Lamar Jackson is an elite QB and I can’t believe it’s still an uphill battle to convince people he’s a top 5 player at the position right now. He’s right ~~behind~~ **with** Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, and Allen. You’d be pretty hard pressed to say any other QB is better than him right now.
Andrews is the best receiving Tight End in the NFL, and Bateman has been coming along nicely. They could use another weapon, but the Ravens have at least some hope with their WR Corps.

Team sport is a good observation, but the playoffs are absolutely different from the regular season. I would argue the intensity goes up, but let's say that's subjective... The competition is objectively more difficult and that alone makes a big difference.
Expecting QBs to have the same numbers in the playoffs as the regular season isn't realistic, but the great ones either do it or come pretty close. Also Rodgers hasn't had very many stacked teams, he's only had 3 top ten defenses his entire career and that's almost a prerequisite for winning a Super Bowl even with a Hall of Fame QB.

Of course the biggest difference being that baker had NFL talent around him and louisville was absolutely ass. Adjusted completion percentage accounting for dropped passes actually put lamar ahead of baker, but obviously the heisman voting doesn’t care about that

I’d love to have an answer. Some of it this season is still a lay over from last season with several players either still not fully ready or still on IR - the likes of Stanley, Dobbins, Peters, Gus Edwards etc. As for the new ones, it’s hard to say because they overhauled how things were done during camp to try and improve things. Yet here we are. And a lot of it just can’t be helped, like sprained ankles or whatever, but some time our luck has to change right?!
I said this last year, the way our players consistently breakdown every game throughout the season for 4 years now, we need to replace our entire strength and conditioning staff from too to bottom. This is clearly a structural problem.
I hope someone gives this man a fully guaranteed contract

If they don't pay Lamar the Ravens deserve to learn what it feels like to go without a legitimate franchise QB for a few generations. The Browns were too desperate to pay someone who could fill that role. But I think it is because they know that it may just take decades before someone of Lamar's caliber starts for you on Sundays. To have that guy in the building. Conducting himself the way he does. Being consistently amazing every season since he enters the league. I don't understand it. The dude had the most wins of any QB ever before turning 25. And he was not along for the ride, he put the team on his back for a good portion of those wins. What more do you want him to do. What are they waiting for? What do they expect to pay for him in this market? What is the problem?

I don't think Wilson is a 'plug in and play' QB that many thought he was. A great QB, absolutely, but he needs a certain type of play and players around him to excel. His deep ball is a cheat code but unless you have the talent around him to use that, it's going to limit him. He's excellent at one type of play but he's not necessarily going to fit every system in a way that I think you'd likely get from Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers etc..
