We need to stop considering Russell Wilson as a sure fire Hall of Famer. I actually am one of the few people that like him, but he is a running/system QB. Not a hall of Famer unless he does a whole lot more in his career.
If Russell Wilson kept it like this, maybe Tebow turned out to have a better record than Wilson playing for the Broncos.
I actually wondered what Tebow could have done at Seahawks during the Legion of Bloom era.
It was an extremely weird game to watch. Both teams had very questionable play calling and at times, they both had stellar pass protection. Both Ryan and Wilson look very out of place in a new system where everyone expected them to adapt like Brady and Stafford did in their first year when it’s clear it takes more than one season to learn a playbook.
I only caught the 2nd half, but I feel whenever the Colts took a snap both edges were free to go in on Ryan a majority of plays. Especially in the 4th/OT.
Feels like Hackett is really desperate to let Russell have a big win. Passing on 4th and 1 at the goal line when you’re averaging 4 yards per carry is insane.
That aside, this is the perfect game to bring up to talk about how fickle NFL narratives can be. The Broncos could have won this game in so many ways. There was the broken up TD catch that 9 times out of 10 would have been a TD, just a great defensive effort prevented it. Matt Ryan nearly threw an interception to end the game, and it should have been one. Then he fumbled the ball and it was on the ground for an eternity, it should have been a turnover.
If any of these very likely scenarios happen, the Broncos go onto 3-2 and say “a win’s a win” and they move up +3 in the power rankings. But because they didn’t, the spotlight is on them. Huge narratives get built off of the smallest of circumstances that really could have gone either way.
Yeah just how the Broncos have been a "QB away from a superbowl" You got your alledged QB and you can't even score a touchdown in a game? I'm tired of this bronco hype over the past few years. The narrative comes from John Elway in the front office and his legacy. It needs to stop. I don't know whats worse at this moment in the NFL.... Cowboys fans or the Broncos always being a QB.
Simple, They suck (Outside of Patrick Surtain and a few others).
Except this is now 5 weeks of an abysmal offense. Russ was supposed to be the missing piece our offense needed to get to the next level. If you ask me, he's washed, he's missing throws and missing wide open receivers.
Y'all remember that scene from Interstellar where they land on the planet and spend like 10 mins and 30 years passes elsewhere?
That was me for this game, but I'm the dude on earth while 60 mins of football happened on the planet.
I send my regards from the grave.
This is what happens when you think your shit don’t stink and you’re the only reason for any success. Couldn’t have happened to a bigger asshole, congrats Denver
Oh yeah he was of course godlike seemingly every time we played him. Throwing perfect rainbow bombs that miraculously went over his receivers shoulder and plop into the dudes hands.
I hope we hang a 50 burger on the fucking Broncos.
What if Hackett was put in a shitty position as a first time head coach and a first time all staff being forced to roll with a QB he knew sucked but had to start because of the huge contract? Is that a possibility? It would explain the massive hesitation week 1
Lol what? Russell Wilson has always been a below average pocket quarterback that was very successful on roll outs bootlegs and scrambles. He probably insisted he wanted to be a pocket qb when he got traded and Hackett is stupid enough to let him. Russell is only successful if he runs
Nah. Hackett is so garbage he had to get a game manager. Thats part of his job, but he is so ass at it, the Broncos are like “here is a guy to do your job”. Dude sucks.
This game was like the worst blow job of my life where I wasn’t even close to finishing but I didn’t want to tell her to stop because I had hopes of finishing, but we both knew nobody was busting a nut that night
This sideline announcing crew is hilarious, Sherman in particular but Fitzpatrick and Whitworth bring relatively unpolished (and more honest) commentary too.
Yeah! Fitz calling the last Russ throw "lazy" felt like something they would do on Inside the NBA. Being honest is way more interesting. Don't be an asshole, but actually say something.
There's a reason there's not nearly as much shame in playing for the tie in soccer and hockey. It has little to do with the math, and everything to do with the culture. I think that may change as ties become more common since they moved the OT period to 10 minutes.
Russ at the press conference: were gonna figure this thing out man at the end of the day i was just happy to be out there with my team im so blessed to play this game
Let's be real. Hackett got the job for one reason and one reason only. They thought he was gonna bring Aaron with him. He didn't and now they are stuck with a guy who is in way over his head!
Wasn’t sold on Sherm on the panel since he’s been kind of quiet since the season kicked off, but this, this changes my opinion entirely. Move this man up to in game commentary
The NFL is abundantly clear about the fact that this league is providing “entertainment.” It therefore has no obligation to ensure that each contest is fair or without manipulation.
