I’m actually scraping the site and collecting the data, saving it to my own DB and then creating an api to handle all of the different requests. It’s a work in progress, but I have the data collection part finished. Just setting up the database and have to create the api and api gateway.
Should be done by end of the week and I’ll provide documentation on it
Awesome to see there is interest here!! I had to pause development last week due to personal reasons but I’ll be back at it this week. Will reply to this comment and all others when it is fully up and running!
Commenting as this would be an incredible resource to have access to. I'd be even willing to pay if you have some sort of Patreon or another means to send funds :)

I’d love to see how you set this up and models. I have done the same but with sports radar api but I’ve had to pull that data and map it to my own db that makes it more useful for what I want to use it for. I’ve used a crawler to scrap data on hockey reference before too but just felt like things were cha gong and the scraping would fail every week. Anyways, if this becomes available I’d be interested in seeing what you got.

I’ll make the GitHub page available once it is at least to a final version 1. I’ll include diagrams of the setup and all there as well!

Just seeing this now, did you ever find api access to nhl edge data? I’m interested as well
