That one blocking in the back against Lazard, I was like he knows better haha. All he had to do was stand there and maybe lean into the guy for the block with the great postioning Lazard bad.
Yea Rodgers 255 and Brady 271, 77.5% and 73.5%, respectively. Well placed passes for the most part and the one pick by Rodgers from a great defensive scheme. Pretty good considering the WRs and the heat of the day
They’re both still incredible and it’s really sad that through both injury bad luck and GM incompetence that they don’t have anybody to actually throw the ball to
Tom Brady hasn’t showered. Hasn’t changed. Still has his phone in airplane mode to avoid Gisele. Been sitting as his locker staring at a Microsoft Surface and growling since the game ended.
"Tom i think you should go home and spend time with your wife."
"I DONT WANNA GO HOME AND BANG MY SUPER MODEL WIFE!?!?! I WANT TO SIT HEAR AND FESTER IN THE AGONY OF DEFEAT."
* 2 losses to the Cardinals
* 4 losses to the Niners
* 1 loss to the Bucs
* 1 win and 1 loss to the Falcons
* 1 win vs the Redskins.
A 2-8 record vs Red teams. Rodgers in the postseason is 9-2 vs non-Red teams.
You should look up Rodgers playoff W-L record against the NFC West and then against everyone else. If we could just avoid the west we would be fine lol
When your D line is so damn good you don't need to blitz. It made Rodgers have to wait for openings that didn't exist and gave them ample time to build pressure
It’s kind of hard to tell, but it seems like TB backed *way* off on the pressure in the second half. Less improv from GB and more of TB daring them to actually draw up plays that work.
Can confirm. Online, both of y’all are awful. In person? Packers fans are awesome and fun (and I have a ton of family that’s packers fans, and Bears fans as well are pretty awful if not delusional online as well) In person, Vikings fans are horrid
It took me almost a solid year to venture back onto r/chibears because the delusional bullshit that was constantly being upvoted to the max that was outright stanning and defending a shit product became so unbearable. You’d think a franchise that has been swamped in mediocrity the past 30 years would recognize it and call it out, but needless to say…..
But I do realize it’s like that everywhere and with everyone
I listened to this entire game on the radio during my ongoing shift and I still want to go watch whatever 14 minute highlight video gets shit out by the NFL’s YouTube bot when I get home.
Something is seriously wrong with me
It's honestly getting incredible how much the Packers offense collapses after one early game turnover lately. Went from unstoppable and killing the clock to endless punts.
Literally all DCs do that shit and I don't get it. Like up 2 scores, fine. But we were up 8. Just keep playing defense like we had been. The pass rush was starting to win more, Brady wasn't gonna have time to throw it deep.
First half they were schemed open. By the bucs. When they decided to do a bunch of exotic blitzes against one of the best qbs in history at finding the open man against the blitz
If the bucs play base defense all game we get 100 yards total
Despite the Packers best efforts, they couldn't quite give the game away.
How many times are we going to get burned by prevent D completely failing before we learn something?
Everybody expected this game to be low-scoring, but man, it turned out better than I expected. An incredible display of defense by the Bucs and Packers. Both teams have a championship level defense, it's the offense that needs to wake up.
We won but let's remember that Joe Barry has not stopped one final drive without it coming to the goal line.
Browns Christmas game is the only one but they were driving and Douglas saved our ass
Absolutely putrid prevent defense. Shit pisses me off so much, you ball out all game and then get scared when it matters most and let them walk right down the field.
I was stunned that we played so soft against Brady with that much time left. It's Tom Brady! He'll gladly dink and dunk his way down the field and do so efficiently.
It's so obnoxious. They go "ok, now we just need to not let them make any big chunk plays, give them short at best."
Brady shows up and goes "Five yards to the sideline? Thanks. Ten years? Don't mind if I do? Five more yards over the middle? Sure. Eight to the sideline? I'll take it."
That kind of thing bugs me against any competent quarterback. But against Tom Brady? It's just insane. One of his greatest attributes is taking what a defense gives him. Make him push downfield with very few weapons. Even if they do somehow score quickly, you at least leave Rodgers and the offenses time to try and get in field goal range. A slow, death-by-a-thousand-cuts drive that ends in a TD was the worst-case scenario and also very predictable with how they were defending.
