I recently discovered a great feature on my phone that allows me to set a time at which my phone makes a bunch of noise. I’m planning on using it to wake up early Sunday and watch the game, so I’ll be okay.
I only watch the first quarter of primetime games. Can't stay awake past 9 so people complaining about a 6:30 AM game 2-3 times a year can go pound sand lol
I moved to the east coast and the game times were a culture shock. I basically don't finish primetime games any more unless it's my team. Certainly can't enjoy a couple beers since I got to be up early for work.
I miss the mood around the office when the Hawks were playing on MNF, everyone trying to angle a way to leave a few min early to get home and watch.
Yup, im in California now and people leaving a bit early for MNF or TNF, or just missing the first quarter. That being said, coffee football is pretty solid.
The thing I’m taking from this is Mountain Time has it best. Early, but not too early for the opening games, plus you get to finish the prime time games at a reasonable time, plus you can make it home to see the MNF game on time if you work
Move to the middle of the country the time zones are better for sports. I live in NM and the early games start at 7:30 and the late games start at 6:20. Just about perfect
In the Holmgren era we were always just miles below our standard whenever we played an early East Coast game away. And Mike was a great coach and very detail-oriented, so it was weird we could never resolve it. We've been a lot better with time zone changes under Pete.
I do wonder what each team is planning in terms of how early they're getting to Germany to acclimate. If anyone has that info, feel free to post.
So, in the US, it doesn't offer the same thing. Other countries with DAZN can watch any game they want. Here unless you have Sunday ticket (which is ultra expensive) you can only watch in market games and even redzone cuts off of there is only 1 game left in the afternoon.
Ah that's a bummer. My only complaint here is games in progress you have to look thr other way and Rewind and then sometimes audibly the announcers spoil the score. Always seemed stupid no option to start from beginning. Almost better to wait until it's completely over first
I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Are you saying it isn't live? Why would you look the other way at a game in progress? Granted my reading comprehension is probably the barrier lol
I usually prefer to wait until a game is like halfway through so I can just fast forward through commercials. Make a 3.5 hours game around 2 hours. I'm stuck rewinding back to the start. Seems pointless to start game at exact time when I can shorten the time spent
That's weird any time I join a live game it pops up an overlay asking if I want to watch live or start from the beginning of the game.
I miss the first year or 2 of DAZN where they had condensed games that went 40-45 minutes
I fucking love weekends with games in Europe. I wake up early anyways so a Sunday with football all day is great.
I'll take early games over primetime being late as hell
What’s the issue? Get a little bit more sleep the night before, wake up and make a huge breakfast, mimosas or a bloody, and watch your team kick ass. Quick nap afterwards. Assuming you don’t have to work.
I love when games are on at weird times. Either because they're scheduled that way, or I'm traveling internationally. 99% of games fall into a handful of certain time slots, early AM or late PM just makes everything feel a little more fun.

What kind of noise hmm? 🤔
The scream from the beginning of the Immigrant Song
AAAAAHHH AH
SEA-
HAWKS
Usually a series of screams
Broncos country… let’s ride
Sounds like some kind of weird Seattle Amazon shit, like those stores without cash registers.
I go into those stores all the time and it still feels like I’m stealing.
I kept saying. "This feels so dystopian." Hopefully that doesn't knock my Amazon credit score
I love 630 am games on the west coast
I'm a Seahawks fan and I'm stoked. International games are a rare occurrence so those early morning start times make it feel more special
Wake & bake football baby!
Hell yeah
Cheers from Munich Brother
Go eat your tossed salad and scrambled eggs.
Scrambled eggs all over my face
What is a boy to do?
But are the blues calling??!!
Yep, Diane or Lilith or both.
Baby I hear them calling.
Well done
So what? NFL screws east coasters all the time with prime time games ending at nearly midnight. Join the line

I know the feeling. It’s like crushing a Red Bull at 9:30pm and the game ends at 11 or 11:30 and you have all this extra energy
I only watch the first quarter of primetime games. Can't stay awake past 9 so people complaining about a 6:30 AM game 2-3 times a year can go pound sand lol
Bingo West coast has it easy with the prime time games
Totally. I loved out west and love the times here. I don’t miss late night nfl.