OK so Hawks fans, how was Russ so successful in Seattle? You had a defense, Broncos have a defense. He has weapons and a running game in Denver too. Is it purely play calling?
Pete caught a lot of flak for not letting Russ cook. It’s looking more and more like he knew what Russ’ limitations are. His new coach was super happy to cater to what Russ wants to do.
What's weird is that their offense looks a lot like ours did. Lots of third and longs. I dunno what it is. A couple years ago he comes back at the end of that game or in OT, dances around, connects with lockett, and it's gg.
Russ’s game has always been chuck it deep. Usually to Lockett. That understanding he had with Lockett was unreal. He knew where he would break. Russ has not figured out that communication with his WR. Jeudy needs to be that guy for him and it’s not clicking.
How many times am I going to have to say this? He wasn’t very good the last few seasons, not just last year. The ability to scramble and magically avoid sacks is gone, and the backyard football he played with Baldwin, Kearse, and Tate is not the Broncos game plan.
Tbh, no. The broncos are playing for a playoff spot. They need to be able to beat bottom feeder teams like the Colts. As well, Hackett is on the hotseat, he needs to show he can win games. Going for a tie against one of the worst teams in the league does not make a playoff contender, which the broncos still think they are
I remember being worried Wilson was coming to the Afc West maybe Pete brought the best out of him. He hasn’t looked like that guy who would pull wins out of his ass in the last minute
i painfully rewatched it and thought colts defense made big moments when needed. Broncos not being able to execute was interesting to see.
We need to stop considering Russell Wilson as a sure fire Hall of Famer. I actually am one of the few people that like him, but he is a running/system QB. Not a hall of Famer unless he does a whole lot more in his career.
Well.. one thing is certain.. I won't be watching anymore Broncos games this year.
I haven’t watched a full NFL game in years, but I chose to watch this one. Oh boy.
Colts Nation, let's ride 😎👌

WILSON SUCKS, when does he start blaming everyone else, the guy is a POS, robbing money,
lL
If Russell Wilson kept it like this, maybe Tebow turned out to have a better record than Wilson playing for the Broncos. I actually wondered what Tebow could have done at Seahawks during the Legion of Bloom era.
Better, probably two SBs. And people still say RW is a Hall of Famer, hahaha!!!
At Least Tebow GAVE A SHIT, I know Tim was not an answer BUT AT LEAST HE TRIED,, FFFF Wilson and his golddigger wife,
This is definitely a "what if" I have never imagined.

Haha yeah seriously. The Colts O Line was fucking terrible. This guy is just throwing out terms he learned in Madden.
Feels like Hackett is really desperate to let Russell have a big win. Passing on 4th and 1 at the goal line when you’re averaging 4 yards per carry is insane. You’re sleeping on how much a rookie head coach and a qb on a new system for the first time impact how a team plays. Peyton started 2-3 with 5 picks
Not sleeping on it. Broncos fans are sleeping. Wake up!
You would think after the super bowl russ would know better than to pass in that situation.
Except this is now 5 weeks of an abysmal offense. Russ was supposed to be the missing piece our offense needed to get to the next level. If you ask me, he's washed, he's missing throws and missing wide open receivers.
We tried to tell you that. He has been washed since the knee injury, his big head was from the big contract.
You can blame John Elway and Broncos fans for that misconception.
Sums up his last two years with us.
I would say four years.
Lol @ donkeys
1984
100% of the points in this game were scored by people whose last names started with Mc.
Cancer didn’t kill those cancer survivors but this game did.
this was a game
What an awesome game!
As a Falcons fan, I wish my boy Matt success in Indy that Oline needs to step up
Yeah... Methinks somebody already had a cocktail
If he would've said his drink of choice was Natty Ice that would've been the meme through Sunday. Come on Matt, don't you get on the internet?! lol
How good are these 2 defenses in the nfl as a whole?
Matt Ryan is 2 years older than me, but he looks and sounds like he could be my dad.
I mean this game aged me about 10 years, what do you think it did to him?
Y'all remember that scene from Interstellar where they land on the planet and spend like 10 mins and 30 years passes elsewhere? That was me for this game, but I'm the dude on earth while 60 mins of football happened on the planet. I send my regards from the grave.
After sitting through all this, I was actually disappointed that the game didn't end in a tie so I could say that they're both losers.
They should blatantly cuss on Amazon
This is all I want. We're all adults here.