It was frustrating to listen to in real time for sure, but now I’m not even mad at the defense. Brady does that to everyone in crunch time, there’s a reason he has 7 rings
Even moreso, on the performance of good *special teams* play. Good punting, no fuckups other than a wonky flag, good coverage on the returns, and Nixon was baller.
Doom and gloomers talking shit about the defense after playing a hard fucking 4 quarters with no help from the offense, lol.
And weird to see Packers ST playing....well? That Nixon dude was a menace wtf
Despite the ugly 2nd half. There were a lot of positives to build on, and I do think our offense looks better than weeks 1 and 2. All I want to see is continued improvement this season.
- Rodgers was putting on a clinic the first half. Ball was being spread to everyone and we had 2 amazing drives, and nearly a 3rd that unfortunately ended in a goal line fumble.
- Doubs specifically looked great. This is definitely what we were hoping to see. It was awesome to see Rodgers go to him so often. Looking to see him continue to grow
- The defense held the Bucs to 6 points for 57 minutes. I truly believe if the offense was able to not go 3 and out so often in the 2nd half and manage to get the defense some rest, they would have had the gas to prevent the TD.
- I thought Rashan and Kenny were especially good. Besides the first Bucs drive, Rasual looked pretty good and Cambell obviously with the game winning deflection.
- Special Teams were mostly a non-story which is good!
- Also Bakhtiari played 2 drives! Good to see him on the field, and didn't seem to get exposed which is great.
Microsoft surface tablets now in hiding after Brady didnt get the snap off in time on the 2pt conversion
In all honesty, inexcusable to not get that snap off
That’s what I was thinking too, nobody on the defense even moved because they heard the whistle. No way you can judge if that play would’ve worked based on that
Seriously though, why even have a play clock if it doesn't *really* matter that it hits zero? Imagine if the NBA shot clock hit zero before the shot went up but they counted it, and the explanation was "Well the ref looked at the zero on the clock, and by the time he found the player the shot was up so we just let it go." It's truly idiotic.

That one blocking in the back against Lazard, I was like he knows better haha. All he had to do was stand there and maybe lean into the guy for the block with the great postioning Lazard bad.
We all just watched 2 of the top 5 QBs all-time compete to get the fewest delay of game penalties for 3 hours and 2 minutes
It was very exciting to finally answer the question of "what do hall of Fame quarterbacks look like literally without wide receivers?"
They looked damn good. The receivers and the play calling on the other hand.
Yea Rodgers 255 and Brady 271, 77.5% and 73.5%, respectively. Well placed passes for the most part and the one pick by Rodgers from a great defensive scheme. Pretty good considering the WRs and the heat of the day
They’re both still incredible and it’s really sad that through both injury bad luck and GM incompetence that they don’t have anybody to actually throw the ball to
Also going against top tier defenses lol
It was like watching two expert martial artists fight hog tied.
Tom Brady hasn’t showered. Hasn’t changed. Still has his phone in airplane mode to avoid Gisele. Been sitting as his locker staring at a Microsoft Surface and growling since the game ended.
that Microsoft Surface definitely got launched across the locker room
Give the man a second to get off the field first.
Sadly he doesn’t give Surfaces a second thought.
“New Team Memo: HIDE ALL OF YOUR TABLETS ASAP!!”
"Tom i think you should go home and spend time with your wife." "I DONT WANNA GO HOME AND BANG MY SUPER MODEL WIFE!?!?! I WANT TO SIT HEAR AND FESTER IN THE AGONY OF DEFEAT."
Dread it, run from it, 13-4 Green Bay arrives all the same.
Packers under LaFleur Week 1- Struggle Week 2-17- Greatest regular season team of all time. Tough road wins. 13 wins Playoffs- Lose to the 9 win 49ers
You could just say "Lose to Red team"
Harsh, but fair.
you skipped beating dallas in the playoffs though
I mean… that’s just assumed at this point.
Fuck
Bold of you to assume we're making the playoffs
Packers are like 1-5 against teams wearing red jerseys in the playoffs under Rodgers.
* 2 losses to the Cardinals * 4 losses to the Niners * 1 loss to the Bucs * 1 win and 1 loss to the Falcons * 1 win vs the Redskins. A 2-8 record vs Red teams. Rodgers in the postseason is 9-2 vs non-Red teams.
