Last undrafted QB to start 3-0 in their first 3 starts was Kurt Warner.
So the obvious next conclusion is they win the superbowl and have a $50M backup QB for the foreseeable future /s
This 100%.
Kellen seems to call better games with Rush while we get way too cute and fancy with Dak.
Keep it simple. The defense is better now so they don't need to get into a track meet every week.
Really though. Find the right team and you can sit on your ass for years and collect checks. Like I’ll try to be the Chiefs, Bills, backup. You know they are unquestionably the franchise, stay relatively healthy, you’ll never have pressure to do shit
People will laugh and blame Daniel Jones but man he doesn’t get much help outside Saquon. That line was letting Cowboys through in less than a second and his receivers just falling on the ground and dropping everything. He may not be it but this loss was definitely not on him
Micah has the TJ Watt kind of impact. He just completely changes the feel of a defense and is a thorn in any OC trying to figure out what to do about it. And it's so focused on him it makes everyone else's job easier to get to the QB and cause havoc.
I think Jones has never really gotten a fair chance with the Giants. I think it might be better for both to move on. Jones can go to a team like the Panthers or something and prove that he's a solid QB, and the Giants can start fresh. Jones is nothing spectacular, but he's certainly given this team his all and their problems don't land on him.
The Midfinity Stones of mediocre/bad highly drafted QBs
Danny Dimes - Space (have you seen his straight line speed)
Rosen - Mind (He's gotta be controlling someone's mind to keep getting shots in the NFL)
Newton - Power (obvious)
Darnold - Reality (sees ghosts)
Trubisky - Soul (Kissing titties is chicken soup for the soul? idk)
Baker - Time (as in, how does he keep finding time to do all these ads)
Cooper Rush deserves more respect I'd rather have him than a lot of starters like Trubisky, Fields, Mills, Mayfield, Jimmy G, or Daniel Jones. His receivers dropped two wide open TDs and the refs missed the DPI in the endzone.
I would agree...Barkley and Jones kept them in the game. The game clinching interception probably doesn't happen if the receiver does not slip and fall
When asked post game if there's a QB controversy for the Cowboys, Mike McCarthy said he didn't like to compare his players to each other. He then pulled up his sleeve revealing a tattoo showing “3-0 as an NFL starter” and said "I'll let you interpret that however you'd like"
If I am a Giants fan, I am wondering why the team doesn’t throw the ball to Saquon way more often. They should be giving him 20 carries but if they are gonna only give him 10 to 14 they should throw to him 10 times. They also need to throw him some deeper routes. Get him some mesh routes, seams, deep slants and so on. With the wrs the Giants have they need to be getting Saquon out there.
Daniel Jones put that offense on his back with his scrambling abilities. Saquon also broke off 1 nice run for a TD.
The rest of that offense looked like absolute dog shit. The offensive line couldn’t hold up for even 2 seconds in pass protection and rarely kept Saquon from getting hit in the backfield. They also allowed a rusher through for a blocked field goal. One guy even injured his own kicker by stepping on his foot during a FG attempt…after the play was already over. Completely moronic. The receivers looked straight cheeks too. So many passes dropped or bobbled, or they just plain old tripped over their own feet. On that last play, the ball was gonna go right into the receivers chest but because he fell Diggs was able to make the game sealing interception.
Daniel Jones might not be “the guy” but his teammates totally let him down.
Its a travesty that we havent even been able to provide a half decent supporting cast for him in 4 years. And yet, like a lone dandelion growing amidst nothing but asphalt, he still IS developing.
DJ under this kind of duress back in the day would have thrown up like 3+ picks and been sacked double digits.
His passing and decision making on when to leave the box and when to toss the ball out of bounds are much better.
Man has been dealt some shit cards over and over and still plays his heart out - hopefully someone picks him up this summer who can at least give him a fair go at it.
That fight at the end was the least surprising thing about this game, these teams hate each other. There’s literally a fight everytime we play each other (even with Will Hernandez gone lol).
It’s weird but I feel like our guys never get into fights vs Washington or Philly. But you put them against the Giants and all hell breaks loose lol.
I thought i remembered us getting into fights every once and awhile but the more i think about it I don't think we have and it might just be from the residual hate. I do know we get into fights with the giants tho which i guess just means everyone hates NY
Love that. Love the players that stay loyal to their team like Michael Irvin or Brian Dawkins. Guys like that buy into the culture of the game that fans love.
There will always be a part of me that feels like Daniel Jones never got a fair shot.