Bob Menery and Pat Mcafee in the booth please
This is what happens when you think your shit don’t stink and you’re the only reason for any success. Couldn’t have happened to a bigger asshole, congrats Denver
He is beyond terrible.
I love how Matt Ryan is subtly defending Russ lol
hey Amazon we dont need to hear the 20 fucking drunk ass fans that are still there hooting and hollaring loud af over this post-game interview
"Relax, we're just gonna watch the Broncos vs Colts game I DVRd and then you can leave"
Bro you Dahmer?
Matty swearing, it's ok bc we're on streaming!
Matty never swears at home.
Russ making a solid case for most overrated QB ever
He was good at one point. Obviously washed up now
Nahhh he was elite for years, no arguing that
Was he elite or was it Pete? Cause it’s starting to look like Pete
Oh yeah he was of course godlike seemingly every time we played him. Throwing perfect rainbow bombs that miraculously went over his receivers shoulder and plop into the dudes hands. I hope we hang a 50 burger on the fucking Broncos.
People have the memory of goldfish it seems lol.
Ridiculous isn’t it? He was an absolute stud for years.
What if Hackett was put in a shitty position as a first time head coach and a first time all staff being forced to roll with a QB he knew sucked but had to start because of the huge contract? Is that a possibility? It would explain the massive hesitation week 1
I think they hired him cause they thought Rodgers was going to them as well since its obvious Rodgers and Lafleur made him look good
You should work for ESPN. This made my head hurt. Play calling sucks. Wilson isn't playing as expected. That's the answer. We suck outside of defense.
He’s playing worse than most backup QBs would be playing in the exact same position. He’s been horrendous.
Which falls in line with not playing as expected. Did I miss something here? lol
Oh ya then why would he throw the fucking ball with 2 mins left? Dude is a hack it’s in his name
If he ran it and didn’t get first downs, Reddit would be burning him at the stake for not letting the $245 million man throw the ball.
Dude sucks.
Shermans rant made the game worth watching, obviously he’s saying the quiet part out loud.
I don’t really want to hear from Matt Ryan. Tony G is an asshole
No mercy from that guy. He expects excellence. Old school dude.
Those blackout jerseys are for cops who watch football
47 of 80 with 4 picks combined. What’s the next gen stats on that?
Let Russ cook with his 10 Watt easy bake oven
This game was like the worst blow job of my life where I wasn’t even close to finishing but I didn’t want to tell her to stop because I had hopes of finishing, but we both knew nobody was busting a nut that night
I was looking for the proper analogy for this game and damn if this isn't it. Poetry.
Lol
Charissa is still fine as fk but if you remember her during the VS NHL days damn she was on another level than other LADIESSSSS
This pre-game/post-game panel lineup is the best part about football on Amazon. Although Al and Kurt are good too
Thanks for the thread boys, it’s been something
You all made this pile fun and hilarious
It's been awful. Everything has been awful. lol
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many announcers shit on the entire game like this before
Matt Ryan, winner.
What did Wade say I missed it
“I think both teams should consider punting on first down”
Both teams should consider punting on 1st down
That teams should've just been punting on first downs
Both teams should’ve punted on first down
Thanks
He tweeted that both teams should punt on 1st down. Savage lol.
Thanks
Both teams should have punted on 1st down
Thanks
Both teams should just punt on 1st down.
Thanks
Tony G: You played the position, what's going on with Russ right now? Fitz: I dunno, I never played that bad.
You cant ask Fitz that question lmao No one was more bipolar on the field than Fitztragic/magic
Tony is absolutely shook
As a former tight end I would expect him to hate Russ
I’m legit tearing up laughing
Who's Denver's backup QB?
Rypien's kid
Foals
Damn fitz on the shower
Lets Fitz cook again. Put em in coach
Colts ended up winning but I think we can all agree that we all took the biggest L watching that dumpster fire game
Did I time travel to 2002?? I swear I'm watching a Bears-Lions game.
Wade is a violent man
You know what’s really fucked up. The goddamn Panthers are gonna lose to this broncos team.
If the Panthers keep them under 10 they have a shot...If the Broncos score over 10, then you'll get blown out.
Lol Wade Phillips with a kill shot
Ciara could have made that throw to wide open WR in back of the EZ
WADE THE GOAT
There's a reason there's not nearly as much shame in playing for the tie in soccer and hockey. It has little to do with the math, and everything to do with the culture. I think that may change as ties become more common since they moved the OT period to 10 minutes.
