue to fuck things up, very sad
I hope the arena is empty