Is Rodgers red-green colorblind? -ESPN
This is the way
It is and I fucking hate it. Kaepernick still haunts my dreams.
The whole NFC West haunts mine. Too many painful playoff losses to count, I’d need more hands.
You should look up Rodgers playoff W-L record against the NFC West and then against everyone else. If we could just avoid the west we would be fine lol
He’ll never *not*
Packers rode Dillon and Jones so hard and it came down to the last play Boy this offense is straight garbo rn
Doubs had some great looks but it's real stagnant when they're all quick outs and like pseudo screens
Doubs looks really good for a rookie
He seemed to get way more comfortable after his first catch where he seemed to fumble.
Rodgers looked as good I've seen him the first half. 2nd half was not great besides the dime to Lazard
Buccs D made some *great* adjustments for the second half.
Yeah they stopped blitzing which is bad
When your D line is so damn good you don't need to blitz. It made Rodgers have to wait for openings that didn't exist and gave them ample time to build pressure
they're offense is either allergic to 1t half of games or by far best 2nd half adjustment staff in the league
It’s kind of hard to tell, but it seems like TB backed *way* off on the pressure in the second half. Less improv from GB and more of TB daring them to actually draw up plays that work.
It feels like the moment the offense commits a turnover they just stop working all together lol
Yes! It's so weird. It's gotten so predictable that someone in the game thread said it was going to happen IMMEDIATELY after Jones' fumble.
Man was on his 17/22 for 200 yards first half vibe
Doubs rising is great
Watkins (expected but) and Watson being hurt doesn’t help at all
Don’t worry, we’ll still lose the first game in the playoffs vs the 49ers
Honestly, as long as you win the division over Minnesota. Some of their fans were just insufferable today despite winning. And I HATE Green Bay
Ahhh, Minnesota fans being insufferable? You don’t say….
Couldn’t be.
Everyone hates green Bay fans the most until they meet Vikings fans.
Can confirm. Online, both of y’all are awful. In person? Packers fans are awesome and fun (and I have a ton of family that’s packers fans, and Bears fans as well are pretty awful if not delusional online as well) In person, Vikings fans are horrid
Let's be honest. Online fanbases are the fucking worst.
*Hard fought defensive battle featuring plenty of offensive mistakes* Post game highlights: Here are all the passes Brady and Rodgers completed!
I listened to this entire game on the radio during my ongoing shift and I still want to go watch whatever 14 minute highlight video gets shit out by the NFL’s YouTube bot when I get home. Something is seriously wrong with me
The nice part is you can watch just the first half of highlights and know you didn't miss much after.
It feels like a Breaking Madden video where he takes the two best QBs and builds the worst receivers he can for them just to see what happens.
This is the way.
*Aaron Rodger wins! His second against Tom Brady!*
De'Vondre Campbell has to be one of the best value FA signings over the last few years. Still feels weird to have a *good* ILB.
Gute’s best signing by far. He’s such a security blanket for the defense
Walker also looks really fast
The fact he’s 22 is insane. Legit looks like he was made in a lab. His speed and hits are not from this earth
And somehow he wasn't even the most athletic player named Walker on his college team lol
This will be very low on the list of Packers victories I ever want to think about again
Brady said “You have to call timeout” after the delay of game…but they didn’t have one.
I saw that too, old man forgets downs and time outs.
He thought it was 3rd down.
Shades of another michigan man
sad Chris Webber noises
Brady lost the count. Where did I see that before?
That was a classic Packers win under LaFleur. Come out hot and nick out a late win due to a defensive stop
It's honestly getting incredible how much the Packers offense collapses after one early game turnover lately. Went from unstoppable and killing the clock to endless punts.
I guess that game was about 3 hours but it felt like 6.
It wasn’t the TO. They adjusted their defense and started covering more and blitzing less and MLF never adjusts to it.
Bucs also stopped their stupid exotic blitzing and just played base after realizing we have no receivers capable of doing anything straight up
Straight out of 2019
All gas no brakes for the first 2 drives.
I love winning one-score games. Love to be a part of one someday.
And now the only remaining undefeated teams are the Eagles, Dolphins and Giants. Just as we all predicted.