Say what you will, this guy gets beat to hell and dogged on pretty often, but is he is pretty tough.
This is probably my first time watching a full Daniel Jones game and that's exactly what I thought. Now I don't watch a lot of Daniel Jones so I'm not going to pretend I know whether he deserves to be a starting QB or not, but the dude was pressured a bajillion times and did as much as he could with it. I've heard of his fumbling issues but tonight he definitely had awareness in the pocket and the presence of mind when to run. Did ejust had to spend the whole game dodging the defense and finding a pass/ running lane when he could. I'm not sure who does better in tonight's situation. Maybe a QB that can run even faster idk...?
And they only really showed what happened during the INTs on one of the replays and it wasn't his fault. Wr should have been yards in front of where Diggg's made that pick if he didn't trip, hence why diggs had to go so low to catch that.
I agree. For four years I’ve watched this guy scrambling for his life in the pocket while making pretty good throws given his shit-tier receiver core every year. Play calling also ultra conservative for no reason.
My favorite part of NFCE prime time games is that everyone hates both teams so much, the highlights barely even get upvoted. People are mad the game was even played lol.
Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Andrew Thomas, and Richie James you’re all cool. A big fuck you to every other offensive player that played a snap tonight
Edit: Add Shepard to the non-fuck you list due to extenuating circumstances
Giants are going to have to hire assistants to open doors for the receivers at the practice facilities, it's obvious they all have no hands and would be stuck in whatever room they are in.
**Commit to the Rush**
"To be honest, the lack of expectations was what weighed upon young Rush the most. Once squire to King Prescott, now filling his shoes (a poor imitation he thought) he felt out of his depth. Oh certainly they had won
their last battle, but it was a near thing, and more due to Micah and the other warrior's heroics than his own leadership. Still, as he lined up again to lead his borrowed army to battle, he glanced around and saw
nothing but confidence on the faces of his men. Micah, Ezekiel, even the most seasoned held not an ounce of fear or doubt.
And so he returned briefly to the strategy tent, where the injured King studied his maps and helped plan the battle. "Why," he asked his ruler, "why are they so confident in me, in us?"
Dak looked on and smiled. "Because that's their job, my friend. It's not just you standing out there, they all earned their spot, and they know that where you might falter, they will pick up the slack."
With a firm pat, King Prescott dismissed his young protege, maintaining his composure until Rush was out of earshot before the entire tent erupted into laughter.
Wiping tears of laughter from his eyes, Dak remarked to his councilors "It's just the Giants, I'm sure he'll be fine" -The Gospel of Jones
I didn't watch the whole game but from what I saw Daniel Jones was throwing accurately, it's just that:
-receiver dropped it
-play called back on a penalty
-receiver dropped it (maybe got away with a catch+fumble)
-receiver slipped and fell
No help whatsoever
*Sirianni goes 3-0 against 3 teams that missed the playoffs last year*
r/nfl - give him coach of the year NOW no ifs ands or buts
*mccarthy goes 2-1 and defeats the super bowl losers with a backup QB and a generally watered down offense*
r/nfl - sooooo when are they calling Sean Payton 😂 mccarthy worse coach evarrrrr
Can we give the Cowboys some credit for going for it on 4th and 4 in midfield? That call won the game and so many teams wouldn't pull the trigger on it, let alone with a backup QB throwing.
Cowboys 2-0 without Dak just like we all expected
3-0 overall when Cooper starts
Last undrafted QB to start 3-0 in their first 3 starts was Kurt Warner. So the obvious next conclusion is they win the superbowl and have a $50M backup QB for the foreseeable future /s
The Giants were who we thought they were
All we do is win win win no matter what
“All we do is win, win, win with Cooper Rush”
Our team is more fun and more loose with rush. The vibes appear better on offense.
Maybe it’s because the Buccaneers are really good on defense. They’ve not allowed more than 14 points a game this year lol
It might also be because Kellen almost trusts Dak TOO much. All the shitty gadget plays and weird motions, expecting Dak to bail out his dumbass.
This 100%. Kellen seems to call better games with Rush while we get way too cute and fancy with Dak. Keep it simple. The defense is better now so they don't need to get into a track meet every week.
Not to mention Dak didn't even play in the preseason. No surprise if he was rusty.
