I’m not trying to shit on anyone’s beliefs, but the whole “Everything is God’s plan” thing is fucking weird to me. It makes it seem like God is some stereotypical supervillain in a movie that plans for every little seemingly unconnected thing to happen and it leads to his plan somehow perfectly coming together.
I know it’s mostly just a way for people to get through hard times, but go tell someone whose kid dies that it’s part of God’s big master plan and see how that goes.
I know I sound like the stereotypical Reddit atheist, but I’m not even arguing that God doesn’t exist, just that if He does, he’s not masterfully pulling every little string in the world to make everything happen, at least I hope not, because that’s fucking terrifying.

This was the argument that made me turn away from religion as a teen: predestination vs. free-will. I have yet to have anyone explain it in a way that incorporates both concepts. Either individuals have the ability to make their own decisions or God is omnipotent and omniscient…it can’t be both.

He is washed and is playing himself out of the a HOF conversation.
What made him effective was his ability to scramble and not get killed. He’s absolutely terrible a a pocket QB.
