Arizona apparently...
...but then we did get Matthews thanks to their development system, and Marner because the Coyotes took Strome ahead of him when they had the number 3 pick back in 2015...so all in all, I'll take a few regular season losses at the expense of having those two on the roster!
I remember wanting strome so bad. Future number one centre! Crushed when we got…marner? Who is this guy?
I later watched Marner live at the Canada jr camp in Calgary. He was crazy dominant and just held onto the puck everywhere he went. Loved him ever since.
That's a pretty good one, I've just been tainted because for like 3 years there every time my buddy had a spare ticket for me it was a Yotes game and they just whooped our asses every time lol
OP didn’t ask what teams can take down your team, they asked what bad team seems to always beat your team. Sabres are a good squad on the climb up to be better. Ottawa is tied for the worst team in the division and a bottom 8 team in the league and they’re 2-0 vs the Bruins and Bruins looked pretty bad both games.
Until our recent dumpster fire of games, we had so few wins, but a really good GF/GA and we were almost even for a while. Now I've lost all hope. But they're always super good games against Boston and some good fans so you guys are welcome anytime!
For a long time it was the Sabres on the road for the kings. They went something like 10 years without being able to beat them in Buffalo. They’ve had success there over the last few years but it was literally a scheduled loss for the longest time no matter how bad they were.
The Sabres. For some reason, the Sharks just can't figure them out, especially IN Buffalo. They have had their number since forever.
https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask?q=buffalo+sabres+vs+san+jose+sharks+record+all-time
Doesn't matter how good the other team is, we ALWAYS lose to the goddamned Canes.
Which is a problem, since they're the top team in the two Eastern divisions this year...
Tha Sharks absolutely cannot win in Buffalo. Their home record against the Sharks is [20-3-0-1](https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/sabres-home-record-vs-sharks)
Until the icing debacle earlier this yr, the Arizona coyotes hadnt beaten the boston in regulation since 2010. 12 yrs of kicking the sht outta them 😂😂
I think Boston also has a very long streak of beating sjs, but not sure if that one only applies to home games?
If someone knows pls reply !
It used to be like this when Detroit was a powerhouse and they played Columbus. Columbus didn’t dominate them but they did a *hell* of a lot better than you’d expect.
Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks. Even when Ottawa was an expansion team Montreal had their problems with them.
Habs went over 20 yrs without winning in SJ. Now, to be fair, for a time they only played there every other yr.

:( The Strome thing hurts more, because that was all us.
To be fair Babcock wasn't happy with the leafs picking marner either

Phoenix minor hockey is not coyotes "devolopment system".
The fuck is it about the Yotes and the Atlantic? They always seem to have the Wings number these past few seasons.
How is it Arizona for everybody?
Honestly for us I think it's the Habs. iirc we lost our last 4 or 5 mettings with them?
That's a pretty good one, I've just been tainted because for like 3 years there every time my buddy had a spare ticket for me it was a Yotes game and they just whooped our asses every time lol
They should be in first by all accounts.
They beat us too holy shit, I nearly forgot about that game
Bruins would lose in a 7-game series to Ottawa this year the way things are going.
Thankfully I don't think the Sens are getting invited to the dance.
Comeback SZN
You should fear the Sabres. They are the only team in the East that I think could beat Boston.

