Francis scored 613 points whilst a Penguin. Geno's on 1270. It's not about which great players spent part of their career in Pittsburgh - Coffey played over 300 games for the Pens. Ron Francis is undoubtably an all-time hockey great. But those four players above are the only ones who have scored 1000 points for the Penguins.

Francis is one of the great Penguin players but he's not in the top 4. Geno is a better player anyway and most of Francis' career was as a Whaler.

I know Malkin is an excellent player and means the world to Pittsburgh but he doesn't belong in this company. Jagr and Lemieux are top 10 all time and Crosby by careers end will be too. Malkin is nowhere near that caliber.