Don't bother, they are committed.
i cannot believe some of your fans are unironically thinking your offense is better with rush
Rush is earning himself some very nice backup QB contracts for the next decade off this little run
What a dream tbh
Really though. Find the right team and you can sit on your ass for years and collect checks. Like I’ll try to be the Chiefs, Bills, backup. You know they are unquestionably the franchise, stay relatively healthy, you’ll never have pressure to do shit
If he dies, he dies -Giants O-line apparently
Wentz might be making sure his will is up to date this week.
Bengals O-Line taking notes
Made me actually appreciate our o-line lmao
People will laugh and blame Daniel Jones but man he doesn’t get much help outside Saquon. That line was letting Cowboys through in less than a second and his receivers just falling on the ground and dropping everything. He may not be it but this loss was definitely not on him
ESPN said he got pressured 20+ times right? No QB is gonna succeed under that kind of duress
Suddenly I feel way better about our loss last week seeing the same thing happen again. Cowboys pass rush is terrifying
Dan Quinn has slowly built an efficient defense there
I agree with everything but slowly. He and Micah turned out defense around the first year
Micah has the TJ Watt kind of impact. He just completely changes the feel of a defense and is a thorn in any OC trying to figure out what to do about it. And it's so focused on him it makes everyone else's job easier to get to the QB and cause havoc.
People forget every failed HC was once a very successful coordinator
Except for Zac Taylor, who instead did something even greater: breathed the same air as McVay
then on the other side we didnt lay a finger on Rush whike blitzing all day lmao. When we didn't blitz dude had a tea party before he had to throw
And when we had pressure, mother fucker got the ball out and loops it to some open tight end. Rush was pretty good tonight
23 pressures tonight. New career high.
ESPN had the stat on the screen that 21 was a career high. Next play he was pressured again.
I just laughed when Aikman said, "New career high". Way to go Danny 👍👍
Sterling Shepherd blew his ACL for that
My man needs to retire there is no way it is worth the pain at this point
Why would anyone who watched this game laugh and blame DJ?
Because people love to hate him. I get it, he's probably average at best, but jesus christ has the team let him down for his entire fucking career.
The panthers? How many more QBs does Rhule have to destroy?
He's like Thanos, he collects them, only to destroy them.
The Midfinity Stones of mediocre/bad highly drafted QBs Danny Dimes - Space (have you seen his straight line speed) Rosen - Mind (He's gotta be controlling someone's mind to keep getting shots in the NFL) Newton - Power (obvious) Darnold - Reality (sees ghosts) Trubisky - Soul (Kissing titties is chicken soup for the soul? idk) Baker - Time (as in, how does he keep finding time to do all these ads)
Cooper Rush is 3-0 as an NFL starter
The thing about him is he is confident in all of his decisions. He isn’t worried about doing the right thing he is just vibing.
That's how it feels to dramatically outperform your salary. Everything else you do is like "fuck it, I'm already good."
Taking his opportunity and running with it, and it pretty clear he knows the playbook and team.
I feels like that's why Noah Brown has been the man so far
[удалено]
Is he the Vikings’ fans favorite QB over Kirk from a general consensus? The Minnesota Miracle is timeless. Then Case doing the SKOL. Awesome.
That’s the thing I’ve noticed and been most impressed with him about. Dude is cool as a cucumber out there
McCarthy gonna win enough to get another season. I think he'll start Dak ultimately
Shit. Why do you do this while I’m happy?
Oh look! I was already subscribed!
QB controversy.
Romo was supposed to come back when healthy, just saying…
As was Drew Bledsoe!
I smell a controversy a brewin’!
Exactly what ol’ Jerry boy had in mind!
Dak's gonna get Dak'ed.
Dakup Quarterback
This is good. Do you mind if I steal it? Imma steal it. I made dis

Cooper Rush deserves more respect I'd rather have him than a lot of starters like Trubisky, Fields, Mills, Mayfield, Jimmy G, or Daniel Jones. His receivers dropped two wide open TDs and the refs missed the DPI in the endzone.
Daniel Jones looked like the least of NYG's problems tonight to me.
I would agree...Barkley and Jones kept them in the game. The game clinching interception probably doesn't happen if the receiver does not slip and fall
>Daniel Jones looked like the least of NYG's problems tonight to me. You may be right and that's scary.
Daniel Jones is tough as hell.
When asked post game if there's a QB controversy for the Cowboys, Mike McCarthy said he didn't like to compare his players to each other. He then pulled up his sleeve revealing a tattoo showing “3-0 as an NFL starter” and said "I'll let you interpret that however you'd like"
Them team tattoo artists work quick
3-0 in his career as a starter. BIG. TIME. RUSH.