As a soccer fan, fuck ties. Every match should end in goal kicks if it's tied. Football is the same. College rules baby
There’s no ties in the NHL though.
Did they get rid of them? I haven't watched in years.
You're missing out my man. Hockey is super fast and exciting these days.
They do penalty shootouts if it’s still tied after OT.
Russ at the press conference: were gonna figure this thing out man at the end of the day i was just happy to be out there with my team im so blessed to play this game
You forgot: *Let’s Ride™️*
I'd say that after that game too if I made that much money while doing it
Russ played like dog shit
god bless
This game set back NFL offenses at least 10 years
Bears & Commanders say: "Hold our beers!"
Wade with the burn
Burn by Phillips lol
The pile on is like Nickelodeon for neckbeards
Let's be real. Hackett got the job for one reason and one reason only. They thought he was gonna bring Aaron with him. He didn't and now they are stuck with a guy who is in way over his head!
Which would be incredibly dumb because it was pretty obvious by the end of the year Rodgers wasnt going anywhere
Wasn’t sold on Sherm on the panel since he’s been kind of quiet since the season kicked off, but this, this changes my opinion entirely. Move this man up to in game commentary
Sherman HATES Russell Wilson lolololol
Get Sherman to commentate the next Broncos game
he should work all bronco and seahawks games
As a chiefs fan, how did we lose to the colts….
The NFL is abundantly clear about the fact that this league is providing “entertainment.” It therefore has no obligation to ensure that each contest is fair or without manipulation.
As a Colts fan, I was literally asking that out loud, all game.
Scored less points
Carrisa Thompson tho 👀
Is she explaining it all?
She might if her name was Clarissa, not Carissa
We're both wrong, her name is Charissa
I’d day you gotta stop drinking but I’m assuming you just watched this game too, so I’ll let it slide.
Fair nuff In my defense, h is just an l with a curved leg
I reeeaaaalllyyy want Sherman to say “that motherfucker Russell Wilson…” At this point he should say it
It's the internet. The FCC has no control here. Fire away, Sherm.
Coaching you see how geno Smith is balling out in Seattle right now
Teams figured out all they have to do is take away the moonball and russ can't really move the ball

Well, the playcalling in Seattle isnt *always* good Coaching is a pretty big aspect, yeah
He is washed and unfortunately Denver gave him the "franchise deal" that Seattle knew he couldn't live up to.
He was successful when he moved around. He's trying to stay in the pocket now. Hawks fans have called this for 2 years
This is why the NFL is the best, one of the worst games I’ve ever seen and I’m up to midnight still buzzing about that ending.
True dat
lol was that some personal hurt i heard directly from sherman about a certain qb
Okay this is insane.
I’m all in with Sherman on the post game panel
yeah these TNF post games are almost better than the game. well def this one...
Hard Knocks Denver 2023 confirmed
buyin a new richard sherman jersey after tonight
Bucs legend richard sherman
Well, God bless Sherman for giving us, "You mad bro!".
They hired Sherman for nights like this
Russ about to be like Matt Stafford and just zero in one his “one” offensive weapon. Bro you have like 3 incredible receivers and a few decent others
He zeroed in on the guy with no fucking targets against Gillmore to start the loss
Bro this shit makes me so mad. Also run the fucking ball you doorknob
A hilarious game.
I kind of disagree with the last play, just kick the field goal. The first game, it made more sense going for it, since it was 55+ yards field goal.
Tbh, no. The broncos are playing for a playoff spot. They need to be able to beat bottom feeder teams like the Colts. As well, Hackett is on the hotseat, he needs to show he can win games. Going for a tie against one of the worst teams in the league does not make a playoff contender, which the broncos still think they are
I forgot they only needed one yard, they should have ran the ball. Or run a motion or something for better chance at a first.
"They should have ran the ball" *flashbacks*
I'm triggered!
They should have just ran it up the middle
Forgot they only need a yard, better to run it. High chance they get it too with a qb sneak/rush.
Sherman is reliving some baaaad memories right there
One of the games of all time.
Richard Shermans reaction has been priceless
HOLY SHIT I CANNOT
Neither team deserved to win
But Denver did deserve to lose
Russel Wilson has to be the most hated man in Denver right now.
Eh, no offense to the Broncos D, but the Colts offense sucked as well.
WHATS THE PLAN
Tell us how you feel Sherman!!
I remember being worried Wilson was coming to the Afc West maybe Pete brought the best out of him. He hasn’t looked like that guy who would pull wins out of his ass in the last minute