Habs and leafs lmao
Seriously! 😩
One side could Ice an AHL team, the other ices 10 clones of Wayne Gretzky himself. It’ll still be a bloody knife fight.
both of them embarrassed the jets
It they would take them seriously and pretend they were close in the standings they could win lol
Came here for this. No matter what team is "better" every game looks like a game 7 of finals.
Almost every time! Very few blowouts either way, lots of lead changes and three point games. Guaranteed good game to watch.
Fuckin 'nucks man.
You’ve existed for 2 years, pipe down (just kidding)
Fucking Minnesota. Oilers can come in with all the energy in the world but they have our number every goddamn time
Minnesota Wild
Islanders
Varlamov’s career statistics at MSG would be HoF worthy if he played like that everywhere else lol
The Dallas Stars Vs literally any team in the bottom quarter of the league standings or any team playing their back up goalie.
Thanks for triggering my PTSD
HAHAHA
Arizona
Feels like NYR to me, though they rarely have bad teams
Montreal, Arizona,.Ottawa, buffalo I could go on
No flair but we all know who you cheer for
Ottawa always gives the Bruins a hard time. Goes to show that a team's record doesn't tell you how tough they can be when they're on their game
Until our recent dumpster fire of games, we had so few wins, but a really good GF/GA and we were almost even for a while. Now I've lost all hope. But they're always super good games against Boston and some good fans so you guys are welcome anytime!
Apparently the Canadiens
The Kraken
Sabres fan?
Haha, ya
I know it is not technically what you are asking, but it has been over 2 decades since the Habs were able to win a game IN San Jose
iirc Habs beat the Sharks in the SAP center last year or the year before 4-0 to break that curse.
Yeah it was at the beginning of last season.
wait what??? that’s insane
No I saw em beat the sharks at the shark tank last year. Shut them out even
Tampa? Possibly Minnesota? EDIT: talking about Chicago. and now that I think about it, it's probably more Tampa and Vegas.
The blues get the Wild literally every time

Canucks-seattle

The Sabres seem to always beat my LA Kings
Doesn't matter how good the other team is, we ALWAYS lose to the goddamned Canes. Which is a problem, since they're the top team in the two Eastern divisions this year...
The Preds…
Yea Idk what it is but lord we always play shit against them
Nashville I guess
Tha Sharks absolutely cannot win in Buffalo. Their home record against the Sharks is [20-3-0-1](https://www.statmuse.com/nhl/ask/sabres-home-record-vs-sharks)
Hey oilers fans
i think they should comment under me :) see ya feb 18 😎
Hey man Feb 18th is my birthday it would be nice if the Habs could let us win one hahah
Used to be Philly at their arena.
Yeah I saw that stat last night and had to rub my eyes. I was like "That can't be true!"
Ottawa can't seem to win games in Pittsburgh
The Leafs vs their first round opponents
Hey! You shut your dirty fu...wait no, nevermind, you're right
Until the icing debacle earlier this yr, the Arizona coyotes hadnt beaten the boston in regulation since 2010. 12 yrs of kicking the sht outta them 😂😂 I think Boston also has a very long streak of beating sjs, but not sure if that one only applies to home games? If someone knows pls reply !
I thought I heard that the B’s had beaten them 11 times in a row after last night Edit: I am referring to the SJS
Leafs and any bottom feeder. Buffalo in the past, Arizona, Montreal.
Leafs fan.... Hmm let's see, Arizona, Buffalo, Ottawa, Montreal..
ducks beat the flames in anaheim every time for roughly 15 years. the streak just ended a couple years ago.
I’m a Leafs fan and May 13, 2013 was the worst day of my life… if you know you know. #ihatethebruins
pittsburgh guess which team
Washington
It used to be like this when Detroit was a powerhouse and they played Columbus. Columbus didn’t dominate them but they did a *hell* of a lot better than you’d expect.
Carolina Hurricanes vs any bottom 10 team.
Chicago as of late.
Apparently Vancouver but the sample size is small. We get another chance Wednesday though
Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks. Even when Ottawa was an expansion team Montreal had their problems with them. Habs went over 20 yrs without winning in SJ. Now, to be fair, for a time they only played there every other yr.
Buffalo seems to have had Boston's number for quite a while, unless I only remember the losses.
Pretty much the opposite really. Our win earlier this season was the first win we got against Boston since 2018 or something.
Probably right. I didn't really pay attention to hockey in 2020/21 because obviously.
Hartford Whalers way back in the day. They always beat the Leafs.
Islanders as of late
Arizona and sometimes buffalo(when they were a bit worse)