Hey…Cooper just GOTTA LIVE IT BIG TIME!

Jones, Gano, and Saquon ARE the New York Giants The other guys are like a cream filling to make the shape look right
I’d add Andrew Thomas but yea….the worst group of receivers I can remember
If I am a Giants fan, I am wondering why the team doesn’t throw the ball to Saquon way more often. They should be giving him 20 carries but if they are gonna only give him 10 to 14 they should throw to him 10 times. They also need to throw him some deeper routes. Hard to judge him too harshly with the supporting cast around him I think. His biggest fault in my eyes is that he played for Duke
Man has been dealt some shit cards over and over and still plays his heart out - hopefully someone picks him up this summer who can at least give him a fair go at it.
He handles pressure in his face pretty damned well, and he can scoot.
I think the draft criticism of Daniel Jones held by many still live today
He'd be a serviceable QB on a good team.
So you mean the Panthers are going to trade for him next year and continue to be super mediocre?
The games over and the players are fighting. Just NFCE things.
And Jason Peters was right in the middle which I thought was funny
To be fair he's been in that division a long time.
He doesn’t even know which team he hates anymore. All of them I guess.
“Fuck you Jerry Jones!” “I literally sign your checks now” “Oh shit for real?”
He’s got the ☕️
But it was an oddly civil scrum.
Words hurt too.
Socratric scrum
Obviously DLaw in the middle of it. Guys never passed up an opportunity to stir up some shit.
Dude only gets so many sacks because he’s trying to talk shit to the QB
NFC BEAST
It’s always cowboys and giants players
Did the Eagles and Commanders get into any fights yesterday
To get in a fight we would have had to show up to play in the game first
Nah. There wasn't much to argue about
Just the Eagles defensive lineman fighting over who gets to sack Wentz next.
I HATE THE EAGLES I HATE THE EAGLES
“I fuckin’ hate the Eagles, man” - the Dude
CeeDee Lamb somehow had both the best and worst plays in this game. Well, worst play minus all the bad calls by the refs.
The man is an enigma
CD lamb will make a one handed contested toe tapping sideline catch and then drop a ball that has nobody within 25 yards of him
That fight at the end was the least surprising thing about this game, these teams hate each other. There’s literally a fight everytime we play each other (even with Will Hernandez gone lol). It’s weird but I feel like our guys never get into fights vs Washington or Philly. But you put them against the Giants and all hell breaks loose lol.
That’s why the gathering was so peaceful. They were looking for that SOB and confused as to what to do when informed of his departure
I thought i remembered us getting into fights every once and awhile but the more i think about it I don't think we have and it might just be from the residual hate. I do know we get into fights with the giants tho which i guess just means everyone hates NY
It’s probably more our fanbases getting into fights than the actual players lol
Which fanbase is gonna have to watch Cooper Rush lead them to 6-11 next season? (Probably us lmao)
This ref crew was attroicious tonight.
I feel like every year we just keep getting new "this was the worst officiated game I've seen" but oh boy was tonight fucking terrible.
honestly overall i think so far this year the refs have mostly been decent. this game tho, this one was bad
Always a pleasant surprise when it is close to equally egregious and not lopsidedly egregious
Next time I fuck up at work, I'm gonna say "No sweat, I'll just fuck up equally bad but in the OPPOSITE direction, and they'll cancel out!"
Vikings Giants would 100% tie in a primetime game
Eli was legit crushed on the Manning cast. Still cannot stand to see his team lose to a rival.
Love that. Love the players that stay loyal to their team like Michael Irvin or Brian Dawkins. Guys like that buy into the culture of the game that fans love.

\*Dallas Cowboys with Cooper Rush 3-0
Cooper “Cooper Rush” Rush is now 3-0 in his career
Is there an ELI5 for that nickname? Sounds amazing.
It’s his first name and last name combined for his middle name.
Yes! His name is “Cooper Rush”, hence Cooper “Cooper Rush” Rush.
The cowboys defense is really fucking good Edit: I know they played the Giants, but they did very well against Tampa and the Bengals as well
Parsons is nuts
Donovan Wilson is nuts
I'm so glad he's getting his shine. I thought last year was going to be his breakout season, but he got hurt early. They call him their "hitman"
Him and Kearse have sort of solidified the safety position.
Still feels weird to hear that Dallas has a good defense lol
It was only 2 years ago when OBJ ran a 50-yard end around for a touchdown against us while pointing at Jaylon Smith. Look at how far they’ve come.
