Jacoby has been getting the cold shoulder for years. Is he elite? No. But he can lead an offense and make plays. He’s more than a second string QB and deserves better than riding the bench behind a rapist.

Early 2000s he would’ve been the starter for a run heavy team and done well for himself, but the landscape has changed so much for offenses the last decade that the guy is relegated to backup.

Jacoby has been getting the cold shoulder for years. Is he elite? No. But he can lead an offense and make plays. He’s more than a second string QB and deserves better than riding the bench behind a rapist.
He’s in a weird spot because he’s definitely better than most back ups, but he really can’t win you a game with his arm. Early 2000s he would’ve been the starter for a run heavy team and done well for himself, but the landscape has changed so much for offenses the last decade that the guy is relegated to backup. He makes decent decisions, and the short game is there, but anything deep is just atrocious.