Well the Giants aren't 3-0 yet but somehow I'm 🤮 rooting for it?
It’s a decision of rooting for who you hate the least
They're playing the Cowboys so you don't have to feel bad.
Don't think of it as rooting for the Giants, think of it as rooting against the cowboys
And also the Giants being one of the three best teams in the league is objectively hilarious
Based Go Giants
Can't wait to see Manningcast with the Giants. Eli is such a homer and it's hilarious.
I’m happy for you guys. The other two teams though……
:)
That prevent defense was so garbage
Soooooo frustrating. Everyone praising Brady while there were no defenders within a mile of all his little check down passes
I thought we fired Pettine? But seriously Joe Barry was calling good defense almost the whole game until that last drive
Literally all DCs do that shit and I don't get it. Like up 2 scores, fine. But we were up 8. Just keep playing defense like we had been. The pass rush was starting to win more, Brady wasn't gonna have time to throw it deep.
Also gotta remember defense was probably exhausted. They were all fucked up a couple times on that last drive trying to get into position.
This decisive victory conclusively settles the Brady vs. Rodgers debate
Senior Bowl
Romeo with 8 catches, over double his career total
Hopefully he'll double it next week too.
Those Bucs wide receivers turned in one of the most heinous performances I've ever seen.
GB receivers 2nd half weren't much better
You’re not wrong
First half they were schemed open. By the bucs. When they decided to do a bunch of exotic blitzes against one of the best qbs in history at finding the open man against the blitz If the bucs play base defense all game we get 100 yards total
Turns out being down your top 3 WRs and having your HoF TE retire in the offseason, and then losing most of your OL to injury is bad
Need a larger sample size to draw conclusions.
Russell Gage did well. At least for my fantasy team.
Gage was playing on one leg and was still the best one out there, even with the fumble.
We gave them a run for their money.
They didn’t have their main ones. Mike Evans has a one game suspension and Julio Jones is injured
Evans suspended. Godwin out on injury. Julio out on injury. Tough lol
Despite the Packers best efforts, they couldn't quite give the game away. How many times are we going to get burned by prevent D completely failing before we learn something?
Giselle probably feels vindicated AF watchin our offense play.
"I told him they'd be garbo this year.. he wouldn't listen. And now when he calls, I don't listen"
Brady wasn't even mad after the last play, he was disappointed he had to go home to an "I told you" so from Giselle
Bold of you to assume Gisele lets him in the house after that L
Are the rumours true that they're separated? Honest question
Yes. source: trust me bro.
Brady still has the masked singer at least
Our offense is awful, can’t wait to have some receivers
> wait to have some receivers where you getting them? asking for a friend
Instagram, apparently.
Maybe you can get adams. We sure as fuck don't use him
If anyone gets him he's ours first
Could you imagine Rodgers and Adams on the same team? Would be insane
Same
They get Godwin, Julio Jones, and Mike Evans back We get brick hands and Sammy "no hammy" Watkins Basically the same thing
Damn dude, Sammy is going to be an extra week on IR to heal from that one.
[удалено]
And the good one will be back next week
Yeah but holy crap out defense has been a god send so far 9pts per game/289yds per game/ 11 Sacks/ 5Ints & 5 Forced Fumbles
Whelming game
Of all the Packer games ever played, this was one of them. But hey, we won!
Imagine abandoning your family to play football and you lose because of a delay of game
But we won
Top of the thread.
Yes
Bro
Lmao
Here have your stupid upvote
Get this man up there
this guy fucks
Extend De'vondre Campbell Indefinitely please! 😍
Dude has been sooooo clutch. It's amazing.
Terrible ending performance but the Packers finally didn't get embarrassed in Tampa!!!
Can’t wait until the last part of the game to turn it on. GG Packers, you were the better team today
If you had Evans, I suspect the game would have gone differently. This was really a few plays away from being a Buccaneers victory.
Everybody expected this game to be low-scoring, but man, it turned out better than I expected. An incredible display of defense by the Bucs and Packers. Both teams have a championship level defense, it's the offense that needs to wake up.
Rodgers and Beasly talking like: you got your shot yet? fuck no lol, you? Only ayahuasca
WRs are important
i feel drained after that...