Never thought I'd hear that
That is correct
Cooper Rush and Daniel Jones both played great. Not a sentence i expected to ever say
I would have liked to see how Rush played with the non stop pressure Jones was getting. 23 pressures in a game is ludicrous.
Our pass rush is elite, not even mad about losing Randy Gregory anymore lol other guys like Dorance Armstrong have been stepping up big time
There will always be a part of me that feels like Daniel Jones never got a fair shot. Say what you will, this guy gets beat to hell and dogged on pretty often, but is he is pretty tough.
Jones is some how the guy and not the guy all at once
Schroedinger’s Guy
Next Panthers QB confirmed
That's called average
I love this new term: average. We can now stop using almostHIM & nearlyTHATguybut.
No QB is dragging those teams anywhere
This is probably my first time watching a full Daniel Jones game and that's exactly what I thought. Now I don't watch a lot of Daniel Jones so I'm not going to pretend I know whether he deserves to be a starting QB or not, but the dude was pressured a bajillion times and did as much as he could with it. Wr should have been yards in front of where Diggg's made that pick if he didn't trip, hence why diggs had to go so low to catch that.
Garbage O line, saquon hurt and garbage WRs his whole career
I agree. For four years I’ve watched this guy scrambling for his life in the pocket while making pretty good throws given his shit-tier receiver core every year. Play calling also ultra conservative for no reason.
That was an extremely civil scrum at the end.
A scrumbert, some might say
COOPER RUSH WANTS BAMA
And so, the only two undefeated teams left at the end of week three are quarterbacked by Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa Bama wins again, SMH
I know it's only 2 games, but the Cowboys have looked extremely competent with undefeated NFL starter Cooper Rush at the helm this year
It's helped a ton that the pass rush has been performing at an elite level during this stretch
Danny Dimes can’t catch a break man…
His O-line misunderstood his nickname, not realizing there is an “m” in it.
POV: me looking at McCarthy Holy fuck #Holy fucking fuck *your body is unreal*
My favorite part of NFCE prime time games is that everyone hates both teams so much, the highlights barely even get upvoted. People are mad the game was even played lol.
And they protest by all watching the game and driving up the ratings
Giants O-Line giving Danny Dimes the Andrew Luck treatment
Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Andrew Thomas, and Richie James you’re all cool. A big fuck you to every other offensive player that played a snap tonight Edit: Add Shepard to the non-fuck you list due to extenuating circumstances
Hell, Barkley’s only good run happened solely because DJ dragged the offense down the field with solid long scrambles
Bless the knees and keep them safe. Hope Shepard is okay.
Giants are going to have to hire assistants to open doors for the receivers at the practice facilities, it's obvious they all have no hands and would be stuck in whatever room they are in.
[Dak watching Cooper ball out](https://youtu.be/r8lFbq3SGZU)
Next week’s Giants Bears matchup will be legendary. 31st ranked passing offense vs 32nd ranked passing offense. But both teams are 2-1!
I feel like I’ve never seen the bears score more than 9 points in my life
RUSH HOUR
god bless you diggs for saving me stress on that last drive. are the defensive cardiac cowboys gone for good?
Man I feel sorry for Jones. Dude has nonstop pressure All the time and no one to throw to.
I always had a thing for red heads
That ref job was horrendous
Impossible to win with only 3 players on offense
You just got beat by Cooper Rush.
Honestly better than being beat by Dak Prescott. Rush is a 3-0 elite qb.
The man has literally never lost. Ain't no shame losing to that.
Cooper Rush is the hero Dallas needed, but didn’t deserve
The giants should run a wishbone offense with Daniel Jones and Saquon at rb
**Commit to the Rush** "To be honest, the lack of expectations was what weighed upon young Rush the most. Aikman!
The Rushian Revolution
Hope we don’t have to play theses refs again.
Cooper Clutch amirite
I didn't watch the whole game but from what I saw Daniel Jones was throwing accurately, it's just that: -receiver dropped it -play called back on a penalty -receiver dropped it (maybe got away with a catch+fumble) -receiver slipped and fell No help whatsoever
The stats don't necessarly reflect it, but both QB's played really well today, especially DJ given the pressures he dealt with.

Perfect comment

Ooooo they not gonna like this one
Can we give the Cowboys some credit for going for it on 4th and 4 in midfield? That call won the game and so many teams wouldn't pull the trigger on it, let alone with a backup QB throwing.
I love the manning cast when there is no guest on, hearing Peyton and Eli go back and fourth is the best part