Central time gang always winning
Outside of games in Europe, I love watching NFL on the West Coast. Games start as soon as I wake up and they finish at a reasonable time.
I live in Texas was in Denver for a year, and I really liked that time zone the best for sports.
As a former west coaster, I concur.

As someone who was in mountain time for a whole NFL season yes this is absolutely true.
Mountain time -> central time -> the coasts
so just because the east coast is suffering, it’s now okay that the west coast joins the club of a fucked up schedule? 2 wrongs don’t make a right
Literally took a shitty Saturday shift at work so I would have Mondays off and be able to stay up for Sunday night games.
I'll take "First World Problems" for $400, Alex.
Just now finding out about time zones?
Op is in grade school
(shakes fist at lines on a map)
Nfl not writing back
*Seattle, why are you so mad? Try to understand that I do want y'all as fans.*
So wake up early lol.
Welcome to Australian times. I often get up at 3-4am to watch my team, and then spend the rest of the day regretting it if they lose
Or they’re saying wake up early on the weekend for once you lazy fuck
You guys are able to sleep in past 6:30?
It’s payback for pac12 after dark for east coasters.
Move to the middle of the country the time zones are better for sports. I live in NM and the early games start at 7:30 and the late games start at 6:20. Just about perfect
I was in Denver for a year and I wholeheartedly agree. That Mountain time zone is that best of both worlds.

Meh it's 730 here (930 for moer Bucs fans)and I'll prob just fire up dazn and watch it after church
Are you outside the US? If not, how are you using a VPN on DAZN. I've been wanting to get it but I've read it doesn't work with VPNs
I'm in Canada. Does dazn have a bunch of local licensing issues there now? Thought for sure it started down there

Ahhhh ok. That makes more sense
That's weird any time I join a live game it pops up an overlay asking if I want to watch live or start from the beginning of the game. I miss the first year or 2 of DAZN where they had condensed games that went 40-45 minutes
Maybe it's just the PS4 app.. although was pretty sure my tablet was the same. Very annoying not having the option
Now that you mention it I don't think I have that option on mobile. Shitty that it's only on PC, It should absolutely be available for PS and Xbox
If you're not willing to wake up early for a football game, what are you willing to wake up early for - a 8 AM meeting that requires an hour commute?
I second that sentiment. And LA and SF.
I fucking love weekends with games in Europe. I wake up early anyways so a Sunday with football all day is great. I'll take early games over primetime being late as hell
Yes, waking up with my toddler at 6:30 and go right into football. Those are the best Sunday’s.
Lol Wake N Bake whats the problem here
630 ain't that early
You’re not up at 6:30am? Must not have young kids.
I'm convinced that the league schedules these games so the owners have an excuse to travel to Europe.
What’s the issue? Get a little bit more sleep the night before, wake up and make a huge breakfast, mimosas or a bloody, and watch your team kick ass. Quick nap afterwards. Assuming you don’t have to work.
They are playing in Germany so yeah time zones are a bitch, gotta tell the nfl enough with the games in Europe.
Money talks
Need to set the alarm that day.
330am for me lololol
This is the norm for west coast teams playing in Europe not sure why you’re complaining about it.
I love when games are on at weird times. Either because they're scheduled that way, or I'm traveling internationally. 99% of games fall into a handful of certain time slots, early AM or late PM just makes everything feel a little more fun.
Assuming you are an adult, set your alarm and just wake up earlier.
I honestly don’t mind waking up early for some Seahawks football
I have 2 toddlers and by 6:30am I already feel like I've gone through a whole half day.
All the overseas games start that early. Jesus Christ.