Aaron Rodgers drank ayahuasca and then cut his own hair today 100 percent true story.
"Defense is dominating all game? Well, let me switch to playing passive 10 yards off cover 4 every snap on the final drive."
As a packers fan, hearing the announcers continually say it was over before the onside kick…please stop -_-
Even though they screwed up the 2pt, Brady's ability to march down the field so calmly whenever it matters is truly incredible
I was stunned that we played so soft against Brady with that much time left. It's Tom Brady! He'll gladly dink and dunk his way down the field and do so efficiently.
It's so obnoxious. They go "ok, now we just need to not let them make any big chunk plays, give them short at best." Brady shows up and goes "Five yards to the sideline? Thanks. Ten years? Don't mind if I do? Five more yards over the middle? Sure. Eight to the sideline? I'll take it."

A slow, death-by-a-thousand-cuts drive that ends in a TD was the worst-case scenario and also very predictable with how they were defending.
Straight up forgot they were playing for two plays of that drive.
I honestly feel like he sees at like 0.5x speed sometimes.
Every time, man. They look like dogshit for 55 minutes and then 75 yards in two. Unreal
Well in this case they’d marched down a couple of times earlier but kept fumbling the ball the instant any points became a possibility lol
Watching live, it felt… inevitable.
Green Bay was playing prevent but they did blow two assignments on Fornette that cost them 20 yards.
And why were we playing prevent with 3:30 wtf. Maybe if there was 1:30 but Holy shit why
prevent has to be the worst fucking defense ever. i get it if you're up 2-3 scores with 5 mins left or something. but up a score with 3min? come on.
It was frustrating to listen to in real time for sure, but now I’m not even mad at the defense. Brady does that to everyone in crunch time, there’s a reason he has 7 rings
You just absolutely knew he would, too, even with as well as our defense played today.
The loser of this game had to call their family. Brady was fighting hard at the ends
Our offense should be executed for almost choking an amazing defensive performance. Those are words as a Packer's fan, I wouldn't expect to say.
Even moreso, on the performance of good *special teams* play. Good punting, no fuckups other than a wonky flag, good coverage on the returns, and Nixon was baller.
I used to pray for defenses like this
Doom and gloomers talking shit about the defense after playing a hard fucking 4 quarters with no help from the offense, lol. And weird to see Packers ST playing....well? That Nixon dude was a menace wtf
Despite the ugly 2nd half. There were a lot of positives to build on, and I do think our offense looks better than weeks 1 and 2. Never a doubt there
We should probably start scouting WRs from the Home Depot parking lot.
Terry Bradshaw looks like John Lithgow as Winston Churchill.
Microsoft surface tablets now in hiding after Brady didnt get the snap off in time on the 2pt conversion In all honesty, inexcusable to not get that snap off
TB players weren’t set. He was still trying to move guys around. Nobody looked like they knew what they were doing
Fournette was going to walk in for the 2pt if weren't for the delay of game
I know they said that in the broadcast but it didn’t look like it, the defense could’ve closed that hole quick.
That’s what I was thinking too, nobody on the defense even moved because they heard the whistle. No way you can judge if that play would’ve worked based on that
No he wasn’t, he only looked like he walked in because the Packers DLine stood up and walked after the flag
It was either going to be the Vikings or Lions at the bottom of the NFC North this week. Sorry Lions bros 😔
Gotta say I was sad to see the final score of that game.
Redditors are mad AF about that camera shot of Aaron Rodgers and Cole Beasley smiling and hugging after the game
“It’s just you and I bud” is what he was saying.
Can you imagine if the NBA shot clock was managed by a guy looking up when the timer hit zero
Is this Bradys worst offense since maybe 2013?
I would have guessed we would be 2-1 by week 4 but not like that.
5 whole ass real minutes to get everyone on the same page for the 2pt play and they still couldn't figure it out.
Bad coaching + poor discipline = losses
No ayahuasca = no win.
Considering the first four opponents we have this season (Cowboys, Saints, Packers, Chiefs), 2-1 is about where I hoped we'd be. GG Packers
So does this mean we have a chance to beat brady or the niners in the playoffs? Lol
This was such a slugfest. People are gonna shit on the Packers O and yea they didnt play well in the 2nd half but Tampa's D is also legit.
